i know this might of been asked a million times but does anyone know how i can take out the plastic tipped mouthpiece? ive heated it up and everything but it doesnt twist at all and im worried im going to break it apart lol..

I had the same problem. Thought for a long time it just doesn't want to come off.

Then I gripped it by the round bit of the tip not the thinner mouth section and it just happened.

On a different note I used the Air on the tube (London underground) last night. Was quite late so only a few people, no one seemed to mind ;)

**edit**

Sorry @Ghosts do you mean you can't get the stem out of the vape itself? Can be tight when it's new but as you said warming it up should help. It's always made it fairly easy for me to remove.

Wrap a pair of rubber bands around it, one on the round part of the cap, the second on the glass close up to it. This will improve the grip so you can concentrate on turning it, not compressing things. Squeezing down on the flexible cap is making the problem worse, you want to rotate it without distorting it. Threads are actually a wedge as machines are defined, you don't need to set it in deeper......

Well, had a chance to use my air once or twice now, and I'm living this extra mouthpiece, works a charm, can take large hits on red without feeling a thing, its great!

I am having that bloody annoying problem of the water sticking to the side (You can see in the picture that the middle part is slanted slightly to the side). But that's fine with me cause the rest of it still works. So much better to have changeable batteries too. Can now use without having to worry too much about charging every night. Also with the short stem, it fits nicely into my pocket, and nobody who's far away enough not to smell it has no idea it isn't an ecig. Loving this thing!

Just got one of these, love it!! Definitely like it more than the solo!! Better draw for sure! Had some super lemon haze. On blue.

I've spent a long time researching here feeling like if I didn't get the mighty I wasn't going to be happy. I decided I couldn't justify spending that much and will see what this guy can do for me. I'm so stoked I got this, I don't see a need at all for something bigger and more powerful. I'm usually a sipper, 2-4 draws and I'm on my way, orrr I'll take some
Long big draws before bed for my severe insomnia. I think the Air will perfect for me.

That must have tasted nice.
I've been bouncing around on the colors. Started with blue, slowly worked my way up to yellow. Not sure whether I'll mess with red. Liked green and settled there for a bit. Then liked white (after getting myself a little too toasty on a longer than usual session on green). Now I'm back appreciating blue. Even with my current bud, which is lacking noticeably in the flavor department, blue has nuances that are definitely not there at white. I'm hoping that my next allotment is richer in flavor (can't 'pick your own flavor' quite yet over here) so I can even more fully enjoy the lower temps on the Air.

On another perhaps unrelated note (and so I don't post yet another back-to-backer after I remember what it was I was going to say)…

It is a little mind boggling how vaping (via AA -- no experience with another vape) has affected my usage. Vaping (with the AA anyway) allows you to control results. Not being able to do so was what drove me out of the business when I was younger. Now I'm back because I can contour my usage to my wants and needs. It's pretty freaking amazing.

I feel exactly the same way. I have certain needs during the day time and certain needs at night time, and the fact that I can control what those effects are is profound. Obviously strain matters as well. My lemon haze is a cannabis cup winner, it's amazing. Well not mine but the one I have.

Hey guys,

concerning the micro bubbler: what's that water trap phenomenon you're talking about? I still don't get it, I doubt.
And is it obligatory to vape at green minimum with it? Personally I like to be on blue and white without a water tool... So I'd like to have the same taste and effects with a WT as well. Does it work somehow?

Appreciate your knowledge greatly. I'm loving it over here and want to take the chance to say a big thank you to OF. You're posts are amazing. Detailed, informative and just great. Man, I'd marry you if I was a girl ... And younger ;)

You're quite welcome, of course. But I live too close to San Fransisco, can we please '86' that marriage talk? You're freakin' me out..........

Thanks for the kind words at any rate, glad to help out when I can. We're here to inform, or at least amuse.....or should that be the other way about?

I dont think most people actually know what's going on... it's just a big e-cig ;)

I'm not sure that's an accurate description. How many e-cigs can you name that are designed for herb? All the ones that come to mind for me are designed for 'juice'.

I seriously doubt that argument would get you out of a paraphernalia bust here, if there was actual herb (or residue) involved I'd suggest the best lawyer you can afford....... If they want to, they're sure to be able to present some very damning laboratory testing and expert witnesses. IMO probable cause is not an issue if you go waving it around at the wrong time and place.

If im out of my house, and use the Air... And someone is close enough to smell it.. Well they have bigger issues than 2nd hand smoke already... I would never use a vape, or a cigarette, in an enclosed public area... And if im outdoors somewhere id actually use it, well then im out in the woods and anyone that close to me better know me pretty well.

My wife doesnt partake for the most part... Once in a blue moon she will vape a bit, but thats it... She has to be pretty close to me to smell any odor from the Air... Thats one of the things she loves the most about me vaping... It doesnt leave the LOUD harsh smell behind that combusting does... Granted there is still a smell, but its way less and seems to dissipate very quickly.... But then again i care more about the vapor staying in me than blowing clouds into the room too...

Some people get offended just seeing stuff they dont agree with... They dont even have to smell/taste/touch it... I feel bad for these people, seems like a hard life. Live and let live, or just close your eyes.

Just tested my new titanium...

I like very small doses. I put in a nano screen (bucket style) and put a thin layer in there and packed it... Set it on blue.... This things great. What a great daytime work setting. My bedtime dose will be nice and relaxing...

I've read scattered info on screens for this. I want to start using lavender and other herbs but am concerned about them falling into the heater. Are there any solid and tested screens that can be used as a cover for a packed stem? Are there any that can be used as a spacer/bowl shortener? I guess I am more interested in the cover screen to guard the heater from debris...

I broke the aroma cup within an hour. I was looking forward to using it. Damn.

Any tips for cleaning the free puffitup grinder? Lotsa metal grind in there... If I can clean it up I'll probably use it for other herbs instead of The Herb.

I've been using a small brass screen that I got a bunch of when I got my last combustion tool. Never used them for that but they fit nicely in the bowl of the longer of the two AA stems. I use them successfully to shorten the bowl and to keep the holes in the bottom of the bowl as free as possible from blockages (I sit the screen a little above the wholes at the bottom of the bowl and pack flower on top). If you search a little further back you'll find messages with references to a SS dome screen which people like. It looked to me like they would serve to do what you suggest (cap the flower inside the bowl to keep material from falling down into the oven), but folks seem to use them more with the flower packed on top of the screen to shorten up the bowl. For me, using a regular small screen with small portions of ground bud lightly packed on top is pretty effective. Very little material if any falls down into the oven.

I guess I should have premised this whole long paragraph by saying I don't have any idea about screens or packing, etc., if you're using herbs with which I am unfamiliar. I've only tested one with my AA : )

oh sorry i totally missed the other half of your post lol.

like @GetLeft said you can use a dome screen to reduce the size of the stem, place dome screen in and then place flowers in the stem (and around/on the dome). depending on how big you make the dome screen it can reduce the total load size by a little to a lot. my suggestion for covers... some people just put a well-cut screen inside their Solos (which also applies to the Air). What I do is just put a screen on top of the stem load. a little finicky since you'll need a poker of some sort to remove it... or you can make a flat dome screen and trim it down thin then put it in flat-side down with the ledges of it sticking up so you can remove it with your finger (BE CAREFUL THE STEMS ARE HOT AS SHIT WHEN THEY COME OUT)

Any word on a U.s seller of those new easy flow water stem's? I think some people here E-mailed P.i.u and maybe some other distributors about this around the time they first showed up.

Cloutank, yocan, haze maybe...ok the first two are vapes at a push (although can vape with a little hard work) but are e-cigs in the fact of a 510 connection and battery, just a little fun :brow:.

You are right though, if inspected closer it would probably get taken from you if caught but that would be about it unless you have a 1/4 oz or more on you at the same time, even if caught before if its not a lot you can just get an £80 fine most of the time, but in the UK i would bet money on 9 out of 10 police (at least the ones where i live) not having any idea what it really is, e-cigs have got big over here, seems like every street you walk down someone has one and more often than not a vamo style (tube with 18650) a lot like the air, some including ones i own have no visible tank/wick much like i think it was @Pipes mod for his aa.

I have been asked by a cuntstable  "Whats that?" Just this week while sitting at the park when i was using my haze (didn't see him coming ) i said "I'm trying to stop smoking its one of those e-cig things, going good been a couple days but i think it could work" his reply was "oh my wife has one of them not as fancy looking as yours but she stopped months ago and swears by them, good luck" and off he went

I always have one bowl with e-liquid in my haze for just this reason and i had almost finished the good bowl when he got there so if opened it would have looked like tobacco anyway  and i always have a little pipe tobacco on me if out with any vape (makes my stories believable if questioned further)

Hey guys,

I m learning a lot about screens now and ordered some domes next to normal screens. What are your favorite setups and what do you try to achieve by doing so? And please explain it for dummies... Flowers inside, on top, trapped between two layers where ever etc. :)

To all the WT owners, especially the ones owning the easy flow micro bubbler. Is it possible to vape at blue yellow also and get the lower temp effects (like without WT?)? What are your experiences?

Happy vaping and thanks a lot

like i said earlier it reduces the overall total load size of the stem as well as pushing the material closer to the heater (helping vape it a bit faster). the two screen sandwich method is not required at all as long as you lightly tamp the material down further than the rim of the stem. i just do the two screen sandwich because i'm like that. shit we've got a keurig and a coffee machine and i still pourover or french press my coffee 99% of the time
