@biohacker Why don't you preheat the bowl to get radiant and conductive heat? Should work I guess.

A pen store? hahaha....I am just careful when stretching and haven't had a problem. Just go slow.

Awesome. That's a high temp for a direct hit though! With all this talk of no water, I might have to take a few J-hook hits tonight....with a glass tube. All glass pathway, sounds like a winner. What does AIWB stand for?

Love this thread. Do we even have an idea of what the design looks like for an electric Supreme? I'm imagining something I can stick my current 1 stem Supreme in and it dings when it hits the temp I set. Oooo that'd be nice. ED?

I have a few desktops... however the Supreme is the only device I own that makes this delicious... thick... and pure dark golden honey in any glass piece that it’s used with. I’ve scraped around .5g-ish of flower “dab” (reclaim) out in around 3 weeks.. it even smells sweet and tastes different than anything I’ve ever harvested from a vape before.. love it, and such a nice treat on top of a fresh load!

I agree with everyone else, it must be some kind of voodoo... :peace::science:

I have been reading this thread for 6 months or more, must have missed it! I just searched the thread for "electric" and clicked on your last 15 threads. I do not see it. Little help! :D

Just curious, what propane torch and what butane torch are you using?

    EDIT:
Wait....THIS thing? I can't even tell WTF I'm looking at LOL... I guess I need to heat the Supreme back up.....

    EDIT 2:
Nevermind about the high temp. I hit it a few times on a reheat (forgot to put on the 18mm seal before heating the first time) -- at 175 and 185C, and it is smooth. And...a smooth hit to the head.

Berznomatic propane torch (plastic knob and auto igniter FTW) and just a basic creme brule butane torch with a fat flame. The butane kicks the shit out of the propane for heat up time due to the larger flame (not by much when propane is brand new though), but it heats so darn fast that temp drops quick as well. Propane I find a slower heatup, but way more stable.

I like your questions bro, your genuine keen interest and love in your post speaks more than words, and I think you'll feel right at home here! If you've been reading this thread for the past 6 months, respect!!

It's really pretty basic, just a sv3 with an enail coil stuck in it! :brow: But I think you're tripping on Ed's makeshift glass piece! lol The "kit" for about $350 is supposed to include an actual real glass bubbler.

Any recommandations on torches? ATM some friends are in the US who would bring me along some US sttuff next month, maybe also a good reliable torch?
Was thinking about the Blazer GT8000 or the Bernz-o-matic ST 2200T.

Hi Hogni, or should I say "Gonzo"? I completely forgot about your alias pinterest profile and when I came across it the other day I said to my mum "who's this Gonzo chatacter taxing all my Herborizer photos?" (Taxing is english slang for stealing, or shall we say, borrowing!;))

Then I saw Jabba and it all flashed back! Fair play to you for spreading all those images around for everybody, keep it up.

Hogni, here is the link to the torch I bought for my Supreme "fling", and the one I passed on to @Gray Area , he may be able to tell you if he still uses it or has found something better, but for the price and for me at the time it seemed perfectly sufficient.
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01CCA4ER0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hogni, I am going to be counting on you buddy as well as many others, @biohacker included, to help my decide which vape to go for in time to come. You will be very well placed after you receive your FP SH, with much Herbo Ti experience.

The Herbo Ti would be so easy for me, and cheap (only need the heater and bowl, but may be worth getting the Ti system in xmas sales in case I ever want to sell on)

Finance is an equal concern right now as tolerating the vapor. There are very good reports coming in the FP thread of it being exceptionally smooth and non irritating, but this is at some low temps with full bowls and numerous hits.

But my intention is not to sip on vapor and spend long times vaping for fun sake. I want dome crushing hits that I can tolerate!

So I will be counting on you buddy. If the whole FP setup was in my price range, I would be sold already. Waiting to see what Vapefiend will offer though first. Roll on November, then xmas and new year (and Newvape?)

@Hogni I think the GT8000 is a bit like the standard for big, quality home-torches but you can find it also in Europe.

For the Supreme you should also look into Propane torches, they give more Heat and are very cheap at a home improvement center (Bauhaus etc.)

Also looking very forward to your FP impressions

I thought this was an illusion/myth?

Contrary to the notion that propane burns hotter than butane, the heat output is identical. Both fuels deliver the same BTUs (British thermal units), so neither flame is hotter, according to The Adventure Network.

    FWIW.

I am sure you are right. That being said, perhaps propane torches have typical a bigger tank and or a bigger flame? For me, they were always faster than my butane torches.

No I'm still using the same one I got from you... it performs well and is the perfect height to stand next to the sv3 for hands free heating

Always meant to get another to have a torch either side of the block, but never got round to it.
If I'm in a rush I'll usually just hit the other side with the honest torch I use for my lotus too :D

The propane definitely has a bigger tank and is way more cost effective IMO. My new bernzomatic propane has like a 3 prong flame which is nice, but how full the tank is can dictate how strong that flame is. My butane flame is way bigger and faster, but again not as accurate to work with due to that rapid heat up time. I guess there are all sorts of propane torches out there, i've only use two.

Faster isn't always better IME.... just because the temp doesn't stay too stable, and can overshoot easily. Slow and steady wins the race for me with the sv3. Surprised just how long it can actually stay stable for, and I find with a very slow pull it can actually somehow keep it stable?

    Hi @alex, thank you bro.

I'll get my all my stuff (from NV, CCA, the Supreme, some new VC) mid of Nov. Then I've so much to test I could loan you my showerhead if you want and haven't test another one up to then. Could you get a controller otherwhere? I only have one controller and would need it for testing the Liger setup during this time. I've 2 x 20mm coils. So there is no need for you to look for a suited coil. If not, no real prob. I still have the Supreme for testing ;)

BTW Gonzo is the name of my dog. It's a blue Weimaraner. When he was a pub he was so blue as Gonzo from the Muppet Show

Hogni you really are so kind, thoughtful and generous. I have never been one to take any sort of advantage over others, financial or otherwise, and seek never to put anybody out or ask them to go out of their way.
But your offer is SO tempting to me. One thing I can assure you of completely right now in advance, is that you can trust me 100% to be a man of my word, should this idea come to fruition, and I would never let you down. I am extremely careful too with equipment, especially vaporizers.
I nevet break anything, including glass. I think just one time in 18 years of vaporizing I have had one piece of glass break on me, my large Verdamper glass bong.

I am always amazed at how frequently so many members here are breaking glass
    ( @ataxian ;) ).

So just some advance reassurance that I would look after the equipment perfectly. And should any slight accident or damage occur, I guarantee I would make it right with a replacement no question.
I am also an OCD hygiene freak and keep clean hands at all times, never getting any residue from food, oils or dirt on any of my possessions, which I wipe and clean daily.

So jusy some reassurance there for you if this does happen, and boy it is such a temptimg offer and I am really touched and can't thank you enough.

However, I would feel a little bad if you didn't get to test the FP yourself first! Regarding the controller, I could always just buy one- Vapefiend have hinted about having some made up, and there is the Vapecode one from Dhgate for £91.

If the FP didn't work out for me, I could surely sell the controller, or keep it in case the Glass Symphony is considered over the Herbo Ti. Will check with Jojo Monkey first for compatibility.

So I can't say thank you enough my good friend for your kindness. We can further discuss nearer the time. If I was certain the FP would be right for me, I will only need to sell some posessions and am sure I could make it possible. Just a big gamble.#

If it dod work though, I think I could sell my XL herborizer, as the injector has just been replaced, and Sebastien basically offers a lifetime warranty fixing service too.
    :tup::tup::tup:

Oh yes, thanks for sharing the insight into your alter ego and your blue dog! We also have a dog, a 14.5 year old lurcher cross, still going strong thanks to good clean food (a raw food diet actually, made by "natural instincts" - by far the best diet for all dogs), soma amazing supplements, and nowadays also chirproractitc treatments.:)

What about your squeezing of LVC? ;)

Easy, try being forced to vape in the kitchen and have granite counters! Just like Ataxians floors! Damn I miss the laminate counter and hardwood floor days....sooo much more forgiving than granite and tile for vaping around.

Not according to some of the glass piece pictures and your room i've seen!

Back to the sv3! Have an email in to Ed about the State of the Supreme. High level shit. Please stand by. That is all.

    As you were.

Granted, I will give you that! Im generally never well enough to properly hoover and tidy my room, the gray carpet is old and looks a lot worse than it is.
Similarly the bubblers with herb particles look worse than it is, abv in water from the loose Ti screen etc. I wash up bubblers in hot soap at least every other day, clean tablet, remotes several times a day.

Dust and shit, tea split on carpet etc, never my primary concern when energy is always so low. However, if I was up to it, my room would be thoroughly hoovered and dusted the whole time, just not possible for now.
It is more to do with keeping clean hands from a germ point of view, and Im mega OCD about never getting any residue on stuff from food or oils of any kind.

I wouldnt even eat a piece of toast (IF there was actually ANY bread I can actually eat- just an example), and then touch ANYTHING else before washing my hands. Not even a tap or a door handle, and that is without me even touching anything except the food itself!

Proper OCD that way. I have friends who NEVER wash their hands. Every surface, door handle etc in their house is covered in a layer of food grime from their hands, which at best are wiped on trousers. Yuck, not for me, but each to their own and I ain't judging or trying to impose my own standards on others.

I lnow you are only jesting as always bro , just wanted to assure Hogni that from a germ, dirt, grease and grime point of view, Im as careful as can be, and I never touch my mouth or nose or get germs on my hands and touch anything else before they are fully clean.

I must wash my hands at least 30 times a day!

Man I do hope Ed will consider the Ti Supreme one day, I do want one for real!
