Good luck with the BS restrictions, I've run into it before in other areas. IME there's not much chance of getting them to change their policy for a few bucks once it's set. I've sent references to the actual laws to show without success. I guess I understand why that is......don't like it, but understand.

Thanks.

OF

Yeah OF, not a big deal as gotvape is the only website with that restriction and after what i experienced in this thread i would never even think of purchasing anything from them. Just preordered the PuffiT from VaporNation! So hopefully itll be here anytime in July and ill be happy and let you all know about it.

Out to lunch
still "backordered" on the gv tracking page. I ordered May 22nd so I assumed I'd be one of the first but guess not :/
I'm surprised your order is labeled as backordered. I ordered on the 6th, and my order status is 'Partially Shipped', which is Gotvape's translation of 'backordered'. The fact that they label a one item order as 'partially shipped', instead of backordered, is misleading BS IMO.

It is an issue with the iPhone and windows. Check out this article: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-57382911-233/why-does-my-iphone-take-upside-down-photos/

I deal with it all the time. It is very annoying. I just take all the photographs I take with the phone into Photoshop or a photo editing program. I turn them to the proper orientation and re-save them. Sometimes the data associated with the image that tells it which way to turn can get mixed up somehow.

I have to rotate the photo left then back to get it to upload the right way on tiny pic ??

Is that plastic around the bowl or teflon?

There are some high temp plastics out there but it would be nice to know what it's made of...

It looks like silicone.

Silicone or teflon would be ideal I think, delrin or some other plastic would be a bit iffy imo.

If you can feel it:
-Silicone should have some give and be a little bit sticky/rubbery.
-Teflon will be hard but feel very slippery, almost oily.
But most plastics can be hard and feel smooth too...

OK , so my initial impressions. It's bigger and definitely fatter than an inhaler, not that big an issue as far as i'm concerned. Heat up time is FAST, i had three quick hits on a low setting 3-4 (didn't realize it was so low) and i'm medicated. Not strongly medicated but medicated enough to know that once i get past the slight learning curve this should be a really nice portable vape. I'm giving it a full change now and then i'm taking it out on the streets on Manhattan ;)

It looks like silicone.

Yes but not very professional imo having a layer of silicon on top no matter what temp it is. Not trying to be picky, I mean I didn't even preorder, so just my :2c: I Just feel like it looks unfinished on a design standpoint. Although what do I know?

Personally, it makes since from a design standpoint. They want you to be able to push the flowers down into the chamber. The silicone is touching the heat chamber. If it was made of another material people would not be able push the flowers down in to the chamber very easily. It feels similar in concept to the DaVinci loading chamber.

I have not seen how the cap goes on but I assume it rests on the silicone? It would make since that pushing down on the cap would push it down into the silicone making it more airtight and improving airflow. I have not see up close how the lid/cap works so I could be completely off base.
