@ emmdeemo,

Phew....
dodged the bullet on that one...
wait... when it comes to the PNP, dodging the bullet means pu$$ying out and passing on the session...

Haha! For sure. Its more like I've managed to walk into a hail of gunfire, taking as many bullets to the face as I can :smug:

Cant wait for mine to arrive in the mornin!!

Any reservations I've had about buying the PnP have been blown out the water, hope you have the same experience!

Has anyone tried to weigh down or stabilize their bases? I had an old mouse-pad sitting around so I cut it up and fixed it to the bottom. The stability of the unit has quadrupled. Might experiment with adding weight or something, but this is working really well so far.

Here's the base with the mouse-pad attached:

And the inside:

The case is a Pelican 1120, and it might be a little too small. I don't like how big the 1200 is, but that might be the best choice so there's extra room for a grinder and other what-have-you's.

Bullet Holder Update

Got the First shipment of the bullet holders in, and they have been place up on the website for sale. You get 6 bullets with the purchase of the holder as well. Check out the VB website for order info.

Yay! Been waiting for this. Just ordered mine.
@TherealVaporblunt, is there a way to add to my order? Just ordered the bullet holder, but wanted to add a couple of the Utility Tools to my order.

Here's a session with the pinnacle pro being used dry.

It looks like the PnP is doing some work. I can't wait until mine arrives tomorrow after my last final for the semester!

I see the coughing on the second heat setting and I have to ask, is that because the vapor is so dense or because of the heat from the unit? I chose not to buy the water tool (for now) mostly because of cost and the impractical need for extra toys. I am an occasional user and would probably be toasted after just a few rips on the first setting. That being said, I have wondered if the high-heat would be too intense for me because of my infrequent use. I can't say the water tool isn't tempting!

@bren : I just have to say, that case is SICK! I assume you cut the foam for everything to fit? Either way, excellent find. I may have to come up with a rig like that myself.

EDIT: I just did some brief Google searching and answered that question myself. Still, those are pretty slick. I don't know why I haven't thought of this before. Those cases would be perfect for some of my firearms and other valuable gadgets.

As you had to ask, I'd say both: the density and the heat. The vapor path being short and narrow (a concentrated stream) and the PNP able being able to deliver the THC goods, I'd say contributes to the density and heat.

I don't really know. What I do know is that with my tickly cough, I'm almost entirely held to level 1 with the PNP dry. With the WT, I'm frequently at level 2 and can manage 3. I do find the PNP gets me coughing, but I'm confidant a short length of whip/tubing will get me sorted (as part of my portable kit).

This and the end of my cough (i.e. Spring) will have me sweetly at level 2 for my out-and-about needs. This is a perfect fit as this'll be daytime which is when I prefer level 1 and 2. Then at night when I want a heavier, more effect, I'll have my WT and can take it to level 3 or more. (Though honestly if at home, I'll opt for my desktop setup).

Also note that I generally always start every session at level 1 for the initial taste.

EDIT
To me the flavor of hits out of the PNP aren't great and it gets worse as you move up the heat scale.
Indeed. I find the PNP makes the grade as the taste is passable for a little portable at the crucial (for me) level 2.

The coughing comes from the vapor it self, the heat doest seem to bother me at all unless at level 4+ dry, but i have learned to position the warm air to not be irritating. The vapor is thick , maybe not the thickest put its pretty potent , and I get the same coughing sensations from the water tool so I know its not the heat. The heat may play a small part but for me its the potent vapor. I have used level 5 to see if I can combust and I have not been able to, the abv was super dark but not burnt at all.
I like high temps, I use setting 3 the most, If Iam correct I think all or most of the cbd/cbn's get vaped of at high temps like 410-430 degrees, on the pinnacle to achieve that I use setting 3-4.

So at what point am i close to combustion? And does it give you close to a combustion high?
I tried the highest setting thats meant for essential oils and it did not combust, I killed the whole bowl and the abv was super dark brown almost like coffee but no burn just really really dark brown.
If you use the recommended herb settings 1-4 I cant see it combusting, maybe if the abv is so spent and dry that it might combust at the higher temps like I mentioned before I havent combusted or even came close to it. I combusted for many years and the high temp effects are the closest to combusting IMHO, not exactly the same but near it with its own unique characteristics. Combusting seems to hit you harder at first due to the bad toxins affecting your bidy which n turn makes us feel really baked of combustion, vaping hits me right away but in a different way but as time goes by ( usually starts with in 5-10 min) I start feeling the effects stronger and stronger and it is equivalent to a combustion high IMHO.

To me the flavor of hits out of the PNP aren't great and it gets worse as you move up the heat scale.

I have to agree, well I my self enjoy the taste of my flowers on the pinnacle pro at 1-2, but today I let my combustion buddy whos picky as shit about taste and smokes like a chimney try the PNP. I wanted him to get a fat ass hit as he smokes huge bowls and blows out big clouds, so I attempted to wow him with large vapor clouds coming from a tiny unit like this. So I set the PNP to 4 and let him rip the first hit was light and he commented "mmmmmm Tatsy", then the second and third hit were thicker and he said "mmmm"Again after that he passed it back and was like it taste like popcorn new bowl please lol lol so he found the flavor to not be to appealing either after 2-3 hits at level 4. I then reloaded the other bullet and loaded him up , but this time I started it at level 1 and eventually moved to level 2 and the flavor lasted way longer but again he was done as soon as the flavor dropped off and I kept going till it was done.

The conduction aspet and probably not having a glass airpath hinders the flavor a bit, especially at the higher temps.

When you say flavor isnt great, you mean its neurtal, right? Or is there a burnt popcorn taste at the highest temperatres?
I recall - vaguely - a description another member made round here when discussing this - or perhaps another portable. Anyway the jist is that he/she thought the taste was the usual meh taste typical of many portables. I don't care as I want something smaller than the Solo, but with passable taste and decent performance. PNP certainly slots in there. I think some variables do have to be sacrificed when scaling down these battery power potables.

If by neutral you mean really good and pure taste, then you're talking glass airpath and convection. Like the EVO, or LSV or some portables such as the Solo. The PNP ain't one of those. The conduction effects the taste as do the plastics.

Pretty much all vape bowls end in that characteristic burnt popcorn taste.

EDIT.
... Very cool, Iam assuming the holder can handle hot bullets?

Thanks TRVB and @Engineering !!!!!
Good question.

Another one: is the holder airtight when closed?
I'm not expecting mason jar tight, but with a 6 bullet holder I'm hoping for as good a closure as such a top cap (?) would have.

I also second @Pinnacle Pro's comment on the price. Not bad. Good actually.

Thats another good question, and hopefully the bullets if loaded with greens or spent abv wont mix around if theres a gap between the bullet holder top cap and the top of the bullet.

Pinnacle has arrived........ 1st thing i notice is how well crafted the glass water perc attachment is! Also i have 2 attachments for the pipe fitting 1 is clear the other is black not sure if theres a difference! I like that it comes with all the cleaning brushes an accessorys also, the unit looks slick aswell alot better looking than the inhalater, the only bad point iv noticed is the top mouth piece is very loose to take off/on but i think this has already mentioned, its on charge now so ill giv my take on the performance a little later on..... Or if it works well.....tomorrow lol

Did my PnP just die for the holidays? Clicking the button while unplugged does nothing. When I plug it in I get ascending lights of all the colours then one light flashes 3 times then 5 times and it goes to charging 3 of 5. If I press the button it resets with the ascending lights and back to trying to charge. I let it charge fully and got the same result. Any ideas? Heeelp

Did you buy from the TRVB website? This happened to me, I emailed them and they sent me a replacement unit out right away. If you bought from YoYo kid or somewhere else, you prob have to contact them instead.

I don't know if I'm lucky, but my MPs are never loose and fit on snug with a click and I've had 3 units (2 faulty, sent back, current one works great). Not sure whey I read so many complaints about loose fit.

No I bought it from a Canadian website. I guess I'll have to contact them for a refund if it's completely dead after only a couple weeks.

Any idea what killed my vaporizer? Is it something I did? Can I reset it in some way? I doubt vapornation is going to be able to help me out anytime soon so any ideas would be great.

Unplugging the battery and plugging it back in may do something. Only problem is I don't think anyone has even opened one of these up yet so you're sort of on your own figuring it all out.

I've been using the cotton with a dab method.. inside of the regular bullet.. It works great, better than the FMJ with oil in it. I get nice hits @ 4/5 and its very effective.. I can blow some pretty thick clouds out so it works fine with the cotton.

I plan on using the pinnacle primarily for this, taking it out tonight with dabs loaded inside.. I like it cause I don't really have to worry about spilling or tipping over.. and the hits are far from wispy. Actually if I just load dabs inside of cotton and put them into spare bullets, that would work out great also.. I can usually get a session out of a nice .1 .2 dab.

yeah sonics...I pretty much use my reclaim concentrates only with this vape when on the go.
I like to use cotton to wipe my cera down.. then the cotton goes into the PNP.. sharing is caring lol.. Im making every bit of oil last since the Cera gets pretty messy with wax/oil.
