I noticed a lot of the Mobius bubbler vids on youtube are labelled 'micro' also.

When I get home I have a Strato with the Matrix waiting for me in the mail. I got a great deal on this at BM, but I am fearing that it's going to be too big for my liking. My Nano is around 13" tall, and this bad-boy is 16" !!

Edit: So, my son just sent me a couple of pictures of it (It just arrived) and yea, it's big. I'll have to see when I get home, but I may be looking to trade it for something less GIGANTIC! :) We'll see. I can't wait to get home!

It's a fucking beast and WAY to big for my liking. But it's so damn impressive I think I have to keep it. I'll let it hang for a while before I decide. I need to take a picture of the 3 of them together! I'm am loving Möbius so much, it's all I really want to buy :)

I am as well  ! I'll receive a beating for yet another Glass purchase(damn GAS); hopefully it will be worth it. Decided to hold off for a bit on The Devestator, but it was a close call. Do yall think my decision to try-out 'thy holy Mobius' was a good one, or should I have gone w/ The Devestator(the modular nature is a plus IMO)? Have been in need of a good 'DD' Bubbler & something that is comfortable with the VXC.

I ordered the Matrix Ion. I would've snagged the 65B, but someone beat me to it. My concern ATM is that the ION's volume will be insufficient or that it will be a pain used as a daily driver. For those that use their Matrix Bubs as a DD, how well do they handle it(the cleaning, joint-stress, etc.)? Thx :peace:

Grateful, I use my Ion every day. I also clean it afterward. I don't own a Cloud though. However, boobs does. He also owns an Ion which he uses with it. Maybe he or another member will chime in. :)

Ive got the "clear/micro" matrix which is a bit bigger than the ions.
I've never worried about joint stress on it, it's a dewaar, and the matrix is braced at the bottom, everyhing about it feels really solid.

Cleaning wise its no different to a showerhead IME. I just pour in iso, shake and repeat if necessary.

I love my matrix, so much so that I can't see anyone being disappointed with one (I'm sure there are people out there that don't like the matrix, but I consider them to be crazy )

I have no experience with bubblers like these but really interested.

What would be your guys choice between Clear Reti vs Ion Matrix and why? What would be more important to you - the slightly bigger size of the Clear or the supposed better perc of the Matrix?

FWIW, this would be being used with some log vapes like the UD twigs or HI. Thanks a bunch for an opinions.

Well, I'll cast a vote for the Matrix, but I have never tried the Reti. I have 2 matrix style- one tube and one bub. They are both my favorites right now. I just have to say that Mobius is really all I am interested in right now, next will be one of those 60 or 65mm cans.

BTW, I will post some pictures of my growing Mobius family this weekend. The new Strato is just KICKING my ass when paired with the Cloud!

Reti and Matrix are two different percs. Clear and Ion are bubbler/can types/shapes. I'm personally a fan of the Ion Reti.

I don't think the size difference between Clear and Ion is significant. The difference in perc between reti and matrix is also minor IMO. To me the big difference is the wider base on the Ion. It's very subjective though.

    Pretty good comparison vid-

Hha doesnt matter anymore, Ion is already sold out so the only one left for now is the clear reti, which i might purchase...anyone who has a solo to use this with how does the reti work with it?

I imagine you'd want PVHEGonGs for that setup. It'd be a real shame to restrict the Reti's percolation with the Solo milkshake draw.

Awesome. When I get a Cloud,,,I'm going to get a 65t. For now, my Ion Matrix works wonders with my HI.

I have an Ion Matrix, question though, where can I find a quality ash catcher that runs straight up and down like the one in the video max posted?

Is it a crime that I've been using it without one?

I wouldn't want to gunk up a matrix perc with tar resin like that. You would be cleaning/scrubbing it, after every use.

At least I would. I can't stand the taste of combustion, so tasting that nasty resin, on a fresh bowl would make me want to gag. Don't know what it its, but I literally feel a bit ill when over at friends house and looking at that nasty combustion piece.

I assume you merely want to keep the tube clean, not add more diffusion?

    What about a carbon filter?

I don't know! Honestly I bought it after searching for the perfect piece of glass at my LHS, so I literally know nothing besides "surface tension". If you can offer advice, please don't hold back!
