I seriously thinking of putting my almost new (used 4 times) PD up for sale. Not quite sure yet though.

the Underdogs seem to have gone up in price a little, but maybe contacting Dave about a "lost dog" (blemished) might be a good idea. Those used to be priced around $150.

The E-Nano is supposed to be released at $179 and is looking real nice.

The HI is $135 (excluding the power supply), but you'll have to wait (list).

Log vapes are awesome. My UD has changed how many of my friends view vaporizing. It hits HARD and its damn efficient. So many times I just put in the tiniest pinch and I'm ripppppppped off it for a good while. I *think* my UD twig birthday vape was $150 and I upgraded to some extra stems for $25 more. The lost dog route is probably a good idea as I believe the bday vapes was around sept-oct...

Yep, a lost dog is what started the addiction to logs for me as well. Great place to start imo, and probably the only complete package available for a 150 bucks at the moment.

A Toasty Top might be readily available as well but I'm not entirely sure so I would just contact Alan if you're interested. You could be ready to go for a 160 bucks if you choose that route, but you'll only have one stem for that price.

And don't forget the aromatherapy aspect of logs. I can get my mind right while also getting my mood right... A win win.

Why don't you give hazy a mail too about a Hot Pod? I am sure it will be below your price point. I don't know when will he start production but I haven't find any serious fault with the beta unit and the design has serious advantages over the competition. Might worth the wait... :2c:

I'd also recommend the Epicvape nano at the intro price of $175. It provides nice hits and has even robbed some vaping time from my Cloud. I seriously doubt any log vape maker will be selling for $150 these days. At that price you'd have to be looking for a used unit.

I believe his last price quote (after the intro sale) was $200.

Adding the power supply alone will put you over $150, and you'll also want at least one of his nice glass tubes. An all glass tube comes with the nano, for another few days anyway.

forgive me if i am wrong BUT.... i went to the first page on the HI thread and it says this in the OP:

I will be offering them for $140 which includes the power supply. Exotic woods will be an additional $10.

so doesn't that mean the HI is $140.00 (plus shipping and whatever glass accessories you want to purchase) and INCLUDES a power supply??

Apparently I spoke too soon if the PS is included. The price should be compared with a roasting tube that's comparable to the free tube upgrade though (as well as shipping), if you're going to compare to the intro special on the nano. The HI is also not going to be available for a while, due to the wait list. I do think the HI is an excellent model if you're OK with waiting for your turn on the list.

honestly.... i wanted the e-nano but i am in a bit of a bind for $$$ right now. i will have some $$$ soon since i filed my taxes (even though the federal government is not ready to accept them) but i am sure i will get the $$$ long after the e-nano special is over :( which makes the HI waiting list perfect for me since i don't have $$$ now. Question is.... will i have $$$ when my name comes up on the list?? i guess i will cross that bridge when it gets here.

go get the vapolution2 with the code from the fc thread that makes it $100 with the aiw bowl. Best deal around. It's similar to an all glass log vape in design.

thank you for that suggestion. The reason i was THINKING about a log vape was cause the logs look like "art" to the casual eye in a room. the vapolution2 would "stick out" IMO. i do appreciate the suggestion though. i'm still in the process of looking and evaluating so there is certainly no rush. couple that with the fact that i am dirt poor as well and you see.... i'm in no hurry

I'd drop Underdog Dave a line and let him know you'd be interested in a lost dog (slight cosmetic damage) piece. Great guy and outstanding customer service. He'll figure out a way to get you a log. If all else fails, $25 more for a new dog is not that much more. If you are REALLY living hand to mouth, I would suggest NOT buying any more vape toys until you have your essentials taken care of.

The HI looks awesome, but a lot of people have been waiting A LONG TIME to get one. No one knows when they are gonna start being made again and there is a long line in front of you.

i TOTALLY agree with the "not buying any more vape toys till the essentials are taken care of"!!! which is why i am not actually buying anything now, and am just looking. when i get my tax money i will be back in the black again with a little room to spare but that will take time especially since the federal government is not ready accept federal returns (i e-filed with turbo tax and got a message that the federal government is not ready to accept returns yet). i have emailed the maker of the HI and he told me he is still building them, but he is in the middle of moving and cannot start again till he is moved. i was put on the waiting list. Yes i am aware it is long but at this point... i am in no rush.

i would go the e-nano route but again... no money at the moment to take advantage of the sale. the sale will certainly be over when i do have cash in hand.

thanks for the suggestion of the lost dog as well. i did go to the website and used the "contact us" form to inquire about more information (not to purchase) about "lost dogs"
