Rodders I will bet you a large sum of money that Seb will sort you out. He will most likely fix it for free if you pay postage.
At most- he may charge you for a new heating element (I guess €30 max?).
And he will probably "oven clean" your injector glass so that it comes back to you brand shiny new.

Or if Sebastien is possessed currently be a demon and refuses to help.... then it is only €99 to buy a brand new injector, not €400.
But NO WAY is Seb gonna shut the door on you and leave you like that. I dont believe he woukd sleep at night. Yes his products are expensive but he does genuinely care about his customers happiness and considers his Vaporizers to have a virtual lifetime warranty where he will do what he can to make it right at the least cost to ourselves.

No sign of Digi still. I dont have the money yet so double the (anxiety not quite the right word)....
Hoping the two can materialise at the same time, and soon, really can't wait!

Ok I got the suggest power box and dimmer switch as suggested in earlier posts.

Hooked up my XL to the electronics and turned dial up to 10. Waited til it was really hot. Say 20 mins.

Put some material in the bowl and dropped the XL on. I am gettin flight Vapor with great taste. ABV is coming out very light khaki colored. Tried putting something on the top hole to cap it and it helps. But not getting the vapor like some of my other desktops.

Any suggestions or tips?

@Alexis Hey man, you probably already know this but Sebastien says:

Bonjour,
The digital version is not yet available, the manufacture of the digital controller has been delayed.
It should be available for the month of May
Thanks for your interest
Best regards,
Sebastien

Silly thing is, like you, I have no money for this digi Ti yet either. :mental::)

Thanks V much man. No I didn't know that, but I did anticipate it actually. Im kind of relieved. It takes pressure off my useless ass to sort out some financial recouping. You know how when you wish you had done sonething 3 weeks ago, cant see it happening for weeks still....

And before you know it- BHAM! Digital is ready to buy, everyone LOVES it. Except me!:lol:

I did email Seb yesterday actually just saying how excited lots of people are for the digital's arrival, with a bit more potential interest to be piped up across the pond.

C'mon you awsome USA amigos. We invite you all to join us Europeans onboard the Herborizer train. I mean, be fair, we do buy all your top vapes and get them posted this way, so no excuses now guys!;)

@Mushroomturtle cheers bro for the shout. That helps things a lot right now for peace of mind, motivation and planning.

Yep no fee Seb just said send it i hope its just the injector element i miss my baby. That is very good i spent 500 euro there and will buy a digital ti too so im happy he did that.

Very good customer service and a top class vape i think this is still my number one vape for these reasons.
Great man, thanks so much for letting us know as well. What did I tell you isn't Seb a great guy? Really pleased to hear that. So you are getting the Digital? I look forward to that for you bro.

If the repair goes to plan its brilliant i have big debt and my vapes seem to break on me sadly. So yes i want the digi because the slow heatup times unbearaable if i wake with nightmares or sweats i cant sit for 20mins at all.

I need to wake and bake and back to sleep or the day ahead is ruined.

I use vapcap for this kind of situation ;)

I have this thought and expectation also for the digital, as I do also like to vape to get back to sleep at times.

I agree I do use the vapcap often here. But the digital should theoretically be more suitable for this purpose. Faster heat up (certainly compared to XL) and also you can see when it is ready, which is nice for peace of mind when you are in a hurry or need to vape and quick back to sleep.

Thanks for sharing @rodders83 , your repair is happening bruv. No way it isn't going to plan. Seb will make absolutely sure that you haveva perfectly working XL in no time, I bet you any money now (shall we say, €400?) I need some money, that should just about cover it. ;)

Sounds cool, I think the element is almost bound to be the problem and no questionit will be a quick fix. And definitely keep your sights on the Ti. It will add so much to your life it would be wicked to do it sooner so that the investment can start paying itself off through the years of your life.

This isn't about just getting wasted. The Ti and the Flowerpot are both superior medical devices which strongly support all round bodily health. I just want you to be well Rodders, and have a comfortable life and I know the Ti will help you a lot there.
Happy 4/20 returns dude!

Hi,

First post here and long time mighty user. I purchased the herborizer but i'm not very happy with it. The low temp performance is not like the mighty. The extraction and effect seems not as good as the mighty on low temperatures (158-165°C). Higher temperatures however (190°C) are BOOOOM...

I felt stoned for 24 hours or longer, it really hits you hard... The extraction is very strong on higher temperatures... But i just can't use this vaporizer for every week or every day use... I feel like it's a party vaporizer or one you get out of your closet when you really wanna get heavy stoned.

Did you also get the microdose bowl? That should add another dynamic to the usage options and offer some variability.
You are probably right in your assessment, in a sense. But maybe you still need a little more time to get accustomed to the vape signiature and drivong options/styles.

It can take a surprising time to get into a comfortable groove with a new vapw where it just works for you.
Yout feelings may not change, but I am confident I will be able to vary the extraction rate and experieince enough by tweaking with load/temp/bowl/draw etc.
I hope it fills a nice niche for you in time and thanks very much for sharing with us.

Hey,

No, i didn't get the microdose bowl. I know it would be a smaller surface but the roasting would still be pretty much the same. I didn't test it a lot though because i don't vape a lot. I just bought the herborizer because of the plug-in glass on glass vaporizing aspect.

I like to vaporize through water since my friend presented this method to me which is less harsh on the throat. The aspect of less draw restriction and easier inhalations than dry methods are more relaxed.

You can let the bubbler do the heavy work instead of drawing like crazy yourself. This together with water has resulted in a more relaxed method of vaping. But because i'm on the lower aspect of temperatures when i'm medicating myself i now think i don't really need this, which is true.... Lower temperatures are less harsh.

While it's true that when vaping together in a group we like to set higher temperatures and get more stone i prefer lower temperatures when i vape alone. So i think i just really did a bad purchase. Well heck, it's only from your own failures that you learn for the future. I guess i now know that i'll have to look for another kind of vaporizer for my needs...

Is anyone aware of how to contact someone from Herborizer and actually get a reply?

I over tightened the heater bar screw which holds it on the heating rod by accident and it seems to have slightly de-threaded the screw or bar and deformed the screw head/allen key slightly, occasionally it will come loose and drop into bowl and is almost impossible to properly tighten as when you get it to the sweetspot where it will still grip, its impossible to remove allen key without wiggling which will loosen screw again.

I've sent a couple of emails to info@herborizer.com to ask how to buy a new screw as my glass injector was cracked and I needed to get a new one anyway but didn't wanna pay for shipping twice, however they never responded and i've now smashed the injector like an idiot so its become urgent.

Try this one:
seb@herborizer.com
He emailed me today actually. The Digi-Ti will be ready before the end of May. The controllers are all sorted now.
He said that sales of his extractors have also been flying since Alchimia got involved.
And he has some new bodies to announce, dry versions. One "Sherlock". He sent me a picture, I dont know if I can display it...
Nope, I can copy it to clipboard but cant paste it. It has the same base as the Ti stand, with a Sherlock style glass pipe.

Try that email anyway and good luck man.

Edit-Seb also said he has been really busy the past few weeks as well, complete sell out of extractors on top.

Hello friend, hope you are doing well atm.:)
Is that trate bowl different to the (other?) one Seb sells on his site or the same? I should go and look really so dont worry to answer bro. It must be the same one surely. I still have heard no reports on it yet. It would be interesting to see how it compares to the Ti enail setup.

I told Seb that the Vapecritic will be buying the Digi-Ti package soon and this will very quickly increase awareness of his models in USA. I said I would try and make sure Bud also gets the concentrate bowl. He is perfectly placed to get some reports out on how it performs, 8n relation to other devices and methods.

And did you guys know- I was the inspiration for the concentrate bowl. Sebastien got the idea from me telling him about my experiments vaping essential oils in the XL using hemp fiber, with both essential oils and concentrates in mind?

I dont vape essential oils now, it isnt healthy to heat them that way. They become carcinigenic and are very irritating. Which makes cannabis EVEN MORE special, as if the oils are somehow immune to the heat damage/degradation/alteration that the standard essential oils are prone to.

Guys, really can't wait for the Ti. I can't emphasize enough how much I really need the right vaporizer now to make my living and medicating routine so much quicker, easier and more enjoyable by far by taking the head work out of it. Not long to go.

They definitely degrade at higher temps into various acids, aldehydes, esters, ketones, peroxides, etc

This is a good article I reference for essential oil info.

That's a really cool bowl Alexis, I designed one very similar for the Flowerpot for convection concentrates.

:) The new bowl reminds me of this one. I sadly broke it but i was using it vaponic style for concentrates with my male Gn0me heater (similar to the elev8r) ,by vaponic style i mean rolling some mesh pancakes with it. Works clean if you dont overload, you might wanna try that with the Herborizer i prefer it over hemp fiber.

Well I should just clarify that I played zero part in the design or even concept process myself. Seb just randomly emailed me one day with photos of the 2 new bowls and Digital in the works.

He really is such a nice guy you know. Just purely innocent and sincere always. You get the feeling also that he hardly ever gets pissed at anybody, and never vents just becausw he's having a bad day. That is just the intuitive feel I get anyway, gotta trust those divining rods that tell us what's up when we stop long enougy to listen.

Thanks for the interesting article link. My conclusion with vaping the oils was that there was no safe effective temp. It just creates an unhealthy substance at temps not high enoufh for decent vapor and relief.

But I did some higher temp vaping. I got peppermint milk! Fuck did it hurt though.
Menthol vapor + lungs full of mucus= PAIN!. But it was also the harsh heat and aggressive vapor byproducts too.

What is interesting (and mightily fortunate too when I think about it), dropping the oils direct onto boiling water everyday for my steam- isnt a problem at all in this sense. I get zero side effects, irritation or any slight indication that the oils are causing any harm due to conversion/oxidation etc.
Im very in tune with these things. In my mind and experience, evaporation and steam inhalation is perfectly safe in this regard.
