Ok, first off, I have no doubt that I have left off some of your favorites so if I have, check mark, "other" and post up your favorite in a post. And yeah, I know that White Widow is a sativa dominate hybrids but if you're going to post up a hybrid, make sure that it is sativa dominate in a pretty big way.

My favorite has got to be Durban Poison for its clear headed energetic high. No munchies with high THCV. Really nice in very small quantities.

I hope to try some Kilimanjaro next year. I wonder if it will be similar to Durban Poison at all?

I absolutely LOVE Kilimanjaro, an African landrace sativa. Love African coffee's as well.

The problem with Kilimanjaro is that it just doesn't come around very often.

I voted other for Strawberry Cough - I like Sativas but sometimes they make me a bit too racey and I find that this doesn't as much. It's a great strain for me personally that works like a cup of coffee for me if I don't overdo it. And some of the greatest smelling bud IMO or at least unique enough with its strawberry tones for me to appreciate it.

I had some Chocolope awhile back and I really like it as well: but it did make me feel racey and like my head was ballooning off my body  taste was great though.

I love Jack Herer, the look, the smell, the taste and the effect. It's my gold standard, and I find myself liking other citrus-pine smelling strains as well such as Dutch Treat, and XJ-13. I grew some Neville's Haze x Black Widow (aka white widow) this summer but it went so long in flowering that when the rains hit I also had problems with powdery mildew and then the caterpillar infestation led to botrytis and the whole plant had to come down several weeks early or I'd have ended up with nothing. It's definitely stony, but my guess is less than 15%THC and could have been 18 to 20% with a couple more weeks to fully mature.

I voted for other since Thai wasn't an option.. I have never met a Thai strain I didn't love...

Unfortunately, quality Thai is super rare around here, even shitty Thai is rare to come by IME.... as are most of my all time favorite types of herb in general.. Kush's, Afghan, GDP to name a few.. It's a sea of watered down OG's and every cross you can imagine these days.. Some are super interesting though, but most don't seem to impress me much.. XJ-13 is always ridiculously off the hook when I get it.. I tend to love anything w/ Jack in it.. I love ATF too.. I had a Thai x Bubba once that was perfect! and an OG x Thai x Haze I got from the farmers market years back; that's all this guy grew, and it was some of the best and most interesting stuff I've come across..

I got some Chocolate Thai once or twice a really long time ago, before collectives, so it's hard to say much about it.. We were told it was Chocolate Thai at least, and back then I wasn't really into differentiating the strains I was trying... I remember being surprised at how chocolaty it actually tasted, I wanna say it was kind of a light brown color too.. I wish I could get some nowadays! Any kind... My experience w/ Thai strains is really limited, but that buzz it has is really unique and works really well for me, that and the buzz from Afghans..

Two questions. One, do you like XJ-13 better than straight JH, and two, have you ever tried J1, another Jack derivative?

I probably go w/ the Jack, assuming it looked as good.. But damn, they're both so mouthwatering, the Jack really comes through strong w/ the XJ, that I've tried.. but it's got an extra kick to it that I get great results from when I mix w/ my Indicas.. I've tried J1; If it was sitting by XJ, and any other Jack, I'd get whatever one looked best out of what was available.. I'm no expert, but I know what I like, and Jack is one of those strains for sure.. good Cheese too :D

I always forget I can search by strain, and I could probably find some, but I'd be surprised if it was high quality since it's just not one of the popular OG type strains, and doesn't get grown as often, or seriously it would seem.. I tend to just go to the same few places though, so I get what they have.. since they have better standards than other spots I've gone to.

Honestly, the samples I've had of XJ-13 look, smell, taste and have the same effect as Jack Herer. I'm not sure I could tell the difference if it wasn't labeled.

The more heady high I got from a Sativa was from a White Diesel (hybrid sativa dominant I think) and from a strain called Euphoria a friend was grown some years ago not usre it is full sativa but since the high I bet it is sativa dominant.

It's sad cause this year my pure Sativa's doesn't yield very well and are not so tasty, i think this strains are more difficult to grow.

My latest crush is some Purple Space Cookies... Strawberry Cough concentrate is awesome, smooth yet potent.

My absolute favourite though has to be Cannatonic, them stick sweet buds are pure bliss (even though it clogs my grinder like a mofo). High CBD/low THC sativa/sativa dominate is my main jam during the day by a mile. If you never tried a strain like that I can't recommend them enough, especially if you find pure sativa's too intense.

I get Euphoria at my dispensary and it is a sativa hybrid which has 6% THC & 12% CBD. I get it for my headaches and it works very well. It was bred from Skunk strains in the early 2000's. To me it has a sweeter aroma than Skunk, I try not to use it at night unless I have a major headache because it seems to make me very energetic.
