So my enano came back, but the mailman had a good time with it...

So I quickly taped it up the day I got it...but today I did a better job and even made a temp notch so I know what temp I'm on haha!

I also put cardboard wrapped in electrical tape where there was no more plastic, so it's nice and stiff!

How much herb are you using? Maybe to little? Or maybe you need to pack a little more?

I use a grinder, grind it as fine as I can. (also broke it up by hand) doesn't matter, I think. If I wanna hit the nano in 3 min from warming up with the stem I put it on 7 and I start to hit it after I feel heat from the heater. Once the outside get warm to the touch (wood part) I put it at 5.5-6.6 for a perfect smooth draw with a glass stem. Material turns brown not black. For the bong if I want to hit it asap I put the dial to 9 and hit it within 3-4 mins (burns black on top though). Once it heats up to the correct temperature I lower to 7.7-8 for a vaporbong hit (material is light brown). I'm still learning as I go.

I pack it half way up the glass stem, so that the material doesn't touch the ceramic heating element maybe a half inch to 3/4 of an inch to the end of the glass stem. I also use the epic pick (shits fucking dope, I don't even think im using this tool right) but I pack it down with it, not to tight but just so that everything is layered properly and there are no gaps between the material.

After a couple weeks with the enano I'm completely satisfied! Insanely milky hits on command. I run it on 7.5 exclusively now, and my UD has been sitting in the closet cold ( no disrespect to UD but you are my back up now). Loving the all glass stem and I need to make an order for more, just have to wait for some funds and other things. Another thing I love about the nano is the airflow. I hit it as hard as the cloud, which I like to do because it creates good diffusion when using glass ( thats 90% of my usage). This vape is also a machine for concentrates. Loose kief, bubble hash, BHO, QWISO, it doesnt matter what you stuff in the stem, it's always gunna vape good. This is a pure convection log and you can be hands free when using it in the bong ( I think kingofnull said he left a full bowl with the nano on top for a good while and the load was perfectly uncooked). This is a cheap way for someone to get a vape that does everything, just takes a good week and some know how to get it running exactly how YOU like it. That's another thing, if YOU like nice wispy hits it's possible, or clouds or anything in between. Amazing vape that changes temps fast and only vapes when you inhale. Can't ask for much more!
i will own one of these...or at least pre pay for one by april 20th.

Depends what kind of hit you want. I find if you wanna milk up your bong , a tight pack is best. Looser is good for chill dry hits I find

Chill dry hits that get you higher and have more distinct flavors in my experience... Just chiming in as a fellow log vaporist. ;) They save you loads of bud too... Little is more with a good log! I believe airy hits help with absorption somehow. Another friend has also recently come to this conclusion.

I think im just gonna hold off though I was using my micro ufo beaker last night and it was great, the 45 degree angle of the beaker is perfect for laying back in recliner

How is it working? Also, do you think the cardboard is a good idea in a circuit board??? I don't know myself, but seems like a possible fire hazard, be careful!

Any other cheaper water tubes online its tedious searching
What's your budget? I'll help you out, feel free to PM if you prefer.

BTW, wanted to thank EveryDayAmnesiac for getting me back into using my SSFG beaker with the E-nano and shreadhead for suggesting a packed stem is better for milks. I'd put the SSFG on the back burner because the Lattice was performing better, but a little tweak in technique and the Travel Beaker is back in play.

Received my unit, looks great! Walnut is beautiful.
On my first use, I broke the stem :(
Has this happened to anyone else?

I have never owned any 'log style' vapes. I just found this thread and had a question about the first post:

"My goal in designing the E-Nano was to blend the efficiency, beauty and ease of use of a log style vape with the power and benefits of 120v ac. "

Are there any log vapes that work on something other than 120vac? I'm just curious what is different about using 120vac for a log vape... do most have a separate power supply, or were they only made for 220v prior to this ?

Working just fine:) no problems at all. I made sure to wrap the cardboard in tape first anyways if it were to get hot enough. On another note, i finally got my replacement nano dialed in. 6.75 and a relaxed pull, loose semi pack and the result is cloud sized hits.

I lost the gong screen and just toss nugs that only fill it about 75% was working good no pieces falling
