The Nano Nation? :buzz:
e-naners? nanions? :D
The Nano Nation

I like that and I really like Nanions - like minions?

edit: may as well post something useful while I'm at it!

So I accidentally left my E-Nano on the GonG with a fresh green load in it to do a quick errand. When I came back I was worried I wasted a bowl, but much to my surprise it was still nice and green when I got back and no vapor escaped when I took the E-Nano off the GonG. I think it's safe to say this vape is pure convection, at least when inverted on a stemless piece.

Also, I know I've been touting VOD (vapor on demand), and it is still my prefered way to vape (put the E-Nano on a cold stem and inhale). But this most recent 'accident' has made me realize that you CAN pre-heat an E-Nano stem/GonG if you desire and it works swimmingly. Vapor comes the SECOND you start your inhale, instead of half a second to a second later with a cold stem. Does that one second really make a difference? No, but it sure looks cool. It's also really effective for cashing a load at lower temperatures.

Well, I went on a trip and took that battery generator. I have been using it in the car :-). The E-Nano is perfect. It's a little bit more difficult to set up than something portable like the Pax (cause I have to plug it in) hehehe. But once you get it going,I'm ripped. I feel like the Pax may give me a slight headache, but the E-Nano seems like its much cleaner (this is in no way a complaint about the pax, I love that device too). It's so great and efficient. I'm super ripped right now.

I love the E-Nano. There is no way I could have brought my Cloud, way too fragile and you can't plug it into the generator. Needs to be a home outlet. The E-Nano it's so great. Loving it. I'm ripped if this doesn't make sense. I'm so happy I bought this device.
Which generator did you use? How much charge did it have left after you were finished with your E-Nano? Did it seem like a reasonable solution for car camping?

Awe, my question was noted and responded to. I feel so validated! So much better than the usual blank stares, awkward coughs, and cruel murmurings I get in real life.... :(

Gotta' say, I like "Nanions."

I'm sure some of you have read the completely unsubstantiated story in the thread about the DANGERS OF CERAMIC that's been getting a lot of buzz. Anyone care to chime in about how "safe" they feel using the Nano with its heating element? I just ordered mine last week so I've yet to use it...

Until I hear definitively that it is not safe, I'm going to assume it is. The OP didn't source any of his information, so as far as I'm concerned it was all anecdotal. Considering how long this heating element has been in use and how many vapes have used it, I'd think there'd be more reports of health problems related to ceramic dust and silicosis by now if it were a real concern.

This problem has arised before, i don't recall the developments but the final conclusion was:

there is nothing to worry about. neither in the nano, nor with 7th floor products.

I used this:
http://www.sears.com/diehard-platinum-portable-power-1150-with-jumpstarter-air/p-02871988000P

I must have used it all day yesterday about 4 or 5 sessions, maybe even 6 or 7 I can't remember. According to the unit, it had 80% charge :-). At max it only takes 15 watts. I think it would have lasted another day maybe two, but I don't know. I only had a one day trip :-).

After a weekend with some band members the enano was a success! They already own a UD as well but they really want to pick one of these up! They combusted twice, but luckily I have ample cleaning supplies. If you do combust using silicone, I found a 24 hour soak in iso AFTER a thorough clean will get rid of all taste and residue. My silicone actually held an alcohol taste for a while after plenty of hot water.zero combustion taste and my silicone actually lost some of that ugly yellow discoloration. Anywho here's some glass porn for you nanions!

I wonder why they don't "limit" the upper temp to avoid combustion like many other vapes (Solo, Cloud, etc)

I've blasted a fresh stem at 10 before and not had combustion. The level of dryness of your flowers is more important than the temp ime.

Combustion is very rare if you aren't trying to push one more bowl out of a stem.

I've heard there's a waiting list for the enano, but the website says they're in stock. Anybody know the real story?

This was posted on February 1.
Because some people were close but missed the cutoff time. I've extended both sales until Sunday Feb 3. Please keep in mind the E-Nano is backordered for at least 2-3 weeks. Thanks

Andy
Not sure if they are back in stock yet. I hope so, it's such a good vape that I want everyone to own one. :D

Nice vids Shred! Why did your buddies combust twice? Just user error?
Ya user error. They are used to ripping their underdog so hard to get the best hits out of it and I run my enano around 7.5 so I can get everything out of my herb easily. They were packing their own bowls as well so maybe too much was packed

I ordered at the end of January and don't expect my E-nano for at least a couple more weeks without any pleasant surprises. I don't think the website is up to date in that regard.

yep, I ordered mine at the end of January too, he said it would take 2-3 weeks for new heating elements to come in when we were emailing back and forth. If the elements have just arrived now, I'd assume it'd take another week or two to get another round of units made and ready to be shipped.

Also in the same boat... ordered mid/late January. Had an email from Andy last week that said we were still looking at about 3 weeks to ship (hopefully now 2!). Keeping my fingers crossed on him getting his shipment on time so he can get them out and have us now-nearly-nanions officially in the club and jumping for joy.

Always tough waiting for a new toy, but I am so looking forward to this one. Cleaned my fav little bubbler spotless last week and put her up on the shelf until that special day. Only real downside with that is it has me on the Lev Lattice so much. MAN, that thing will knock you on your ass if you're not careful!

I ordered 20 days ago and I can't wait, I was told around 2 more weeks,
HOO WAAA, I am like a kid waiting for x-mas gifts.

vs? Were they racing? They looked like they were on the same team...and you won!
I think I put versus because it always feels like battle of vapors! You can watch in the Y adapter to see which vape produces more vapor. I had the enano set for a nice chill temp like the UD so they hit basically the exact same for this video

shredhead you b-stard. I was just thinking of doing same with the Solo and the E-Nano. I'm going to order a Y-adapter just as soon as PV comes back up.
