I ordered my 'Nano in mid-Feb, so I haven't been waiting too long but I can definitely understand some of your guys' longer waits and frustration and also some hesitance from newer people. I would be too if I didn't have some vapes to keep me satisfied already. I still firmly believe in what others have said though: in general, that this vape is going to be something very special and highly coveted once it gets rolling and best to get on the list early and just wait it out.

However, if you can afford it, I think you'd be very happy buying an Underdog to keep in your hands while you wait for the 'Nano. If you want one that warms up faster, check out the UD Twigs. You're going to end up owning more than one vape anyway - and probably more than two! I wish I had fully understood that before I bought my first vape!

My :2c:: hang in there, baby! And don't take your name off the 'Nano list, as you'll probably regret it later.

Now, having said that..... I still REALLY FRICKIN' WANT MY 'NANO NOW! :D

Ditto. I ordered the combo the last week of January and I am currently awaiting the arrival of the Nano. I received the EV-2 which is a very solid vape, beautiful too, and can only imagine that the Nano will be the same. I'm confident that Andy will make sure everyone will end up happy, whether that be a refund or whatever action someone wishes be taken. We've waited this long, so what's another 2-4 weeks for those of us that have a another vaporizer to use in the mean time.

Believe me guys, the nano is IMO the best log right now. I have a UD that's great for on demand hits, but when it come to making a load last half a day or just as dense hits as a cloud or solo, the nano comes into play. It's gunna be a sad couple weeks without my nano while Andy fits on some new wood for me.......very very sad.......:( until it comes back :)

Looks like the vape to own.
Just waiting for the dust to settle!

An open letter to all who have been waiting so patiently:
The first batch of heating elements arrived in December, however my supplier only sent one third of the order but assured me the rest of the order would be completed shortly. This is the same supplier I had used on, and had great success with the EV-2 heating cartridge so I didn’t think there would be any issues with the new heaters. At that time I put the E-Nano on sale for pre-orders. Since January the supplier has told me every other week that the heaters were going into production. During this period I contracted with an alternative supplier and paid for molds. When the samples came in the heaters had an unacceptable failure rate.
It was never my intention to mislead anyone or take money for orders that wouldn’t be delivered for eight weeks. Unfortunately this is exactly what has transpired. This community has been incredibly supportive and patient but I can certainly understand why everybody’s patience (including mine) is wearing very thin. My sales rep (who has been very apologetic) from the supplier has again assured me that the heaters are in production and will be finished in 7-10 days. For those who are still waiting I will throw in extra glass goodies when your units are shipped as a good will gesture.

Sincerely,

Andy

Wow, Thats totally cool
I would rather wait a couple weeks longer to have a product that I can count on.
than get it quickly and realize I should have waited
I could use an 18mm Gong.. LOL, or any water pipe attachment
I am order # 190

Thanks for the update. Don't beat yourself up too much as most manufacturers have experienced a similar situation in the past. As customers, we really look for clear communication and understand that there are definitely things that are out of your control.

Thanks Andy...I've given myself time to cool off and think about it and I am going to stick with you and wait it out. I believe in the product, always have. I just let my frustration and anxiety take over there for a while. :chill:

Sorry about that. :mental:

Andy - thanks so much for the update (and the email telling me to check here for it)!! Glad to hear we're back on track and anxiously waiting to give the nano a go. No hard feelings here. Know it is not your fault and that you'd like to get them out - probably more than all waiting would like to have them - even combined. Just please keep us updated if any other issues crop up. Waiting can be rough. Waiting and having an expected arrival date pass - with no nano or update - is a whole different thing. Many thanks!

Ok so heres my attempt at a video with the nano and my zapbubbler. Hope you all enjoy it!

Thanks for your help Andy! Drop box made it happen!

So I'm thinking, "Cool! Ed's got a Youtube! I'll subscribe and link him on my front page to!"

No... Ed has this video, Jane's Addiction and Bailey Surfing.

But, I am subscribed!

Though, Linda fondles your stem, quite nicely (especially around the 4 minute mark). I think she's in love.

Reason I responded was the big crack. I have a crack on the upper edge of my HI, that extends up and over the rounded edge and continues just over an inch down the side. Part of the reason I believe its cracked, is its a softer wood (of the hardwoods), Staghorn Sumac. The crack, however... hasn't grown at all that I can tell. I've dropped it from counter height, more times than not (seriously :(). It has so many bumps and scars, I'm in denial and refuse to count them. That crack? Just refuses to be the end of this vape (if that ever happens).

Ya I never doubted my nano would last forever with the crack, Andy had just offered to replace the wood so I took him up on it. My crack is now fully up and down the whole side of the nano and a good 16th wide. Nano is packed up and gunna be shipped out tomorrow! My UD has to step up to the plate!

My Solo was my pinch hitter after shattering my GonG. That is until I realized just how great the direct draw was - especially after adding a screen.

In other news, my GonGs are still tied up in Canadian customs. No fault of Andy's; the tracking info shows the package hitting my shores over a week ago.

edit:
I got a huge cloud of vapor while dry drawing havily on the glass stem in an effort trying to rapidly cool down the heater on my Nano. Definitely a heavy wand-hash stone. Fun!

I saw that you did BDV, you are the first to subscribe I think. Yeah just have a couple or so videos, not much happening, thats my cuz surfin, when I saw Janes last year and the Nano video.

Linda did a great job with my solo stems, I think she digs my wood!!!

Thanks for the support bro!

Well, let's get a move on... I say give Linda all the wood she can handle. As long as she tells everyone about it.

You could do some making of... videos. Or simply a display video of some of your work.

Though, I like the idea of laying plenty of pipe errr I mean, WOOD on Linda. ;)

As soon as I get an extra E-Nano I'll lay one on Linda.

Well I know I've been quiet but I've been keeping up with the E-Nano thread. Let me just say, that this thing is incredible. I decided that today I was going to use the E-Nano and I am absolutely ripped off of 1/2 the amount I usually use in my Cloud. Since I didn't use it all in one run, I was able to come back a little later, and hit the E-Nano again (and I left it on since it uses such little power).

Every time I look at this thing, I am amazed at how well it works. If I was buying a vaporizer for the first time, I would definitely pick the E-Nano. It's great. If I could figure out my GonG attachment that would rock, however, I love the All Glass stem, and so that's what i've been using.

----

I am curious as to how you guys get so high on the dial. I feel like if I go above 6 I'm pretty much gonna hit combustion. I use around 5 1/2 and that seems to work great. Does each heater have a different temp? Can some units be hotter than others?

Anyhow, great great great device. I HIGHly recommend it  .

Different temps mean different airflows. I pull as hard as using a cloud so I put my nano on 7.5. People have combusted using my nano only because they inhaled too slow. I also have to set up for a very light pack on the herbs for optimum surface area. With my UD I have to pack hard and inhale slower to pull off the hits I get with the nano.

Ahhh that makes complete sense. I adjust my airflow on 5 1/2 to get optimal vapor. So I assume if I pull harder I could go up. Makes sense. :-) Thanks :-)

not effective, rather, inappropriate, imo. she's probably a member here, show some respect, please.

My most humble apologies. It was just some bar/guy (Navy) humor. Not meant to offend. I was unaware Linda was a member here. Though I can't see going incognito/lurking. We're not talking Lady Gaga here. :D

I would edit my comment, so as not to offend. However, now that its been quoted, further drawing attention to it, I can't do much at this point.

EDIT: For some peace of mind, I did a search for "Linda" or some variation, so I could send an apology. The closest I could find, was "Lindsey"

EDIT II: I think I may have discovered her! I will most certainly offer my apologies.

EDIT III: Pretty sure it was her. Sent this...

I was unaware that you were a member here. I made some commentary, that could certainly be taken as "offensive" by anyone. I would have edited, when it was brought to my attention, however someone had already quoted part of it, scolding me for my transgression. I hope that you won't judge me too harshly, for some stupid testosterone moments.

I am a member here. I rarely participate though because I am not "good with forums" (ever since dealing with the "children" at GC, I haven't really posted on any :/).

I appreciate the apology, BigDaddyVapor. Though, I must say, I have grown exhausted of similar remarks that I seem to get on a daily basis. Most people don't have the good sense to apologize when they've said something crude and inappropriate to/about me, though, so thank you. I can tell you meant it in a harmless way
