I’m going XL! I ordered myself a spinning mp kit, dark wood to go with my Shadow. An early birthday present for myself!

I don’t think the VC is for my wife, though. She’s definitely not digging it as much as I am. She struggles with heating and getting a good hit so she’s been going back to her old smoking kit instead. Today I ordered her an HR Fury 2, which was the direction I was planning before I found DV. I hope that’s easier for her to get along with.

She'll probably love the fury. It really is ace and is the electronic I'd recommend... I'm just too taken with my vc. :)

@Moses Baca perhaps if you get an IH, she will change her tune? not trying to discourage the amazing HR's unit, the lady can't fiddle with the torch as I usually do the honors and pass it to her.
I was along your thinking, wishing to gift a family member who has Parkinson's a VC, however a Fury is a no brainer with certain individuals who don't wish to or physically cannot use the VC system, at least with a torch.
man! gifting these vapes is becoming more and more expen$ive, I bought and gave away more than I actually own as of this year.

I have an odd question about the omni condenser.

I just got mine..and when I adjust the carb/turn it, it's very rough and hard to turn. I put some dyna wax on the turning threads and it's still a bitch to open/close.

Is it supposed to be like that? I also am glad I cleaned the condenser. I pulled out 3 q tips full of nasty black shit.

I would give everything a good hot soapy water soak, and twist the Omni condenser assembly open and shut 20 or so times in the water. Then use your fingernail to run paper towel or similar through the threads on the Omni (the half that’s exposed anyway), lube with some wax, and see if it isn’t a little smoother. Some people use abrasives, so depending on how smooth you need it, that’s an option, but I’d ease into that very slowly and only if necessary.

Most Omni assemblies are a little gritty. It will get smoother in time, but none of mine are silky smooth.

Thanks for all the replies. I think my wife will enjoy the simplicity of the F2 with dosing caps most of the time. She'll be happy to have me torch the VC for her when she's home. I think this is a safer bet than an IH, although I'm sure I'll end up with a portable and probably a home unit, too. But one step at a time.

I can't wait for my spinning mp kit. Once my Shadows shipped they got here pretty fast. It just took a few days for them to ship.

Combustion free since Monday and never going back!

Dynawax on the 3 orings of the condenser before assembly should help a lot.

Well both my PS Mini and my first vapcap arrived and I must say I certainly understand all of the accolades for both items. I bought the M starter pack and decided it would somehow be sacrilegious to make my maiden vapcap use without the torch. It was easy to use and potent, full of flavor too! The PS Mini though... I just looked at it after the first use and thought how I feel pretty proud of myself after I make a good PB&J sandwich and here is @Pipes making a magical black box! These are two amazing items! Life is great!

Am I the only one that gets discoloration where I heat my blackcap ? Those I see on the pics here are perfecly black except for the logo. Mine gets ligther almost like the standard one than redarkens a bit if I put a bit of saliva or some dynawax. I can post I pic this we, I only bring my omni to work ( that's why there's a little terp smell in the toilets).
