I think you mean you love the idiosyncrasies that English throws up as well as the differences in grammar, vocabulary and syntax as she is spoken worldwide , as do I.
But try teaching it for 30 years mate, then get back to me

Greetings from London.

We decided to depart early before our next show in Berlin and spend a few day making our way across part of Europe.

We left Chicago Tuesday afternoon and landed in Dublin Wednesday morning, caught a cab into the city, dropped the bags and walked towards the city center.

It was a bit of a surprise how there were almost no stores open at 7:30am. We finally found a shop and had a little something for breakfast, then went to buy a hop on hop off bus ticket. What a great idea! How nice to just ride along on the bus until you see something interesting then get off, and then get back on the next one as soon as you're done. I highly recommend these.

Not sure where to begin, it was just a comfortable place to sit for a while and get oriented about the city. Then we stopped and there seemed to be a good place to stop in for a quick visit...

This was a nice place and the self guided tour was very nice.

The next day it was time to gain some altitude...

The cliffs of Moher. Very beautiful. Also quite amazing at how many people went right around the fence to walk the very edge. It is a 200+ meter or 700 foot drop.

Then a quick stop in the Burren for a few photos.

It is quite a striking landscape. Mostly rock with a blend of wild flowers.

Saturday was a busy day. Soon after it was decided I would be returning to Europe, a picture I was hoping to capture came to mind. I hope you like.

So far it has been a great trip. Amsterdam is next. @Dutch-Mic is coordinating a DynaMeet and eat on Wednesday if anyone is interested, please send him a PM.

To finish up the week, I'll be in Berlin this weekend at Mary Jane. I've heard it is a good show, so stop by if you are in the area.

I had to go and look. . . Hmmmm, choice of bohemian hipsters is rather narrow in it's representation of the brand, products and customers.. . In my opinion it might be better to have some more natural and candid shots. Like over the shoulder of someone sitting at a cafe table with friends and the vapcap in focus on the table etc.
I'd make it my laid back mission to take some better ones to offer to the DV team to possibly use, but my VC collection is too customised now, I don't have a "stock vape" in the collection. Apart from a newly acquired M that is about to get gifted to a friend (hopefully my 4th convert). Also my dynastashes are home made too... shame. I'd have enjoyed the challenge, seeing if I could take some photos that the DV team felt they wanted to use. .


In other news I had the great pleasure of meeting George and his lovely family this weekend as they passed through London!
We met up for a drink and some food along with another couple of local DV enthusiasts. What a lovely man he is, as warm, genuine and enthusiastic as he appears on line. It was a real joy to chat and hear about different parts of the development of his products and company and the various challenges faced. His attitude is inspiring!
Chatted about lots of things, many of them dynavap, but no I don't suddenly have any inside information before anyone asks although I did get to see a whole bunch of multi-coloured and glowing anodised parts that he had with him

I’m not sure I understand what you are saying. Where does the flame go if not on the tip?

I’ve tried the NonaVonG stem on my Omni XL a few times now, heated to the click. It does get pretty dark after a couple of draws through water, but I haven’t combusted yet.

Is it combusting on the first draw, or could you be pushing it too far?

If you don’t leave any air space at the end of the tip, that might be worth trying. It definitely seems to get darker faster for me when I fill it all the way to the top, so I usually leave a small amount of air space.

I will try to pack less, although I don’t think I have been packing it too full.. I use same amount in M tip without the same issues. But thanks for the suggestion. I will try it out tonight.

Have you tried heating closer to the disc end of the cap (furthest point from the digger) with a single flame?

I have in the past, but for some reason thought the heat was lower when it was closer to the digger. Is that wrong? I will definitely give that a shot tonight as well, with a single flame lighter.

I go just a bit under the middle for the first hit so I get some vapour. After that I can get a really long session by just heating it in the middle. Sometimes I even bathe it in the outter part of the flame. Haven't combusted once since then. Oh I do use a hemp filter sandwich (2 SS ccd screens as I lost my one and only Ti ccd a couple days ago)

Question though. Do you have the screen set in the smallest setting? I noticed I have to be a bit more careful when I do that.

I tend to light it somewhere from base of cap to middle of it. Bases on your suggestion and one above that, I will try middle to top.
I am currently using it on the longest setting. In truth, I really want to try out the hemp filter idea, but am not going to bother until I master the basic technique. (I will have more questions when that time comes, I am sure!) Sorry to hear about the lost screen!

Hey bud! Are you angling the lighter as you have seen in Dynavap vids hopefully or you are keeping it perpendicular? It makes a lot of difference.

I guess I haven’t been paying enough attention to the angle of the lighter. Again, I have basically been lighting the Ti Tip the same as I light the M tip. I will consciously try to angle it tonight.

So bottom line, is using the Ti tip a completely different technique than using the M? I remember reading the M holds heat longer, but I didn’t realize there were so many other differences. I also am surprised that “respecting the click” isn’t as foolproof as originally thought.

turn the Vapcap when you heat it and stay just above the point of the flame, do not put the cap in it.

And be careful because the Ti Tip has less inertia than the M Tip because it is stainless steel

Confession time: I've always considered myself a lightweight consumer, a microdoser. My Ti Tips are set to smallest and I used to hit it usually just once an evening and be floating for hours. I've had some ill health of late and am not working. I have to pass the time but I don't have much energy for outdoor activities just now....so, I vape. I vape in the morning 'fore the sun comes up (with a hey-diddle-diddle and haway we go), I vape at noon when my mood is low (with a hey-diddle-diddle and haway we go), I vape in the evenining and I vape at night and my cbd screens seem to have got pushed down ever so slightly. I know a T break will fix it but I'm not concerned, it's still well less than 0.5g/day.
I never used to save ABV from my VapCaps - I think I get all the goodies possible out of them BUT now I'm sometimes vaping in the DaVinci Ascent gently at 170º, 180º, 190ºC (go convert), then caching out the ABV and blowing off the rest in the NonaVong . Waste not, want not
EDIT: I forgot to make my point This was because someone posted a few days back about not getting much flavour from the VC which is a fair point compared with electronic, temperature controllable devices. i'm saying you can have the best of both worlds - gentle high extracting all those low-temp terpoids, then the mule kick of a full VC extraction.
