Just another traveller in the Cannaverse
It was like Xmas today. I got a couple of packages of goodies. A potpourri of cannabis in several forms, and water wands.

@DDave is a prince among men. And a damn fine designer of vaporizer accessories. For lots of vapes. If you don't know about him check his stuff out here. These are some of the coolest and most useful craft stems I've ever encountered.

I have a long one set up for native use with concentrates, another long one set up for native use with flower, and the shortie is set up for concentrates through a J Hook or WP. I've tried them all.

They are the bomb. They really cool things down, a lot. I got some of the biggest lung busters I've ever had vaping some cannabis oil with the short and long wands. I could have been banned on YouTube.

Really tasty too.

I've always wondered what a glass vapcap would be like.

Now I know.

And I like it.

The short one does indeed fit in a standard Dynastash. Which is way cool. Because these are great used natively AND with WP or J Hook. I've tried it all. And I am wayyyyyyy high.

Kudos DDave!

@DDave ...I can’t believe I ordered my sweet little DDave Mods glass about an hour ago and I just now got my Tracking number! It’s shipped! Gee Whiz! Kudos and a big Thanks to DDave.

Thanks Friend. I know I hate to wait when I order something online, so I try to get these orders shipped out ASAP!!!

Thanks for the kind words and shoutout! I consider myself fortunate to be in service of such an awesome vaping community!

And regarding Natively Using, I've found another benefit... Stealth! Once done heating, it's so easy to palm the short one and if any part sticks out, it just shows what's behind it... be it your hand or scenery.

That pic is awesome by the way! Love the attached magnets strategically placed... nice!

I’m loving my @DDave wand with my bubbler, perfect for a lazy Friday and some delivery pizza.. now I need one for the dynastash! I’m also looking to snag an XL dynastash, but I think i’ll go third party for it.
Glad to hear you're loving the wand! Just back from using mine and reading you post, my first thought...... Damn! I need a pizza!!!!

Have a great weekend all!

I'm seeing all these awesome custom modifications pics and awesome pics of custom body and stems.

Is there any way to start a thread for customized and/or modified vaps?

I think we sort of mix it all up in this thread, which is what makes it so much fun. We have all the customizations and modifications and new vendor vapcaps/accessories plus all the other accessories we find and share to use with our vapcaps. But welcome to what might be the most bestest thread at this website. :)

I LOVE how the two separate flames come to a focal point. I hope your circle back and Report how this torch works
I have only had it for few weeks, but so far so good. Not that much slower to heat that a 3 flame(10 seconds from cold compared to 6 or 7) but much more controllable as far as temperature is concerned (my Portosol butane soldering iron is even better, just) and maybe a bit smoother vapor because of the control (Portosol is still the best for me at home, mainly because I believe it will last longer).
Once I have put a few more tanks through I will post back more comments.

Wow, it was a few months ago since I last built a vapor-lung as I was enjoying just puffing on my Omni so much, but this morning I decided to quickly make a new one so I can share the VC with friends easier (not everyone gets it or likes it sadly...).
0HcyDed.jpg

And wow again, I had forgotten how good it tastes and how much it changes the hits I take from my VC. Different aromas, taste (ok, hit me with the plastic taste jokes! :p, no seriously, there is none, just some parsley taste from the previously used food bag!) and just the comfort of taking a big hit through it...
Oh my, I just finished a third bowl, which is a lot for me in the morning and yeah, it's already 12.30 and it will be a very interesting day out in the gardens! :ko::ko::ko:

Cheers guys! May you all fellow vaporist and FCers be great and prosper!:spliff:

So glad you brought this up!

These Vapor Lungs just can’t be beat! I just made another one for a friend the other day. Took about 10 minutes, made with a 2 L soda bottle, very flimsy 1 Gal plastic bag, duct tape, and for the mouthpiece I just heated up the flat head of a nail with my torch and pushed it right thru the bottle cap to make a hole to put the small rubber piece in for the vapcap. And using it is a breeze. The cost is prolly around 2 dollars. I really have to marvel at this because that Volcano cost $400...yes, it does a marvelous job but the bud chamber is huge, prolly made to use for a session with lots of friends. Whereas the Vapor Lung is perfect for micro-dosing.

Yes...someone please make a video not just using it but also of making one of these things for other folks that want one too. It’s simply pretty amazing!

@LesPlenty - the Vapor Lung doesn’t heat/combust anything. It just works like the volcano, letting you draw the vapor from the vapcap directly into the bottle and then you inhale it from there. But if you do combust while you’re heating, you’ll get smoke instead of the vapor. (I know you knew that) I’d like to see that glass version of the Vapor Lung! :)

Be interesting to see a V-D-O of your thang-a-ma-jig in action.

Plastics+heat = a no-no for my lungs—but then I am a huge fan of being cancer free. ;)

Different tokes for different folks!

z3kF13R.jpg
As @kushkush said. I wouldn't worry about the plastic as the vapor temp is not that high. If my mouth and throat can take it... :p Vapor cools very fast while entering the bottle. I'd love to see someone with more resources than I do testing the vapor in a vapor-lung so people are not afraid to try this very practical cooling and filtering device.

And as requested... :D

My problem with devices like this (assuming you are using a bag that will add no odor) is the same as my problem using bags with the HA (or other bag vapes). There is no way to recover the goodness that gets stuck to the bag.

Not bragging...nope! Not at all. But I’ve got too much to use in the next two years. How did I do that? Nobody knows. :D So I don’t care much about the resin that gets stuck to the bag and stays there. I just think the Vapor Lung is the Bees Knees! :)

@natural farmer ...thanks for that video! :)

Hey, if I didn't have to pay for my goods there are all kinds of things I would do differently, including stopping the vape at tan. If I didn't have to pay for food my diet would be completely different. If I didn't have to pay for my transportation I would have a completely different vehicle, and likely more than one.

Sadly I have no magic beans so I am stuck living out life where waste is something to avoid as much as possible. That doesn't stop me from buying the occasional lottery ticket, however.

As for your buying lottery tickets, I wish you the best of luck! Let us know when you win!

I got a light wood OmniVong during the good sale and I can’t tell you how much I’m loving it. Big happiness sure comes in small packages! :leaf:

A little different to what I have seen, it is called a gravity bong here, no bag on the bottom, water in a bucket/larger bottle than you use for the bong is used by pulling the bong up and the water and gravity do the work of your bag.

Not the one I saw earlier(It looked like a water bottle and was way cheaper) but it helps with my explanation above.

I also found a portable version;

Wow...I’m impressed. Thanks for those links! Gonna take a look for sure. And....now I know by your writing you’re from England..... :)

Edit: I went to the Gravity Bong site...DHGate and wish I could buy fewer than 20 of them. Do you suppose the Head Shops would be carrying them? Anyone seen them anywhere in person for sale? Okay....just ordered one...or two. From what I can tell, you just need to substitute a rubber piece to the top to fit the vapcap mouthpiece, which should be easy to do.

Here’s a Video - https://www.dhgate.com/product/1pc-...astic-tobacco/408843101.html#cart_view-1-null

Location: Oz....short for Australia, I will fix, most Aussies can speak quite good English, unless they are from Queensland, Ay But.

Edit; Sorry about the link to an item with a minimum purchase amount of 20, I will look at that issue more closely next time.

Ha, got me before my edit, wireless keyboard is wearing out, I have been missing a lot of T`s too lately,
you will have to let us know how the portable gravity bong goes, people will think you are a busker with a piano accordion getting ready to play. :)

There are many advantages in using a DIY Vapor-Lung compared to a Gravity Bong, glass or silicon, like above. A Vapor-Lung is times more practical, economic, replaceable, recyclable and compared to the silicone one, you can also watch the vape porn inside. And glass? Not for this application. Why not get a bubbler instead? I am just trying to imagine a session with a Gravity Bong in the comfort of my armchair... Nahhh, save your money and DIY!:2c:

@LesPlenty I figured that might have been a typo-thing. Ha Now about that gravity bong, I’m wondering if it ever needs cleaning? And I have no idea how big the thing is but if it’s pretty small it’ll be handy to just keep in the car...but so far I haven’t needed any of my vape gear at a friend’s house or out of the house. :)

I’ll definitely let folks here know how the gravity bong works with the vapcap.

@natural farmer I’m giving away the small number of little bubblers I have, and even the two larger ones...because of the Vapor Lung. I don’t like the glass and sure don’t like the idea of cleaning it. The only thing I’m keeping is my Mason Jar Glass Lung as it’s just perfect and easy to clean and easily replaceable if it ever breaks.

Pic please? :D

I see a Vapor-Lung as a portable solution while a Gravity Bong is more like a desktop. Glass is definitely a more involving and fragile material, better stay on a steady surface!
