@VisiblyVaped Look at this setup! The color of the wood is beautiful!

(This one is a silicone dab rig from Pulsar with an aluminum Titan Stem for a glassless setup.)

This is my first post and it is long overdue. I have been lurking the thread for a few months now and can say that all the impressions posted here got me extremely curious about this piece of perfection:) I ordered a cocobolo Ti Woody XLS and after only a few days knew my quest had ended. The vapcap is endgame for me after two years of searching for an alternative to lighting up.

I own an FF2 and a Boundless CF and had been pretty content with both, especially the FF2 allows me to play around with enough variables to medicate and create clouds exactly to my liking. But every now and then I would still enjoy combustion, there was something both vapes couldn't bring for me. The vapcap has taken things to another level and not only has it rendered the FF2 and CF nearly useless but I actually prefer the vapcap far more over combustion. The use of a lighter, the form factor, the density of the clouds, it's all so close to what I have been used to for many years that transitioning from combustion to vaping now is seamless. I owe George and his team a big THANK YOU for engineering such a gem!

Something that was also clear from the thread was the unavoidable VAS. Not being a stranger to similar urges I promised myself to stick to the Ti Woody XLS and only consider up- sidegrades after a few months. Then George announced the sale... I simply could not resist.

My second order arrived this week with an OMNI XL condenser, Ti Tip and 2 M's, and since I had already caved in anyway decided to go all out and reach out to @phatpiggie for one of those gorgeous stems. I really hope my VAS will settle down after this but I fear the worst ;)

As a newcomer - thank you guys for the invaluable info in this thread, it has helped both in my decision to enter the vapcap world as well as in getting the best out of them. This is a life changer for me, and I can finally say that combustion is a thing of the past from here on in.

@Summer that's with one of @Pipes heaters I assume?

I don't know. I thought it was an exotic or custom wood E-Nano. But, maybe, as @virtualpurple said above, it's @Ed's TnT woodscents vape since the 2 pieces match & ed makes stems and you can clearly see his logo on the vc stem. Just wasn't aware that he made vapes. hmm, have to look into this.

Did you ever get to watch Sneaky Pete's vid on getting bid clouds?

No but I'll watch today. Every video I can.

I gotta look into stems for it. Any suggestions/links? I'm ordering another vapcap. Likely a ti tipped vong?

I'm getting the hang of it with the M and when you can extract a load in a hit.......damn.
That's that shit......

but if you want credit, PM me and i will credit you in the description.

Can I have credit for doing nothing? Tis the American way after all.....

@Summer @VisiblyVaped @stark1 that is indeed an Ed's TnT WoodScents log. Besides a standard glass roasting tube, they also come with two hand turned stems (both an 18 and 14 for water use) and a DynaVap tip and cap. So you can use your DV's at home by just slipping them over the heat tube of the log. A great adjunct to your DynaVap universe!

Im sure there's an answer to this but I cannot find it so apologies if this is redundant.

Can the dynastash er xl hold spare components (mainly a spare stem and/or cap) in its other chamber/compartment? What about just the plain xl (or non-xl) models?

Thanks

You could save a couple of bucks and just buy the vong body and the new tip, using the condenser from your M. But I think the condenser is only like 10 bucks so I would probably just buy the whole shebang.

Or you could do something a little different, and buy a nonavong stem with the ti tip. Because the nonavong stem is longer than the nonavong body it will utilize the xl condenser. With these parts you now have three possible configurations:

1) the M configuration
2) nonavong configuration

Those two are straightforward, but you could now take the xl condenser from the nonavong and run that through your M (after removing its condenser) and you are now left with a makeshift XL.

3) frankenvap XL

Essentially you now have one more configuration available that you wouldn't be able to create if you were using the nonavong body.

Anybody here feel just ok about the M but can't help wondering the hits I'd get from one of the more expensive options?

Dammit
@VisiblyVaped - I have just received my blackwood omnivap today and although I love my M I have to say I am blown away
by the omnivap. The heat up and cool down are quicker and the Omni seems to achieve full extraction in fewer hits - 3-4 instead of 5-6. The first hit on the Omni is cloud city unlike the M which needs a cycle or two to warm up. The biggest difference is the Omnis condenser control. With the M you have to manipulate the carb to get the desired results but with the Omni just experiment with the adjustment until you find the setting which draws in as much or as little air as you like and then just hit like a joint - no need to touch the carb!!! If you can afford the Omni I would recommend it to everyone. I am now going to sell ALL of my battery portables because as far as I am concerned the Omnivap just made them obsolete.

Yes, but the innards of the log have to be the E Nano. I went to his site & he sells E-Nano accessories:

**Upfront, someone has to teach me how to do a hyperlink so I don't have to keep putting in entire URLs. Makes a post look overwhelming/frightening. + I hate when a link doesn't open in a new window.

VisiblyVaped, my advice is go slow & do your homework as you said $ is tight so you want to make a good buying decision. Look at the links cited below to familiarize yourself with what's available. Work on mastering the M now (like I'm doing). Look at youtube vids. And if you can hold off, wait for the next dynavap sale. I'm assuming it'll be Labor Day (the other members will know better than I) &, then, no doubt, there'll be a Black Fri &/or CyberMonday sale. Just my :2c::2c:.

Came to read about grinders; fucked combustion
This is probably not very useful for most people reading this thread, but I made a much shorter video (2:03) from the footage I used about a week ago to make a Vapcap (OG) video. Basically I took out the bitching and stuff. This video might actually be somewhat useful now to newer Vapcap owners.

Maybe this one will get at least one thumbs-up. It's considerably shorter and has a few extra text comments related to things I have learned since making the original video (mainly ground herbs versus nug).

Yes, but the innards of the log are the E Nano.

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/eds-woodscents-log-vape-eds-tnt.22287/

Nothing was taken from the nano. Its very much its own log. Dynavap works with Ed to make the WS compatible with the Ti line and now apparently the SS fit too. As far as I'm aware (someone correct me if im wrong) they machine the heating cores as well. Everything is built by Ed personally. Ed makes stems for multiple different vapes including the nano but make no mistake, the Woodscents and Nano are completely different logs, innards and all.

Chances are I can't wait and I'll have to try a nanovong.
I don't see myself getting an omni until they're on a sale closer to 100-120 or so. 180 is just too much. I could max out today at 150 :/

Damn I'd love that airflow and pack adjuster though

@GreenHopper, your diagrams are also on Pinterest:

This has to be @Hogni 's board since there's a pic of his avatar on top.

Indeed it's my pinboard how you can see in my signature.
Big Brother is always watching you to grab your NICE VC pics and graphics :brow:

But how I've said when I started this pinboard. If there is anyone who don't want his pics be published at this pinboard just drop me a line.

It's such a pitty that there seems no way to sort pics at pinterest. That chaos of nearly 500 unsorted pics is pretty bothering me
