who wants to be the first to show off their light wood/darkwood vongs? Don't be shy, I'll only look...:D
Oh, how I would love to show you my new wood. And I will.... But alas, I am in Canada and I sit here patently for my package to arrive. We just got another major dump of snow last night, so the wait may be extended somewhat.

I got a Light Wood VonG stem and a Dark Wood VonG stem.

Oh do I have the Case of the Monday's fellow cappers, (in a good way) not as Dankrupt as last week, and
had some success in turning on a few die hard smoker Family to the VC's this wknd I gave away one M, I love getting people Enthusiastic about it in a non salesman kinda way. Anyone here who have converted friends and fam to using the VC's what have you found most challenging to have them understand?
I have succesfully converted two folks lately with gifted Ms. This was also their first introduction to vaping in general. The first person, I tried to let them twirl and light and toke. Didn't work - combusted. I think it's just too much to wrap your head around at first. I then decided to initially twirl and light it and let them get the feel of toking and using the carb. Once they had a introduction to thetaste and effect, I instructed them about the twirl/lighting process. If you are only used to smoking out of a joint or bong, it can be a little hard to understand all at once. It took them several tries to find the sweet spot, but they are now hooked.

By the time I figured that I needed a light/dark body/stem, it was past my bedtime (11pm CT),
guess same thing happened to those in Urope. Ya snooze, you loose.

I just think the fuller effect of the VC is bought with more toxins and some kind of highhighhigh temp vaporization.
It is tempting to ignore your posts and assume that you really do understand what you say you don't and are just fucking with us. I think that is why some people are being a little rude. Honestly, this post started out a little that way, but i really do think you are sincere, even if mistaken, so I will see if I can help.

All the vaporisers I am aware of are trying to accomplish the same basic thing while going about it a little differently. They are trying to separate the active (psycho and otherwise) ingredients in cannabis from the base plant matter without combusting or otherwise changing their state in any way that would interfere with your ability to consume them. Because those actives evaporate (become a gas) when heat is applied, vaporizers apply enough heat to vaporize them (but not enough to combust) and provide an air stream to collect them so that a user can breathe them in to his lungs where surface capillaries allow them to enter the bloodstream.
The VC is doing exactly the same thing. It is a fairly simple process, even if some of the methods are more complicated. The VCs method is simple and visible because all it is is a metal condenser (air path) connected to a metal herb chamber that is heated directly by torch (or IH) to bring the goods to a temp where they can release their actives.
The cannabis in the VC darkens as its actives are exhausted. It goes from whatever shade of green it was to a tan color and then a brown color. If it combusts it turns black and becomes ash. As long as it remains tan or even brown it is not combusting, it is exhausting its actives and drying completely. If you continue after all the actives are gone or you apply too much heat it WILL combust, but only when you go too far. It is not hard to avoid this occurrence and stop before you reach it, but for some it will take a little longer to get it.

There isn't anything mysterious going on. When we say the VC is magic, that is really just a compliment on how effective it is and how well it works when compared to other devices that cost multiples of what a VC costs. It isn't an indication that something different or impossible to understand is occurring. It is more like other vaporizers than it is different from them. It is just one of the better examples on the market.

What he's trying to say is that the vapcap vaping temp seems to be a bit higher than most vapes (hence the darker avb). At higher vaporization temperatures you starting getting benzene. So you can still be vaping hut I having toxins. That said any vaping should be healthier than combusting.

My last post in this thread was about Ti spinning mouthpiece and it was just before a Black Friday sale. I was babbling about how much I crave for it and how it would make my Vapcap experience complete. The day after that I woke up with a message. Do you know who it was? A Man himself, a labcoat superhero, asking for my email address. Can you believe that, because I sure didn't? Long story short, after shipping confirmation, almost two months have passed and I almost lost all of my hair waiting for my parcel. I thought that all is lost, but then, out of nowhere, it was on my doorstep. It was a miracle.

It is Titanium and it is a mouthpiece and it is spinning. All I ever wanted.

I am sure You guys and girls will love it as much as I do.

Big thanks to George and Dynavap team for incredible CS and making my wishes come true.

@hujdimislav

That looks cool, but confused why it’s on an Omni. To confirm what I’m looking at: did you replace the Omni condenser with a regular condenser and Ti mouthpiece? Wouldn’t you lose the Omni aspects (and that already has the Ti Tip)?

It is a Ti stem (or how others would call it, an Omni stem) Ti tip, XL regular condenser (SS I believe), and Ti mouthpiece. I don't own an Omni condenser.

Edit-don't you live off in an island somewhere, that can't be from last week right?
Aha! Well observed, my dear Watson. I got a sneak preview due to a small problem with my older wooden bodies (humidity, cracking) and thanks to the legendary DynaVap customer service experience :D Couldn't quite identify them when they arrived but all became clear on Thursday ;)

This is my latest on the go hiking set up. It's a zippered key chain.
VqBoNJ5.jpg

It holds my house key, a small butane Honest brand lighter, a stash box fashioned from a couple of coins and my Copper Stoned Vapcap S. It clips onto my belt loop and I tuck it inside my pocket. It ain't going no where. I don't leave home without it.

Where did you get the key case? I live in Ontario Canada, is it from ebay?

I am not 100% sure of this, but my understanding is that combustion is binary. Either you combust or you don't. The conversations previously about 10% combustion were comedy.

With no combustion there will be no benzine or carbon monoxide. Or at least that is my understanding. Maybe I am wrong.

Now, you may say "I combusted a little" if a portion of your load combusts and a portion does not. But getting close to combustion is not just a little less combustion. Combustion is not a continuum.

You could char the herb without combusting it.

I seem to have read somewhere that the VapCap temp can be controlled by targeting different
areas of your cap.

Does that mean you can regulate the amount of heat applied to your load?

The color of your ABV?

Simply amazing. Simply, Magical.

To combust or not to combust, that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer.
The slings and arrows of combustuous misfortune.
Or to take arms against the vapor of troubles. And just don't heat the tip so much.

Anyways, wood porn on a school night.

@phattpiggie this belongs in the Dynavap Museum and Gallery. The one that I'm hoping to put together at my home. That is a stunning piece of art, design and ingenuity. I don't think I've seen a more beautiful 'stem'. Calling it a stem is an injustice. Kudos!

@Squiby & @paehtod thanks to your cleaning tips I now have sparkling Omnivaps, a sweet nugget of caramel goodness dusted in flower in my Milaana, and thanks to another thread all the cleaning was done with PBW which left my glass sparkling and my Omnivaps looking brand new.
