It was about time I got rid of that chunky 3-jaw lathe chuck .
Not precise at all .

Instead I got a collet chuck and a basic set of collets .

Now ,the work pieces (stems ,mouthpieces and CCD tools ) clamp much better to the lathe
spindle .With high centricity .

Thus the work is going to be far more precise and of higher quality .

BUT ...
I miss the collet chuck drawbar.
A long M12 screw that holds firm and steady the collet chuck inside the lathe's spindle.
Have to make one .
Shops are closed for the weekend .
On Monday.
...

Anyway .It was about time I got a totally free weekend.
I need some rest big time !

I love your mouthpieces!

Sometimes ,one can find small "jewels" even at e-Bay ...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Titanium-M...164624&hash=item1edb18412f:g:WVoAAOSw4GVYSPCN

This is a hidden storage device, it's real M20 x 80mm bolt, Made of titanium.
CNC finished. Best Perfect Quality! 100% can not find gap when bolt head screw in.
This Bolt is an updated and improved version of the old Soviet KGB "dead drop" hollow bolt used during the Cold War. Bolt providing a larger storage.
A bolt made popular during the Cold War used as a diversion, concealment device.
With left hand threads on the bolt head for additional security.
This bolt has a 15mm (3/5”) hole drilled approx. 86mm (3 1/3”) deep.
Total length is 92mm (3 3/5'').

Looks amazing .
Does not fit a VapCap ,but it can fit 2 preload tips or even better
have the whole thing loaded .

Make a tiny stem for it! It's pretty usable even at absurdly small sizes!

There's the new extra long stem, Ajax, alongside the normal length stem.
Yet another fine piece!!

that's a much better quality than the others I've seen on ebay. I wanted to grab one in the smaller size but those are only available in stainless steel or a vague plastic/metal combo. Do you find it too big?

Yes,it's a quite big stash tube.
Plenty of room for herb .
(can fit more than a q - 7 gr - of non grinded herb )
But, i'm not carrying it inside my pocket.
it's just thrown on my car's tool box.
;)

Other than that it's awesome.
Machining is more than good.
i've anodised it into blue-purple.
It has to be made of Titanium grade 5 .
Anodising was a bit slow .
Overall quality is quite high (i didn't expect such quality,to be honest ).

For it's price ,it's a bargain !

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Titanium-M...170451&hash=item1a4a7f948d:g:xXQAAOSw4GVYSPPX

P.S. :

-It's not waterproof -thus ain't smell proof also- but this is easily fixed ,
either with applying a thin layer of silicone on the bolt head ,or
using those elastomer disks found on the inside of soda / beer bottle caps .

-Also it has left hand threads on the bolt head.
So if someone is examining it and thinks that is hollow ,if proceeds with
unscrewing the bolt head ,actually the latter is being tighten more !
nice little detail ,there .It skyrockets the stealth factor .

-It needs a bit of cleaning prior to usage,
'cause there are some leftovers of the cooling agent used when it was machined,
mainly on the inside of the bolt.

-Probably the best stash tube I've seen till now !
Really high quality and it's made of Titanium .

-It's quite lightweight.That can probably rise some " questions " if "examined" semi-loaded .
So ,better keep it fully & densely packed or add some extra weight somehow .

Some of the ones I have seen in these pics are absolutely gorgeous. The textures AND the colors are just wonderful to look at, and I bet they feel great in your hand.
One of my favorite things about how my Ti Omni XL is how it feels when I hold it.

^this 1000x this^
That feeling of the OmniXL was a huge shocker for me, how that chiselled exterior gripped my hand whilst holding and spinning it. I never suspected from photos it would be an ergonomically superior design, that was completely lost on me. The Omni honeymoon is still in effect but I soon knew that one day, if I was a very very good boy and vaporist, that I would need an example of @stardustsailor titanium vision for my own. It looks like this may well happen this summer, as long as nothing unexpected happens!

All systems go, just gotta save the :2c:! Really, if you have a VapCap affliction, then these indestructible yet elegant StarDustSailor creations are a no-brainer. An heirloom to be handed down one day perhaps, if I can find a highlander worthy to wield it. *cues Queen* Loving the stems SDS, have fun at your work-thingy!
