You're welcome :) ...... How time flies when you're having fun eh!? ;) These tunes are even older:

Styx - Mr Roboto ------- cheesy classic alert!
Welcome to Jamrock!? @Seren you just won my heart over....:love:I REALLY love the hyperlinked "surprises" now! And it's the perfect companion to Dido's "Thank You"...hey, the girl's got BRAINS, too?! :brow: Please, Love Yourself! You deserve it, @Seren .

Finally! Thanks for posting, Bob!

Are these REAL Russian police? The world is upside-down...
too good not to, lol

They're just lip-syncing to a professional recording, right? I'm so confused by Russian police who are "up all night to get lucky!" Strangely, this makes me want to rewatch Pitch Perfect again. Did not expect to like that movie, just like I didn't expect to like Russian police looking to get lucky.

(edit:) Love the Chili Peppers, @Seren ! One of the best concerts ever, mostly because the stadium energy was sooo intense...Peppers in Santiago, Chile 1999. One week before my birthday. Thank God for Overseas Study Programs in college!

Bit from the soundtrack of this very underrated movie, which if you have a little over 3 hours te spare i can highly recommend(and to lure you in and maybe get some of you exposed to a bit of culture as a sideffect...:rolleyes:not 1 but 2 famous Hollywood actresses go completely naked in it as well!:brow::p) :
Also the more people sign this...http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005JMHJ,the more chance of it becoming available on DVD.

Quetzalcoatl

DEADY GUERRERO/DIRT COBAIN/GEORGE KUSH
When I was really young I only got to see my great grandmother, a frail but beautiful indigenous woman at the age of 99, a couple of times. She was the last person in my dad's side of the family to be fluent in our dialect, Purepecha. She sang this song to me the last time I saw her, and a while ago I found it on youtube. All I remember of her are her wrinkles, her clothes, and her voice. I've been chipping away at the language (I have a few books) but it's a bit difficult to learn it, esp. considering it has no real similarities to any languages in North/Central America (some relation to a tribe in SA but only marginally). Listening to this song reminds me of her kindness and the smell of chamomile tea with honey and a little bit of lemon. A few parts of it are in Spanish, but only a few.

Rosa de Castilla, t'u engare xan sesi jaxeka
T'u engare xan p'untsumeka Rosa de Castilla
Tantiarhikuare male parhar no isï pakaran como es Florentina.

@syrupy ...that was a great album by Wilco. Lost the CD some time ago, gonna have to d/l it now.
@Grange Goreman , damn Tricky's great. I still pull up 'Christiansands" from Pre-Millenium Tension quite frequently. That whole album was pretty dope. But I just wish he'd never left Massive Attack. Mezzanine was one of the most incredible audial experiences of my life.

Here's something fun from Andrew Bird that's safe for work and the kids: Dr. Strings

So cool that he rocks it out for a kids show. This guy's talent is undeniable. A true musician and songwriter. My favorite is his "Here's What Happened" special that I first saw on Palladia one night and recorded it. Would play it all the time. Then I found out I could purchase the deluxe version of Break It Yourself and I was like, "Woo hoo!"

Edit: @Quetzalcoatl just got around to hearing your post. Like it! As you may not have been able tell from my Andrew Bird post, I'm kind of a Low Key thug (from around the waaaaay...). Serious bass on this track...doesn't really come out on Utube though
