Did you try going to the manufactures site directly https://www.budvape.com/

That is certainly NOT the manufacturer. The manufacturer is a Chinese company, discussed earlier in this thread. http://www.szxp88.com/en/index.asp @GetToTheChoppa did actually purchase some from Buddytech when gotvapes was out of stock and spread the love around to some of us on FC.

Budvape just looks to be a company buying directly from china and marking things up 5-10 times what they paid for them.

Yeah, who knows which of these Chinese ecig companies are trustworthy or not? They all race to clone the popular stuff, manufacture with questionable materials, make you buy in large lots, etc. I don't mind paying a few dollars more to legit American resellers. Ecig retailers seem to mark up a good bit less than the ones marketing toward mj users. Fasttech is another decent option for low prices on some of this stuff, but their shipping is anything but fast.

Yeah man..had an issue with the "genuine EGO batteries".. there must be 15 companies out there..I guess if it works its good. Joytech claims to be the benchmark EGO battery company. The whole issue with EGO is they never trademarked the name so its the wild west with its use.

Sounds like you want an Innokin VV 3.0. The voltage range is 3.3V to 5.0V. You can leave it plugged into USB power while you're hitting it.
Does it come in a 500mah or smaller battery? Because all I keep seeing is 800mah and I want a compact setup for those times my 1100 and 1300mah battery are too big.

Just ordered it (along with another 5-pack of atty's for it and the mPT3). And they're in the US, not in China.

Thanks!

The smallest VV eGo style battery I've found is the Vision Spinner 450mAh. Anything smaller is fixed voltage. Click here to see the message I left in the one-hitter-quitter thread with pictures, including the Vision Spinner 450mAh eGo style battery.

Where'd you find the atty 5 pack for the new aerotanks? Haven't seen them anywhere yet.

They're the original style dual coil (2.0Ω) Kanger attys, with the protruding wicks. Still haven't seen the new ones available separately... At least that's what I think they are. A 5-pack was reasonably cheap ($9) and included in the $2 shipping for the AeroTank mini.

Well I was meaning VV with a passthrough that is smaller than the Itaste. I have a 600mah eGo upgrade with a passthrough, but that's 3.7v and 4.2v, but I'd like a 3.2v also. I guess I am out of luck right now.

The Innokin VV 3.0 800mah is not compact, in fact it is bigger than Ego-C Twist 1300mah. I want to clarify that the Ego standard voltage is 3.3V not 3.7V. The Innokin power regulation circuitry is substantially more advanced than JoyE Twist or Vision Spinner, but if you do not care for that, it is alot of excess bulk. Fasttech 1353300 is a 40mm long passthrough with no battery, but that's not what you want.

Nice. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

I bought my mPT3 2 days ago from Michigan on eBay and it is here today!!!! Now if only I didn't have to wait a week to get Pure Gold :(.

My Kanger Mini AeroTank just came today. :)

It has the "new" 1.5Ω atty's where the wick does NOT protrude from the sides. I probably won't get around to using it for a while, as my Mini ProTank 3 is full and working fine (with a 2.0Ω atty).

Have any of you tried out the "new" wick-doesn't-protrude attys with Pure Gold (or any concentrate that's as thick as Pure Gold) yet? They're both dual bottom coil, and they're both going to remain available, but I thought maybe someone else might save me from be the tester. :p:haw:

Haywood, my repertoire currently involves Sapphires and MPT2v2. In your experience is the MPT3 a significant enough upgrade in terms of taste and leaks? also it appears that there are 2 different bases available - is this a eGo thread vs 510 only or are there functional differences as well?

The Mini ProTank 3 only comes with one base, and it's designed for an eGo thread, NOT a 510 thread. You can buy a very inexpensive adapter (a few bucks) that will allow the mPT3 to work with a 510 threaded mod.

I much prefer the mPT3 to my Sapphires, and haven't used a Sapphire since I got the mPT3. (Maybe a month or so?). It has MUCH better airflow, and hasn't leaked at all, short of once or twice finding a tiny drop of PG on the positive contact of my mod. I don't have a mPT2, so I can't compare the two, but reports are the mPT2 leaks while the mPT3 doesn't. I haven't burned out an atty yet, and I even managed to clean the wicks in one when a friend turned up the voltage and let the coils continue to heat even when he was in between hits. The cleaning got rid of the burnt taste.

That all said, at this point I'd probably buy a Mini AeroTank rather than a Mini ProTank3. It costs two or three times as much, (~$20 versus ~$8), but it's stainless steel rather than chrome plated brass, and it has an adjustable airflow control. I have both now, but I haven't had a chance to play with the Mini AeroTank yet.

Argh! My mPT3 leaked a little today. It was 105° here (LA) today, and I was out in the sun, with the rig in my pocket, but still, it pisses me off. With all my ranting and raving about how it never leaks, I thought I'd mention it...

It leaked out the bottom airhole (not around anything that was sealed), so it's an atty leak. We're talking about maybe the volume of a wooden matchhead, and I "scraped" it out of the top of the 510/eGo battery connector with a toothpic, and smeared it on the coil of the atty I use for non-liquid concentrates, so there was no loss, and my battery has a totally sealed connector, so no harm done to it and good as new with a quick wipe with an iso dipped q-tip.

When I get home from this trip, it's time to wrap some wire around some ceramic wick and see if I can make a better atty for the mPT3 (and the AeroTank Mini, which uses the same atty).

Update us on how that goes. I hadn't even thought about this stupid fucking So Cal heat having any affect on anything. Whenever the whether gets warm I make sure my vape is on me at all times. I have had an O Pen cartridge or two leak when left in the car on accident.

Well, fuck.

At some point during Austin Psych Fest, I dropped my case that had my e-cig equipment in it. Two batteries, two brand new glass tanks from IBTanked, and probably 4 mL of juice.

Decided to pick up an Innokin VV3.0 and a Kanger Aero Tank Mini to replace them, along with another 400mah Vision Spinner with a Sapphire for more stealthy applications.

I had about 1mL left of my e-juice left in a syringe. I go to squirt it in the tank and the needle pops off and my liquid goes everywhere.

Double fuck!

I end up getting MAYBE .2 mL in the Aero Tank :(

That said, the build quality/feel of the Aero Tank is VERY nice! I just noticed that the new atomizers are available on My Vapor Store. Wish they were available when I ordered to save on shipping, but oh well.

Hopefully I can get some more juice mixed up in the coming week to really test it.

Anyone try any of the kanger tanks on a standard non VV mech mod? Or is that too much volts and waste a bit of material?

I use my aerotank with a 1.7 ohm coil on a nemesis works great

Edit: I don't use liquid though just straight concentrate on the coil

I tried the PT3 and pure gold on the T100, but I thought that the PT3 combo was better suited on an eGo twist or MVP.

Where'd you find the atty 5 pack for the new aerotanks? Haven't seen them anywhere yet.

Great news. VaporBeast has the new attys in stock, in both 1.5Ω and 2.0Ω. I just ordered a five pack of each. Not super cheap ($13 per five pack), but certainly reasonable considering they're the only place I've seen them in stock and available. Free shipping and the YEAHBABY coupon code will get you 10% off. link (@Roth: I can't tell for sure, but it looks like the place you recommended is currently out of stock).

For those that don't know what the hell walrus and I are talking about, there are now two different kinds of genuine KangerTech atty's for the 3 series (again, irrespective of resistance, which in this case is 1.5Ω or 2.0Ω). The new kind has four holes drilled for the liquid to get to the wick and coil, with the wick NOT extending out past the metal atty shell. The original kind has the wicks protuding about 1mm outside the shell. Both are a dual coil design.

After my experience last week in LA when it was ~105°, and my mPT3 with a standard (not new style) dual coil atty leaked a little bit every day, I decided to try the new style atty in the mPT3. So I grabbed an unused 1.5Ω new style atty from my AeroTank Mini (which I haven't used yet), and put it into the mPT3. So far, it's working perfectly, the same as the old style did. I am holding off on a gushing recommendation until I've put a couple of grams of Pure Gold through it (to make sure it doesn't clog up), and until I've had it outside at >90° in my pocket (to make sure it doesn't leak). The 1.5Ω atty is working fine with all of my batteries (not sure why as the old style 1.5Ω atty was too low for some of my tiny batteries), so I may not prefer the new 2.0Ω version over the new 1.5Ω version as I did with the older style. Still have my battery set to deliver 7.5W to 8.5W.

YMMV :)
