It sounds as though us Internationals may need to be patient for a bit longer while RBT waits for a button re-up @anasrzi .
I've contacted Ryan some time ago (and again recently) re' change of address and adding a battery to my order but haven't heard back either.
I'm not concerned yet, the worst that's likely to happen is that I have to pay separate shipping for the battery.

I visited PlanetVape yesterday and I don't think anyone should be surprised that Milaana gained three new fans. The idea was to get them acquainted with the device they'll be selling as soon as stock arrives. My Milaana was one of the earliest made, and its finish is probably as rough as it gets. This didn't deter anyone and in fact, one of them was enthusiastic about it and liked it a lot just as it is. He viewed it as a blank slate ready for personalizing.

I didn't actually demonstrate anything. I showed them the Milaana and watched them try to use it without guidance. Everyone found something that worked right away, but everyone's technique was different. It was a wonderful thing to see. We didn't escape without incident, however. After we did four or maybe five stems I decided to change the battery. (I measured it later and I was way too early, it was still at 3.93V.) The next stem turned out to be packed too tightly, and the result: the first combustion event in my Milaana. I concluded that the tight pack prevented the user from detecting the onset of combustion. I can't be sure because it wasn't me. I haven't experimented with large loads so I hadn't realized that you might not be able to tell by the mouth feel. More study is needed; meanwhile, since it hasn't come up before I thought I should put that out there.

The conclusion was that the Milaana is a terrific little device that is simple to learn and easy to like. I'm happy to report that despite all of the bad vibes, PlanetVape is looking forward to making the Milaana available as soon as possible.

Think they will from what been reading, but yea would just like bit of comfirmation as this will be first replaceable battery vape I get and don't feel like blowing anything up
Edit: reason getting from there is cause need to start stocking up on ejuice and want to get order over fifty for free shipping

OK, I got my Milaana last night! I opened the box and put in the battery out of excitement, no time to charge I just wanted to try 1 hit before bed. So I load the long stem up with a little white rhino and go for it. After about a 12 second button hold and draw I got a tiny wisp of vapor. Obviously this isn't right. So I drop the battery on the charger and it was shipped at an initial 3.41v! My first 18650 charger showed it as a dead cell and wouldn't charge it at all. So I dropped it in the VP4 and it started to revive it.
As of this morning with a long charge I was able to charge the battery to 4.18, it cannot achieve 4.2v exactly anymore but at least it is holding juice now! Hopefully this battery will be ok, I will give it a shot today and see how long it lasts.

So this morning I give it another try. Ah yes, here we go. First hit I didn't prime the heater, I just went for it. I did a 8 second draw that was super tasty but not a big cloud at all. Next hit I primed the heater for 3 or 4 seconds before starting the hit, then I took another 6-8 second hit. I got a huge cloud this time. At the end of this hit I was tasting the vapor change through ALL of the temp profiles from cool to hot vaping. This thing really is unique in this way! I finished up the stem and went to look for accessories in my glass box.

First thing I did was pull out a 18mm M2M I got with my D-020 from Sunshine store. Well guess what, it's 19/22 and fits the Milaana like a glove. So I put my Hydratube on top and gave it a whirl. This thing looks AWESOME with a Hydratube on top of it!
This thing goes from wispy to milk in about 10 seconds! I really enjoyed it through water. Look around, most of you already have an adapter that will fit. Mine vary between ISO and US even among the Chinese vendors. I will also try to get a hold of a 19/22 to 14mm male so I can throw the PWTA on it in the car!

@UnshavenFish agin...im no expert, so all the advice to save my face from exploding vaporizers is definetly unignored!

Its a 30a battery so that meets @KeroZen's stated standards, i dont know why it runs so much cooler than the LG's?

I like you bud (in a big hairy manly man kinda way :D) would hate to see you run into trouble in the name of science.

I do have some efest cells I use in boxmods, one thing to note as @KeroZen mentioned is its the continuous number that's important...

You will notice these are the same cell one old one new and the old one has 35a boldly advertised but they have changed it some on the newer cell as it now shows 20a/35a, 20a being the continuous rating and this is the one that is useful as the pulse rating means nothing without more info like how long is a pulse 1 second, two or less than a second.

I read a few pages back that we are talking about 0.3 ohms so at 4.2v (full charge) that's pulling 14 amps so 20a continuous is a good safe zone.

A side by side comparison of both units show that mine has a larger battery door, different screw tightener, different fitting female joint, and a shorter stem. Also has a different feeling click on the button.
Both units run very similarly though!

And for those who don't know, the stem can fit in the battery compartment for storage. Not sure if it's recommended, but it's possible.

The combinations are unreal. Fresh battery/stem start pulling very lightly right after you push the button. The flavor is so strong it overwhelms all your senses. Fresh battery 2-3 second preheat and good luck keeping up with the heater. You get an instant rush of vapor. This little vape has a ton of combinations to get you to the prize.

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
im really on the fence with this one. Have the Zion on preorder, but dam with this getting sent out so fast and these videos, really really want one. Main place it probably be used for me is the car so can anyone comment on ease of use in the car? Enjoy using the mighty but the packing and unpacking gets annoying and the constant cooking (don't like taking hits at stop lights which is when constant cooking is a big negative). So yea anyone's input in car use with this vape be super appreciated

Like the Mi best of anything I've used solo in the car (solo pun intended!). Two biggest advantages IMO are on demand vapor (so no cooking if you're not hitting) and it being so indiscreet. So far have mostly tested this on long daily commute home, so going lower temp and not needing to reload only a small load. Also very nice to vape up on the way out somewhere in the evening, especially if short on time to get in a good sesh before leaving the house. Seems it would do well on a longer ride and could adjust screen up to accommodate larger load. Issue here may be a desire to stir, and could be kind of tricky behind the wheel with size and form of load in stem. Quick and easy enough at a light, though. Have tried a couple techniques experimenting with a larger load. So far easiest way to mix the load up quickly with no spillage is to dump into hand using a pen cap as a tool to "stir" it out into palm of hand. Then just suck it back up into stem.

I don't really like to leave a load in the stem and stem in MI all day, so use a small jar I have for storage. Medium grind in the jar and 18mm GonG just fits in the top. Hold jar inside loose fist with stem in, suck up some ground and ready to go. One smallish/medium load usually gives me the 8 - 12 nice light tasty hits I'm looking for to chill while on my way.

I don't flaunt it in use, but am not super careful with it like I would probably be with something more "vapey" looking like I feel a mighty or others would be. I just try to use it so it looks more like an e-cig mod to anyone who catches a glance. Easy to do at a light if you stay staggered (not window to window next to anyone in adjacent lanes). After nearly daily use like this for a couple weeks or so have never even got a second look that I've noticed. And, not hard to time it so you get 3-5 second pre-heat and a good 7-10 second hit while moving. Not hard to do it all. Just make sure you pay attention to your hit so you don't accidentally get a cough inducing lung buster!

One issue to be aware of is 18650's out in a hot car. Don't think this will be an issue because Mi itself shouldn't pick up much scent. With the way you load everything in the stem, seems like any vapish smell would be there. So no need to pull battery to carry it away from car. Can drop whole Mi in my messenger bag or lunch bag without worries of smelling like a stoner in the office. Or, can pull the battery quickly and easily and take only it if you prefer.

Think it is even better for this than Zi will be, because of form factor. Certainly better here than solo and some others, for all these reasons. Still like my VapCap some for this too, and is also discrete. But, much more difficult to use, empty and reload than Mi.

 Car use is awesome, it was pretty much all me and my buddy used on our cross country road trip moving me to Cali. Stop light stir is very simple when you don't have a co-pilot for non highway driving too, and yes ways to get around with it stirring. For a long solo trip, you can pack pre filled stems, if no stoplights to cash and load stems. Zion can be better for the no stirring with its power control knob and slightly different heater/air intake layout, but yes bulkier so Milaana has an edge there, plenty stable in my small cup holder too. It's perfect because it is on demand, but you can also session very well in an on demand way, pace out your hits if you want to, which is great for a drive imo. Soon I will compare to GH

Be careful using the batteries immediately, a uncharged battery will be weakened long-term life wise and charge level if used right away, seems some did come pre-charged ala @WakeAndVape but best to check em first if you can, especially in case yours was shipped before that started being done :2c:

I am so glad I can take a rest here now, planetvape puffitup, I knew these things could sell themselves once more of you had them finally. Enjoy people! Lots of great tips in here if you can sift through the crap

Oh also I believe RBT may be getting back to emails and such this weekend as he did last weekend and one before that, so patience again people, seems we'll all get sorted soon and running smoothly for retailers and such

I got 4 hits off of my second bowl on the battery. It wouldn't have been possible to combust even if I wanted to and it required at least a 5 second button hold before I could even start drawing, then it took 10 more seconds to get to cloud production temp? I am using the screens VERY close to the tip, to where the load is almost touching the fine heater screen. I can barely char the load?
Either my battery is bad or I got a cold unit I figure. So I tried one of my Haze batteries in it (I know, they won't work well in it, And I watch the temperature very closely lol) but actually even though it took at least as long to heat up it seemed I could eventually get the heater a bit hotter with that battery than my LG from RBT. It does take about a 20 second button hold to get there. No scorching at all with this long of a hold. I am pretty sure a well working device would combust or at least heavily char the load by then.
So hopefully If I just get 1 good battery It will work and I didn't just get a cool unit. Oh I think the 18650 from my G9 Henail will work!, I want to say it claims 20a continuous/30a boost on that cell. I will try when I get home.

It's my 1 year anniversary of joining fuckcombustion, and what better way to celebrate it than with the Milaana! Used it at a coffee shop today outside and no one batted an eye. My brother across the table couldn't smell a thing. Cruised at low temps and enjoyed my coffee with that sweet taste. Was a great way to start my anniversary morning.
Finished the bowl an hour later on my back porch. Same bowl: car ride to coffee shop. At the coffee shop. Ride back from coffee shop. Then back porch. 4 seshes to keep my stone going off 1 small bowl. It's too easy, it's not fair.

P.S. It's larger than I thought. No issues though.

I visited PlanetVape yesterday

From RBT's "Progress Update 04-24-2016" on the site.

"Initial retail sales will be to local vape, smoke and glass shops in the New England area with world wide online sales provided by Planet Vape Our initial retailer, 42 Degrees in Glens Falls NY, debuted the Milaana at their annual glass show on 4/20 with rave reviews. More than 10 local stores in NY and VT are agreed to carry the Milaana which will provide the lion's share of the volume needed to consume the limited production volume of the plant which is predicted to start at 20 - 40 units per week. Local shops and Planet Vape should be fully stocked in May with the balance of the volume being available for wholesale purchase on the RBT www."

So they already decided to sell it and Pak was there the seal the deal? Hard to mix those two statements.

Either way, it looks like roots are trying to take hold!

EDIT: oh..nevermind the statement thing... i didn't get that they are pre-selling.

so has anyone dropped their units? Or got it wet? Would like to know about durability. I worry for the glass part on drops
Drops are luck of the draw as to whether or not glass breaks. Try not to drop it.

Water on the other hand is of little concern especially with Milaana. Mr. Peanut floated his in a lake, shook it out, and kept on trucking. Some of the early Zion testing (same heater configuration) had water spooned into the heater while energized and the result was pretty much a lot of hissing and steam. I coughed a little into a water tool on a zion once and was also rewarded with hissing, sputtering, and interestingly, a wonderfully steamy humid hit!

I wasn't there to seal the deal. As you said, the deal was already done. I was there because I promised a long time ago that I would take my Zion to PlanetVape so they could have a look at it. The Milaana was still a concept without a name. The meeting was supposed to happen before PlanetVape agreed to anything, but the USPS sent my Milaana to Germany for a month. Once it arrived, other complications prevented us from meeting until yesterday. So there was no deal-sealing. There was some glad-we-decided-to-sell-this-thing happening, though.

I see this like a political campaign. The development and beta testing managed by the manufacturer are the primary.

It is in the hands of the voters now (retailers and customers), and I have a very good feeling about it... :)

My advice, go with these or these. Cannot offer personal experience with efest, but I've not heard stellar reports on their batteries. Their chargers are solid.

A lot of good info in the 18650 battery thread pinned in the related equipment forum.

I want to reiterate that my few complaints with this vape are really very minor. Especially when loaded a little less minimally, M is nothing short of amazing!

(had some delicious, room-fogging hits of Lifesaver
and after that, White Haze :whoa:)

Am I just baked... or does the button press in without actually closing the switch, and then take a little more pressure to completely engage??
Sometimes I have felt that it wasn't making much heat, then realized I wasn't quite pressing all the way. I kinda like it, if that's the case; a little easier to modulate, almost like an analog button?

Could someone who had tracking info tell me what their shipping weight was?

I'm trying to determine if RBT remembered to package mine with my Zion charger. So excited! UPS usually delivers around now so it's pins and needles over here
