@StormyPinkness and @zombied UP Tech does in fact manufacture the quartz coils for Oil Vaporizer and Delta 9 Vapes, but they are not available at w9tech.com. I agree with the entirety of Stormy's thoughts on the lack of wicking ability that quartz possesses, as well as a slightly hotter, less tasty hit for a given power setting due to the nature of oils running away from heat. I have also tried the quartz coils in "Temp control" mode on a box mod, and still prefer the black porous ceramic wicks, personally.

Haha awesome! Rocking my stealy logo now! Where did you get that awesome drip tip? I really love how the AC v2 has the standard drip tip. I also really appreciate the simpler design of the base. Will make cleaning a breeze.

Actually should have asked this before I did the upgrade, but if I ordered an omicron v3 and got the omicron v2.5 free with that do I send in the v2.5 top with the receipt that says I bought the v3? Should I just write a note that it came free with the order on it or something?

Edit: I should have noted the receipt doesn't say anywhere on it I got a free v2.5 omicron with the order.

One Omicron top for one upgrade. Doesn't matter what reciept says. You can keep the receipt. Just send one top per upgrade. :-)

Ps don't forget to put note with the top so we know who you are and what your upgrade order number is. Saves us the trouble of Sam going full bounty hunter mode.

The ACv2 is really what the AC should have been all along. I am extremely happy with all the improvements.

Ah yes... the drip tip! I love customization... important to maintain individuality in the vapor world! Ever since @Snappo introduced me to the lovely world of custom wood (Underdog Vape/Ed's TNT Stems), I really have been waiting to use custom tips. I found Molehill Mountain Art Drip Tips while searching for custom 510 tips. There are some other sites, and less expensive options out there, but these are hand turned and there are acrylic and wood options, plus they even have some wider bore options. My particular tip is a Crushed Burl Wood in Silver Acrylic.

Have you noticed a difference going from Ti TC mode to TCR mode set at 352? Going to experiment with it later, but curious to hear what you've noticed.

Temp control really is the future. Feels primitive going back to something without it.

SWEET! Wish I saw this yesterday to get in on the 4/20 goodness - too busy celebrating the day! - but still glad to get in on this today. I appreciate that there's an upgrade program :tup:

Weird, I didn't realize until I'd already checked out I got charged $71.60 for the upgrade instead of $45. I notice now when I log in the upgrade option goes away. I think when I logged in after adding it to my cart it changed the price to the full omicron v4 price minus my member discount. My receipt definitely says "Omicron V4 Upgrade (Upgrade To: Omicron v4 Black - 900 mAh)".

I opened a ticket for it already so hopefully @SamuraiSam will help me deal with it soon , just thought I'd tell you there might be something weird going on with it. Still planning on sending in my omicron top today, hopefully that won't be an issue.

I was going to wait until the ac v2 was separate to buy it since I really, really don't need another vape, but @THC SCIENTIFIC made it too damn cool looking with the new omicron and too easy to upgrade.

Also thanks @SamuraiSam for helping with the weird payment issue, the customer service is as quick and helpful as always.

Honestly I never really tried the default TCR for Ti mode on the eVic VTC Mini. As soon as it arrived I just looked up the TCR others were using with the Ti dual coils on reddit.

In the shadow of the omi on the box.... binary numbers that I thought might be a website because it's 4 groups of eight....

So,

00110010 = 50
00110000 = 48
00110000 = 48
00111000 = 56
But 50.48.48.56 doesn't resolve as a website.

So then I tried an ASCII/Unicode translation

00110010 = 2
00110000 = 0
00110000 = 0
00111000 = 8

2008 which, I believe is when the first omi went on sale?

Hey all, been about a month or two with my Alpha Centauri V1 and it's still the beez knees! Funny, the metal "Alpha" mode was last one I used between the glass and the Nibbler, and the Single Coil was the last Atty I used too.....I think I like them both the most! Super discrete, on my Kanger looks awesome like an ecig, and the taste with the single coil I find exceptional!

Now a reason too I haven't used the glass, is I only have one metal ring, so I always have to pull it off the Nibbler if I want to use the Glass globe part....started wearing out my Orings doing this so its permenently been on the Nibbler. Any chance I could purchase another ring somewhere? Couldn't find it for sale....that would be most ideal though for sure!

Dont just pull on it, twist it lightly as you pull on it and it wont wear on the Orings so much. It can also help break them in to lube them a little. You can just rub a tiny bit of PG or some kinda of oil on the Orings

I've already got a bubbler with a 14mm female end, and was wondering if any kind of adapter exists for the Omicron base. I really like the look of the Nibbler AC, but the price tag is a bit of a stretch, especially since I already have glass in hand. Maybe someday.

So is there an adapter which would fit over the base giving a 14mm male fitting, or maybe something that would fit into the drip tip socket of the Alpha mode solid housing? I suppose I could fit a rubber cork over the drip tip, but that seems inelegant. Any input is much appreciated.

Ive had success using multiple different rubber grommets/pieces of thick silicone tubing in the past that worked quite well. Just find some that fits well over the mouthpiece and in your 14mm end

Mine are a bit too warped at this point....it seals fine but is kinda ugly, but I would much much much rather have a metal ring on the bottom of each to minimize wear and tear, as with each time I take it off it gets progressively worse to put back on the other piece.

If and when I can get another ring though, I'll certainly lube it up a little prior.

Thanks for the suggestion, I had honestly forgotten about Ratchett's various adapters. Think I'll give that a try. Still looking for a made-for-purpose option, though. Seems to me like someone should definitely have developed a family of 510 drip tip to sintered glass adapters by now. Cheers!
