I only throw in a small nugget. About the size of a wooden match head. I heat up to the click, have a couple puffs, let the cap cool off and toss out the AVB. I think a second heat cycle would burn the bud. I'm sure as hell not going to eat the AVB.

I haven't found a second cycle,or even third or fourth, to burn the bud, though I usually stop at 2 or 3 due to flavor and effect preferences. At least that's true If I'm careful about paying attention to the clicks, don't heat beyond the click, and wait for the cool-down click before heating again. Yes, it does rarely/occasionally happen, but only slightly and never so bad as to cause nastiness, except once when I went waaaayyyy past an unheard click. A good cleaning with hot water and ISO took care of it.

As a few others have stated, the VapCap experience is very joint-like, from the process to the buzz. I miss rolling joints (though I'll admit, I do still roll them for parties), but this is close enough to get over it, and like any decent vaporizer it's a lot easier on my throat.

This is how I use the VC apart from using more bud than that, a nice puck of herb is squeezed into the chamber not to much but enough to fill the chamber while leaving a few pockets of air so the airflow is good, it's hard to describe really but anyone who doesn't grind and uses the pluck and play method will know what I mean.

I heat to the click via the triple torch provided concentrating more so on the digger end, because it's glass I can see a small amount misting occurring, once I see this i aim the flames toward the end of the VC and I get that pronounced click very soon after, I'd guess it makes a sort of heat path to the back end from the digger? This way I'm doing a a single heat cycle and it's extracting everything in one go, I inhale slow and deep and get a good amount of visible, very flavourful vapour. Once it's cooled I blow out the puck and it's ready for round two ding ding :tup:

A good temperature.

Edit. Like i usually say, unless you are using the Herbalizer that temperature on your vaporizer (whatever it may be) is probably not at all accurate. But who cares? All i want is to be able to easily and consistently get the correct results, regardless of temp.

Yeah it's probably a lot hotter than vaping temp, though the tip itself would probably be cooler.

It's definitely a combination of effects.

An IR temp gun won't work due to the shiny nature of the cap. I'll try to do some testing with a thermocouple this weekend. :science:

I think there are 2 different rubber mouthpieces. The one that came on my first OG Vapcap fits fine in my DynaStash. The other is a "fat" mouthpiece and does NOT fit. I intended that one to be a gift but as it turns out the receiver didn't really go for it so I now have 2, which is perfectly fine for me.

I got her something else.

George says there will be new mouthpieces soon, so I am just waiting for them. I can only use one VapCap at a time in the Dynashash anyway...

@VapCap -- I have a SERIOUS complaint.

My VapCap has me vaping way more often than usual. It is so effective, quick, no-fuss, and all around fun and pleasurable to use. (Now that I have gotten over the slight learning curve
