Quick social with @Ruta had me making up a glass stem today with a short brass condenser. Nice to see the vapor production in the 100mm glass. One of those 'I'm gonna do this' moments. Built to prove a point, to myself.

Today turned out to be absolutely awesome!

I don't know who did it or what might have happened, or where it came from, but I had more orders come in today than ever before! By 50% on top of it! I am still just floored as I sit here and write, and then, ding there is another one.
So for whatever the reason, I want to give a big thank you! I will be rather busy putting all these awesome things together. Smiling the whole time by the way!

Another item to communicate to all of my Ti Woody customers in the wait. I am sorry for the delay and sincerely appreciate your patience. I should have most of the February orders out by Wednesday, but here again, even for these units, I was again unprepared for the rate the orders came in. I put my order in to have the last batch machined, figuring I was over anticipating the rate orders would come in so the next batch would be done in time with extra buffer, but I was wrong. So I am trying to graciously ask for your patience as it will likely take me some additional time before the next batch of titanium is machined. I even asked if they could push me up a bit in the schedule as I asked them to almost double that order today. I really don't want to run out again. Wow! What a fascinating mental exercise this is.

So, If this wasn't enough, the next generation DynaStash, the DynaStashER just finished up its preparation for release.
Please check this out and let me know your thoughts. I am really excited about this one!

I've been working on it for about 2 months and plan on launching it on indiegogo. Hopefully they will be nicer to me this time as it is not a vaporizer.

There will be a secret perk only available to people here on FC to get in on the first batch of these for the same price as a regular DynaStash. I hope some of you will agree with me that this product is what has been needed for a while and is a nice complement to any Dynavap Vaporizer.

Here is a link if you are interested in having an email sent when the campaign launches. I plan on launching Friday.

Well, I just don't know what else to say, except Thank You again, and I am truly enjoying this experience as I feel I am finally able to put my desire to create things to a fun and rewarding use.

Cheers! :)

WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!

George has made me keep quiet about this and it's been killing me.

If you remember the picture I posted expressing my love for George in a Brick Tamland Meme, this is why.

She real purtty isn't she ?

The dab tool alone is just GEORGOUS. Love the matching wood.

I fit about half a gram into the silicone container, which is plenty for me on the go.

If I'm sticking to just concentrates I'll load the stash full of hemp fiber. Of course you could just use herb its self though, just don't underestimate it. :brow::ko::o

@VapCap There is quite a few of us over on /r/Vaporents just bumping the shit out of these. I'm sure the sub reddit would like to hear from the creator as well! You've already have a great reputation over there!

Exactly, word of mouth is powerful!

Just popped over there to see that a picture of some users new vapcap and his first run.

118 up-votes, that's quite a bit.

That may just be pushing some people to grab themselves a vapcap!

Really great development George

I'm such a VC fanboy already!
And I haven't even used one yet :haw:

I'd like to suggest something:
How about a thin bronze disc on either end of the silicone pot?
It could be etched/stamped/engraved with a Dynavap logo, and would patina nicely to compliment the wood.
(apologies if you've already considered this)

Stainless steel or Ti might also look good?
Or anodised Aluminum?

The black silicone looks pretty damn good as is though!

I'm really stoked that I've joined you guys in the DynaVap camp

I just ordered one of these, it will be my first torch powered vape. Can't wait for it to arrive! Thanks to everyone here for your comments in this thread to help me decide to go ahead with the purchase :).

In case you are wondering, I heard about this product for the first time last night in a reddit post in /r/vaporents, so I think that might be where some of your new sales came from in the last 24 hours.

How pliable is the metal of the cap itself? I know it has a digger so I'm assuming it's relatively stiff, but it seems so thin. Has anyone had issues with the digger part deforming when going at hard packed herb or anything?

In order to bend the cap you need to use a fair amount of pressure, I had to squeeze the two sides together just the once because the cap itself would pop off the end to easy, nice and easy fix tho. The digger is solid mate don't worry about that, I use the VC solely with unground, stuff and go herb, the digger breaks this apart if needed no problem but I do single extractions with it now but over heating the cap for literally a second after click then I can blow out the remains as its status as a packed down puck of spent herb :)

@djchexxx The answer for me would be yes I have.
Since I've had my VC I have used my old DD once and that was just to be sociable with my friend who 'couldn't be doing with the faff' of the VC.
I wouldn't like to say that you could replace your Air altogether. The VC is not really suited for anywhere there is a lot of noise and on the move usage would be tricky. Not impossible but tricky. You need to be able to apply the heat and hear the click.

For my current needs and usage tho it suits me down to the ground. I have no desire to go back to either of my battery powered portables and have since sold one of them. I still have a couple for back up but TBH I won't need either of them when my latest VC order arrives.

@Jazzah If it were me I would go with the addition of the longer condenser tube rather than cut down the wood. I know the OG, Glass and Wood all fit inside the tubes they get sent out in but I am sure @VapCap will stock longer ones if enough people ask him to.

Having spoken with George on a number of occasions I can assure you that all ideas are welcome and when he says 'Let me know what you think' he means it.
As a second opinion on sound and on the move use... I use mine in the car and on walkabouts, with no real issues -- I'm waiting more for the feel of the click than the sound in those situations, but the click is usually easy to notice IMO. The differences between OG and Ti have me roasting some less than perfect bowls, but it's a technique issue, and not anything to do with the click. Ti learning curve is noticably different from the OG...

I'm glad to hear it's working unground, that's one thing I hadn't seen posted about yet. I'm still reading through the thread.

@ragnorokk by on the move I meant actually walking and torching at the same time. I've found it's not technique or click that has made this difficult it's been the wind causing the jet to move around. I have to stop and turn with my back to the wind. Not impossible just tricky.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong

that is quite logic as material have different thermal behavior. sorry if you already stated but do you prefer one over the other?

Andreaerdna,
Well IMO you don't want to dissipate heat from the tip.

Quick look on engineering toolbox shows Ti being ~22x more conductive than glass. Conduction is a function of the materials conductivity & the cross sectional area. Unless you can make the wall thickness of the Ti significantly less than the glass, it will transfer more heat(assuming same deltaT).

The metal of the Ti bowl is indeed thinner than the glass of the OG. They're the same OD, with the bowl in the Ti being 1mm larger, so 0.5mm thinner wall. Not that I know what that means for the thermal properties.

How do you find the Ti different man?

The signature is very different between the SS diffuser OG and the cermaic diffuser Ti, for whatever myriad of reasons. I like them both, and I want to say I prefer the Ti -- but I am still figuring out what exactly the differences are in technique, which is lending to wildly differing results on the regular.

@VapCap the new stashER looks slick -- does the silicone just stay in via friction? I'm of the preference for one-way use and a retainer clip or wooden lip or something to keep the silicone jar in place. Maybe it's a non-issue, but I tend to have my vape du jour in a bag or jacket pocket, and things rearrange themselves if they aren't restrained. I'd been thinking of a Dynastash, and this upgraded version at the original price point for us FC members is pretty likely to loosen my death grip on a few twenties. That dabber and silicone indicate to me that you will also likely be releasing a wick, for improved concentrate use. Whatta ya got up your sleeve?

I have found the vapman much better for flavour and effect.

The ti woody advantages are much easier to load, easier to heat (multiple heat sources) and more fun to use (completely subjective, of course)

You can't go wrong with either, and having both gives many options and 2 very different vape signatures imo. You will love it, i should think.
