@Stevenski Just got it working even better with a second chamber attatchment.

I am not a man who believes in coincidence but it is currently 4.20pm & I have a urgent appointment with the .7 I stuffed in the DDave cyclone bowl. I believe I am having tempura seafood & veggies for dinner. Good thing I just have to eat & not cook with hot oil.

I have also gone back to my ghetto bastard hydratube type of thing today. I have removed the 18/14mm stem from the bong & have plugged the whip into it. It is working like a champion & only uses a little bit of water. I do fill the bottom with water though to further reduce volume.

1 day left for this conference. I mentioned this in the cannabis news thread. Watched some of the speakers online. Still time to register and watch streaming.
It was in DVR mode today. So I could backtrack while viewing. Lot of science and few 19th century scientific findings mentioned, etc. Main guy from the weed blog. Vaporizer commercials. and essentially A Cloud EVO infomercial that could have been on QVC..

I went right into the nostalgia trip and posted a juvenile pot humor video from the late 90's that was recorded on VCR.

Zeus Iceborn - If it does something enough to change the gas properties, then it might be worthwhile to own one. It does seem to rely on long stainless steel pathways. No direct water to water down the vapor. Just seems like a lot of hardware, if it simply freezes an ice block in a vapable form. I do get more elevated when vaping outdoors in the cold weather. Look forward to hearing the verdict.

FC is the reason why I bought one. I started with some criteria for a desktop and after asking FC members, I bought one in early 2015. Got the @DDave full mod kit a a short time after it became an idea.

@bkpnsux welcome to the thread. @Nugg is chanting because you got a fav among the EQer's here. Coincidentally, you are the third person who came in here recently and ask if a D020 or simular is fine for the EQ. Can we all just call this the official EQ water tool now?
Arizer just save us all the trouble and start adding one of these to the kit.

Sure, Do you think that you can have some sort of direct attachment to your water piece. Smart idea to have that glass piece anchored.
You might be inclined to use the wand setup with the water tool. So, Figure on the hose to hang a little differently with the plug arrangement with your water piece.
Which may change entirely how want your water piece to be rigged up. If I gave you enough of a visual. Just trying to avoid a wobbly cumbersome setup.

Wedged some reclaim between two elbow screens and was wondering if their was a smarter method to vape with an EQ? I have a glass nail from another dead water piece. And an EQ screen with a slit hole through the center and a junk drawer of options.

Thanks for the welcome, although I've been here for a while now.. I just haven't posted in a while.

I understand there are a few posts about water tools, but what I was looking for was more about how the particular D020 I purchased performs vs. other D020's like the one in the Vape Wizard's video a couple pages back. The one I ordered has a different type of neck on it with separate support going to the body and perhaps I'm being a bit paranoid but I'm wonder if it's more prone to breakage than the "other" D020 that has a bit more solid of a looking neck. I hope the above makes sense... There's a slight difference in design between the one I ordered and some of the other ones on this thread. Hopefully it works just as well..

To answer the first part of your question, I have the original style d020 and it performs well with the EQ. I find I like a larger volume piece though. I'm sure the one you ordered will be just fine.

I'm back again and still haven't made the EQ purchase, recently my budget shrunk by quite a lot and I don't think I can get it atm.

I've been wondering about my options and someone suggested I give the new portable Air a look.
As I've mentioned before I've owned an mflb for a while now and find myself lacking some power for when I'm at home.

My question is if the Air is a better buy than the EQ especially when I already own an mflb? Keep in mind their prices are very similar

@mecker If you aren't worried about portability the EQ is probably a better choice. It can get to higher temps than the air and offers more options.

Also, if you like to use a water tool the EQ is wonderful.

I have a solo which I love but it cant be left on all day like the EQ. It's nice to have vapor on demand through out the day.

I don't think the EQ is anymore expensive than the Solo is it? Both are great vapes but if you are paying around $160USD you should have your pick of EQ, DBV, LSV or HA 2.2 & the Solo & Air. Of course if you can find one significantly cheaper go for it but the EQ should be a comparable price to all the above (within 15%).

My EQ has been ripping the lung busters today in honour or Australia Day & I have a feast of lamb coming. My lunch started with a couple of big EQ rips & the best tempura prawns, squid & fish I have ever had. Now I am waiting on the lamb feast to begin but like the lamb I have been baked for some time stewing in my juices.

I am very very impressed with dh gate, ordered on 21st, delivered this morning...
From China, during the weekend and Chinese new year....
All for 24 quid...this is amazing.
Was very well packaged, and the piece is of much higher quality than expected, who new 4 year olds were so good at making bubblers.

Iv used it only once, briefly, and all is good...

But I would love to know how to dab with it, I got some various other parts with it. But its all french to me...
Any help???? Got a big blob of bho just waiting for the right equipment...

But what is the glass piece going into the bubbler I do not have one of those and I'm curious.

Well if that's the one from the sunshine store I believe it came with it's own nail and dome?

You could use the nail that they give you, it's just glass. Torch it up and dab away.

Or go buy your own TI nail because they taste WAY better. IMO.

I use this for EQ dabs, they're the shit. I find vaping concentrates to be a helluvuh lot more efficient.


It's just a S&B concentrate pad stuffed into a basket screen.

put the 18to18 adapter in your glas
then take the nail like put it into the 18mto 18 mm adapter
these globstyle hood left from your green bowl is a dome that you put over the nail on the 18to18 mm adapter..


*to dab..
take a small portion of your material on your dabber tool
take a seat ;-)

lift the dome from your glas
heat the nail with a torch lighter until it glows
put the dome on and wait 20-30 sec (is a kinda small nail you have to try if it stay hot enough)
drop your load on the nail and inhale ;-)

carb your session with a cover on your dome

have a nice flight

I wouldn't even heat it up red hot like that for that long.

Just as it starts to turn red you should be good to good.

But if you get concentrate pad you can stick it in a 18mm m/m adapter like I showed and wont need to worry about torches which is what I love about EQ convection dabs.

Hell, if you put some wax in-between some herb in a elbow pack it'll wreck ya. The little bit of weed just gives it a good kick. It'll fuck your day up.

Iv elbow packed bho sandwichs before, I wanted to try proper dabbing...

So would I heat the nail end (blunt), in place? On the bubbler? or heat it then insert it???

Heat the blunt end of the glass nail while it's in the 18mm adapter sitting in your bubbler.

Once you get it to your temp, cover it with your glass dome then dab it

Also it's a pain to keep hot water in it.

Also I really don't like the look of the reclaim stuff in it, what's the deal with that shit???
