I'm no longer in the possession of TOD. I've done what I promised I'd do. Not gonna lie. It sucked having to pack that beauty up. But Krazy FC deserves your input. It's only fair after your more than thorough reviews of the 10mm. Have fun with that beast of a vaporizer. My only advice is to form your thoughts now because that gets very difficult. That and having conversations. Almost impossible.
Well karma comes full circle. I dropped your slightly charred Zion in the mail today. The final Beta unit and every last technical detail just seemed to come together. All those months of Design refinement, testing and feedback by the Beta Team coming to fruition. I'm really excited to see what you think as compared to this beast.

Well I am off the keep my focus on the production release of the Zion but not to fear as @thekarmawhore will be leading the charge here for the next month or so. If all that chrome is a foreshadowing of what is about to be inked in the pages to come this should be one bad ass vape.

@HD Springer no worries mate is was fun and the shots came out great. We can do the same with your Zion if you fancy just let me know.
It will be interesting to see if any of the @IAmKrazy2 crew fall by the wayside or is he going to behave like this with it

This seems absolutely nuts. I can only imagine the kind of hits you could get by putting this thing through water. I think by the time RBT is done coming up with new additions to the Zion line I'll have a lot less money and a lot bigger stock of vapes than I'll ever need :ko:

Stopping "by sight" is secondary to me. I feel the heat instead, and then back off. There is still vapor being produced after letting off the throttle so one does need some caution. I haven't been pushing the envelope trying to extract every last drop, rather i have been emptying out in favor of a new bowl and fresh flavor.

This isn't a temp steping device, this is an all out at once balls to the walls 3 to 4 hits device IMO.

What weight loads are you using/able to load?

For temp stepping in an upcoming portable from RBT, you should likely investigate the single battery unit over HERE.
Edit: Pak seems to finish his loads rather quickly with the single battery alpha unit (not a lot of sipping time), though I thought RBT was able to stretch his out into a few more tasty hits with the more recent version. Maybe I'm remembering wrong?

I think you could do larger but i am basically using a pinch or two at a time.

I dont have the experience with the 18mm Zion technology like the rest of the beta crew so i am still experimenting with stock screens vs. EZB's and extreme elbow screens. So far i like the stock Zion screens, but would like a top lid to the basket to prevent herb from falling into the heater.

I can tell using glass will be more of a challenge as i like to feel the heat and the throttle or trigger is just a stop gap i assume and may be harder to use upside-down or inverted and with no regulation of heat on the top end.... could make a recipe for combustion. I hope not.

First impression is obviously speed. Good taste, but the standard Zion may be better for taste with more precision.

This doesn't really happen. Sure, there'll be a few stray crumbs, but the load rarely falls out. Remember, you are sucking it up into the stem when you hit it, and when it heats up it tends to clump together. My Zion is probably the one that's been used more than any other, and the screen is spotless. Well, there is the soot mark from my early proof-of-combustion tests, but nothing from regular use. I can tell you from using the FlashVAPE that even if the load sits directly on the heater screen, it won't matter. I've never had to clean a FlashVAPE screen because the load was on it, which is exactly where it sits unless you use it inverted.

Conversely, I actually find a lot of loose crumbs fall on my Zion heater screen in a session, typically if I'm packing high enough into the glass rim area of my bowl, since you're right the mesh screen does hold on to the herb well and its a bowl itself. The crumbs don't do any damage though, I just usually turn Ziggy upside down and tap em out after I remove a stem (which I always do, and insert, with Zig upside down). There's a little space between the screen and the bottom glass rim of the bowl, and sometimes crumbs can get trapped under there, but easy to get out with a toothpick or the like, just don't use anything too sharp to risk poking the heater screen. I think a nice brush should handle all of this easily

It's true that the amount depends on what and how you load. What I was really trying to say is that even in a device that is designed to heat the screen that load is sitting on, there is not enough residue or resin to require that the screen be cleaned. If the load falls out, it's just not an issue.

The heater screen is one of the gems developed but the original three beta testers. The heater protection screen is a two part screen. There is a coarse mesh screen supporting a fine mesh screen. The course mesh gives support and the fine mesh keeps fine particulate out of the heater. Simple yet rugged. Just another example of the no BS design... Beta Tested, Beta approved.

Wow. The battery consumption is super minimal. Very very impressive. I would bet one can use 20 loads easily at 4 or 5 pulls each (I haven't tested this yet) based on what i have seen thus far.

I haven't been a fan of water tools yet, but i was playing in low light and didn't have the visual cues. I feel a lot of similarities to the Daisy and even large pulls are very managable, i don't need constant water filtration.

Taste is pretty damn good on the first hit or two, especially if you drive the speed limit on the first two pulls.

Damnation. My ZAS is in full throws right now.

Hahaha that is the term we needed here, a whole new form of addiction

@IAmKrazy2 nice to hear the Daisy comparison from you, as I was suspecting. I do love Daisy through water though too... Unsurprising about the battery life, maximum efficiency without the voltage control, insane.

Anyway this could work for 10 bowls with one battery? Or do there really need to be two to get this kind of raw power instantly?

I think someone said a little ways back that the batteries are wired in series in the powerhouse rather than parallel. That means you're getting double to voltage for more raw power, but if one of the batteries was missing it would break the circuit.

I used the Powerhouse in the sunlight today. I waited for the vapor production visibly and ignored the heat. This basically caused me to stay on the throttle longer than yesterday and had me producing even bigger hits.

So far I have been a fan of using a tiny pinch. Stiring twice, and taking it 3 to 5 hits at most.

Curious how it does with a shatter "sandwich," if you have the chane to try.
