When do you think the first Grasshoppers (in BOXES!) will ship?

Anyone else waiting on a GH have their package stuck in CO? I got my shipping confirmation 8/4, and the expected delivery date is Friday 8/7. Package picked up 8/4, last activity 8/6 departing Aurora, CO. No activity since. Now it's Tuesday 8/11, a full week since shipment...

I'm starting to worry. I hope it's just delayed for some reason and didn't fall off the truck. And I really wish they used Priority Mail instead of First Class Package service. It's only about $2 more.

At the end of July they'd just managed maybe 100, or halfway through Early Bird and Holiday lists. Not a lot of people getting confirmations or units so far in August (yeah, that we know of) so I don't have a sense they've gone beyond the 20/wk of July, have you heard of a regular backer getting confirmation?

Whatever the order is, and it seems somewhat random, what is concerning is how the number of units shipped seems to still be a trickle. If production was humming along, this thread would be alive with people receiving their hoppers. It gives the impression there's still hiccups in assembly.

But I don't know. And the updates aren't really shedding much light on the situation. I put more faith in somebody who drove by hopper labs and whether they saw any cars in the parking lot. That's the kind of update that is revealing.

No, a regular backer. I backed them on Nov. 15, 2013, which I think was the first day, or close to it anyway.

Yes, I'm a regular backer. Got address confirmation over the weekend, and a "shipped" notice with tracking info today.

I doubt there were many (any?) standard backers that purchased before the early birds. Who would willingly pay ten bucks extra for the standard if there were early bird slots left?

I doubt there were many (any?) standard backers that purchased before the early birds. Who would willingly pay ten bucks extra for the standard if there were early bird slots left?

That's true but only for people that bought stainless steel. There's probably some that bought Titanium whole there was still early birds left.

Let's see, $2 x 3000+ orders=minimum $6000. GH can't afford that.

Which makes it so now that someone who got an early bird or a holiday perc after me but upgraded to Ti color to get it before the Nov 15 2013 backer that I am. Also adding more GH to your order delays other people orders as GHL will group orders to save on shipping costs.
Now in a way it's a good thing as it means all the people who want to have several GH while others are still waiting to get one are at least twice the beta testers they're "meant" to be.

It won't delay other peoples orders, if you're orders are that far apart you will likely have a separate shipping date. I did with my two color Tis purchased 3 months after my first ss, though now that estimates have moved back yet again, they both say September. Seems like they're hoping to finally start shipping maybe at a time towards the end of this month
