Did you smash the bulb or just disconnect one of the wires which powers it?

If it's the former then I imagine MFLB would replace it based on health concerns.

Disconnected the wire. Damn it's so thin. Did take almost no force to tear it. Well, it's gone. I can't imagine fixing that without tearing out the screen ruining the box completely. I think I'll miss most it's battery indication properties (I'm using glass mouthpiece, so temp control of the charge is difficult). Next the visibility of vapor even at dark (great thing is I've noticed it is as well visible now during the day without the light) and the least the battery connection indication - I already know how much force is needed for contact.

Well, I know this is not covered by warranty, I wouldn't want it warrantied for this too.

I bought a Magic Flight Launch Box from a vendor in New York and I was wondering if you would still honor the lifetime warranty if anything was to happen to it? Thanks.

It will have a warranty IF it has a serial number on it, thats all you need.

It's the 7 digit number in the top right of the box, right? The person who sold it to me said there was never a lifetime warranty for Magic Flight Launch Boxs and I know that's not true but I wanted to be sure I didn't just get ripped off in the city. Thanks. :)

Magic Flight has always said anyone is welcome to email in with the number of their box/where they purchased it. Not necessary but... if you're concerned you can email them with the info on your box so they have it recorded.

CustomerService@magic-flight.com

If you have a serial number I would think you're good to go though - They are absolutely awesome about their warranty service.

This was the question I had also .
I have no receipt , but I do have the " official " serial # on the top right hand corner .

1. So all I have to do is, contact MFLB and register ?

2. What is not covered by the lifetime warranty ? trench , batteries ?
I have staining around the stem tube hole area ? Plexi-top lid cover ?

Thank you .

1. You don't have to do anything, you have box with serial number, you have warranty.
2. Any damage on the unit that impair box work can be warrantied. That is the trench, the opening. Its like you can't have it not working and not be warrantied. Batteries are just batteries, you can buy more of them if you wish. They can get old and weak and will need to be replaced after months or years of use.

There is no need to register or to do anything.
Use your box. and cross that bridge when you come to it.
The serial number will be needed only when it is time for warranty service.....
You can avoid putting your name on a used boxed going out in the mail.
If the rare occurence does happen of a box needing replacement... that is when they will ask for the number on the box... and a photograph.
That will be how they know it is your box they get back in.
They also look at the number so that they can study the issue to see if it is something that could be prevented in future boxes.

What is covered is what you see listed on warranty information on magicflight.com.
It is a lifetime functional warranty. A discolored plexiglass cover does not stop a boxes function nor does a dirty box or even a stained screen. Common sense. Go to the link to have it spelled out more in detail.

Using my PA for only three months the internals became loose and the dial fell inside the housing. This happened overnight and I only use it in the car and dont adjust it much. I sent MF a email and Mf told me to send it to them for replacement. I sent it USPS last Friday to MF and received the new PA yesterday.
Thanks MF for a quick turn around and no hassle warrenties.

Hey Magic Flight, when do you think the concentrate pad will be out of alpha and into beta test?
Just wondering, no rush!
I wonder what its going to look like....

I actually e-mailed them last week and asked. They said it was be at least two months away, and "we're working on it -- it will take some time to get it ready."

I'm looking forward to it.

Thought I'd share something with you folks. Maybe you've never had this problem or already dreamed up a solution but I figured at least one person would find it helpful considering how simple it is. Since I got my box I've been utterly useless at keeping track of which of my six batteries I've recently used and which ones are packing a full charge. This finally became an unbearable problem yesterday when I was taking the box out to show a bunch of people who'd never seen one and ended up with only two fresh batteries and a bunch of very not stoned people. The solution hit me in the middle of all that frustration. This morning I took a pin and poked a tiny hole in the side of the battery cap. The hole is so small you wouldn't even see it if you didn't know it was there, but now I figure when I take the batteries off the charger I'll line that hole up with the writing on the side of the battery, and not line it up when I'm putting the cap back on after a trench :D

nr-cole,
I just wanted to finally post a mini review of the WPA, my impressions of which are very positive. My new, warrantied, atomic-box as I've been calling it is much hotter and more satisfying than my old school model. The learning curve for noobies has been much reduced, hits are far larger, and the MF+WPA has been unleashed as a truly viable vapebong apparatus. Even very small loads work great, providing dense vapor with even ABV with some discipline and of course the occasional shake and mix. But even with the stem and with no water, I can get hits which actually rival the Solo in density, and with noticeably better flavor.

MF has been great to me and deserve credit, both warrantying my old box and giving me a free WPA. Thanks guys.

ok Magnets

neo jobbys 4 x 3mm arrived today and slotted them in for you to have a look at.Simple enough job.just be careful drilling so close to the edge of the box and the screen, kinda weak there.remember to trick the magnets so the first set of magnets slide over each other and then lock in the closed box position..otherwise the box will lock as soon as the first two magnets meet. You ll figure it when you do it...I think this could be a future MF mod .its solid as a rock ,doesnt move and stops the lid moving when you squeeze the battery into the box...no more spills.....and you can do the ol Quick draw maGraw trick with youre box...but not when its full ok ha ha

Yes my box has taken a few knocks courtesy of WPA.all in the name of research :)

Magnet latch
Where do you live? Because I want to send you my box to do this!!! How much was everything?

Hi,

It will probably be a few months at least. We have had to move our shipping area recently, and as things go into the fall, they tend to get very busy. As such, we have not had as much time to work on moving this project forward as we would have liked. The main thing holding this back is getting the needed industrial cutting laser setup and online -- a complex, time consuming and expensive project with many safety critical aspects. This build stage for the part will not go quickly and there are a number of other things that *must* also happen before we can even think about beta.

For every way in which something is simple, there are at least two ways in which it is also complex. At this point, I cannot promise that this accessory will be available on any particular time-frame, since we simply do not know.
