Wow! Pretty sure i've never even seen vapours like that! I think much has to do with how much you can load in the transfer. I didn't have a chance to play with the shatter and budder but what I can tell you is that I had tonnes of fun with the LSV last night and I absolutely love it! I'm alot more used to it now with my draw, and it's not as picky as I initially thought. Every load was even perfect brown ABV for my taste and liking, with the ELB or even without it really. I don't find much use for the LSV below 12:00 on the dial.

SO nice to not have an auto shutoff timer! And the unit is just a tank compared to my Cloud.. Love the simplicity, and I think I love it so much because it's like a giant e-nano!

Thanks for the support guys, this one is definitely a keeper!

Wow, just wow! The LSV is my new favourite vape! Huge big up on ya to @stickstones for getting to know my style over the months, and all the tips from everyone. I simply cannot even believe the flavour i've been experiencing, massive amounts of cloudage at super low temps, efficiency, simplicity, and most importantly EFFECTS!

What I was doing last night was filling the lid of an ELB (or Arizer elbow screen, they are identical AFAIK) between .01 and .1g....yep you got that right, it's so efficient that even 0.01-.02 works great, but if you fill the lid/cap right up you get a fairly consistent .1g which is a great sized load for a giant massive hit. This vape is what i've been looking for, for a very long time, and is more of a "Cloud" to me than the "Cloud". I suppose it's the setup, I stick the cap of the ELB in the top of the M2M, without anything covering the top, and simply plop my LSV on top.

I keep the temp fairly low, but can deviate from about noon to about 1ish and it's up to the user whether to rip it in one massive pull, or several smaller ones. NO STIRRING REQUIRED! ABV is always perfect, even, not over cooked unless I pull way too slow, for way too long.

Anyways, i've never said this about ANY vape before, not even the Herbie, not the EVO, nothing....but the LSV gets me more medicated! This isn't my imagination either, it hits me hard, as the clouds are dense and concentrated.

I'm addicted to the open airflow of the LSV....most open airflow i've ever experienced. I still love my Nano, but I get a different vapour from the LSV....it's just alot more convective it seems, even though the Nano is a convection vape as well.

Now I have to go back and read all 200+ pages in this thread for all the nuances! I'm surprised this thread isn't more active? I see alot of EVO's for sale in the classifieds on a regular basis, but not LSV's.

Back in the day I pulled the trigger on a SSV (years ago), and didn't like it....but mostly due to the whip/wand, and for some reason I was getting material on the burner and it stunk, and I got rid of it fast.... but this LSV was designed for water use, hence it was designed for me. I'm a glass hound, and the LSV ESPECIALLY at its price point, is hard to beat.

First two desktop vapes i'd recommend to a new vaper forsure would be the LSV and Nano. Either one, stock with the M2M or gong, and a water tool is all you need for a connoisseur level vaping experience.

Love it. Thanks everyone. Peace and love.

I've wondered that, too. Maybe the appearance of the LSV frightens some people, IDK. But for me its as perfect as a vaporizer can be and has satisfied my VAS. LSV and HI/UD, plus a WPA and cheap bubbler are pretty much all I use at home lately, with occasional detours to the SSV and Lotus for variety sake.

I think I spoke too soon, an LSV was listed last night! lol It's obviously been around for a while, and people like change sometimes too. I sold my Herbie, even though I know it's an amazing vape, just don't think it's worth the money. The LSV is very hard to beat for the money.

Similar to you, with the LSV and a log (in my case Nano!) I could not be happier at this point. My wife keeps asking me what vaporizer will make me happy next? My answer was i'm not really interested in anything else at this point! The only thing would maybe be a portable once the weather gets better in the summer.

So how does everyone like the WPA's? I ordered the 18mm shorty, received a 14mm tall, and then they sent me a 14mm shorty. I haven't used them, but I have looked at them and studied them. Without use, i'm thinking they are probably not worth the $30 (cdn) since i'm having incredible results with the 18mm double male adapter (free with my d020!), both with or without an ELB, or ELB lid. With the official WPA, i'm not really digging taking the LSV lid off, the LSV can't stay inverted without assistance. Does the "twirling" action of the LSV really make that big of a difference?

Does anyone use the "tall" WPA? That thing is massive! Can't even imagine the vapour that would pump out from that with stirring. My feeling is that everyone much prefers the shorty. If I could pick one up for $20, maybe, but i'm prone to being a clutz and breaking shit too, especially small round things like a WPA.

Forgive me if this has been brought up before, but I had to ask.... Chinese knockoff? Looks pretty legit.

Hey guys not sure if mentioned before if you want to have a smaller loads in either short or tall WPA's,and have some of the 20.8 mm screens that came with the LSV for the heater cover. You can bend them into perfect dome screens by using a cylindrical device (I used enano stem) and they pop right in the top of the WpA for a very satisfying .1 session.

I like the WPAs precisely because you can rotate the LSV on it. Yes, you do have to take off the cover, but IMO that's a minor inconvenience and the LSV heater cover is still well protected inside. I used the shorty first and I liked it quite a bit. I had the 14mm so I needed to use an adapter for my 18mm water pipe. I also had the longer WPA with an 18mm stem. At first I thought the screen was farther away from the heat than I liked. But I discovered that a Cloud ELB or even an EQ elbow bowl will sit nicely right on top of the long WPA, so it's just as close to the heat source as the shorty, if not closer. Just my opinion.

So 7th floor customer service rocks as always. I decided it was time for some tubing, and noticed that the dark green color was no longer available. So I started a live chat, and was able to add the last six feet that they had to my order. I placed the order while chatting, and they sent me a paypal invoice for the extra unlisted tubing which I paid, all while still chatting. It was a satisfying, high-tech purchasing experience.

edit: The dark green tubing is officially out of stock now, and the short angled wpa is on sale

And I snagged it,. You're review pushed me over the edge, I'd been eyeing one for awhile now.

In anticipation of ordering a LSV I started to read through this thread. I can't believe the amount of vitriol towards 7th floor when they announced the LSV. Maybe it's a bit a historical revisionism or the original MSRP was so damn high.

Edit: Just realized this reaction is exactly the same situation with the SSSV. ^

@Tweak - I'm glad I helped sway your decision. I'm a picky mofo when it comes to my vapes, and I usually just give up if something isn't "aligned with the stars" for me. Last night I only used the ELB cap method once again and i'm saving so much material it's crazy. Also more medicated than ever! I started to settle on .05g for the loads and cache it in one rip. I found .1g good, but required one stir or tamp down. Another great session with the LSV!

Thanks @NewVape, it's great to be a part of the 7th Floor family!

I guess I did read a bunch of this thread back in the day, and yeah the original MSRP was like double?

Hey @biohacker, thanks a bunch for the ELB suggestion.

For years, I've been using the LSV with the shorty WPA 14mm mated to my 14 mm SC tube along with going virgin with the transfer wand. I too have always gotten dark flecks mixed in with other colors of ABV so I always stirred between hits. Loved the overall flavor though even with those darker (sometimes black) specks.

A few days ago, I received my D020-D that came with an 18 M2M adapter but the bubbler is also 18mm. Someone here, I forget who, kindly offered to send me an 18 to 14 reducer but I haven't received it yet so I thought of just sticking a screen inside the M2M and use it that way. It worked ok, but not quite as good as the WPA. If I vaped at the normal temp setting that I always used before, around 1:30, the taste was a bit harsh with more black specks than with the WPA, but if I dialed back the temp, the cloud production went wayyyyy down.

So after reading your posts in regards to using it with the ELB I thought I'd give it a shot. Don't have the Clouds ELB's, but I have a few of the Arizer Q baskets. I inserted one into the M2M and then filled the Q basket (only holds a very small amount). Used in this way, I turned the temp way down to 11:00 being that the bud was much closer to the heater.

Wow...........nice and even colored ABV with no dark specks at all and requires no stirring whatsoever. Very impressed.

So again, thanks for posting that. Never would have tried it otherwise.

I use them EQ elbow screens in just about every vape I own. If your adventrous, the metal ring can be removed so the screen can sit inside the glass and be adjustable. Or you can make your own basket screens like Steama did.

Love them with my Solo too:

The volume of these are just slightly bigger than a nano stem/gong, but provide better airflow IMO.

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
I always use a screen when I use the LSV, no matter how I use it. I found that the arizer dome screens fit the transfer wands and adapters I use perfectly and it places the herb closer to the heater so I have very very fine control of the heat. I also use the EpicVape transfer wand with the screen, but the LSV is so versatile, it can be used many different ways. I use it with a whip, direct draw using a transfer wand, and using an adapter and the Pinnacle Water Tube. The whip can hold a Cloud ELB so it works really good for 3+ people. You can just kinda tap the glass adapter on the table to stir the herb around. With the ELB you can hit the LSV for quite a bit. I am including pics of the LSV aresenal. (first time posting pics, hope it works <fingers crossed>)

Last night I dropped the ELB cap and ELB technique and just enjoyed the M2M. I'm assuming about loading .2ish and hitting that with the screen right in the middle of the M2M.

I used the LSV at about 1:00, maybe 1:30, and had some really tasty satisfying convection rips! I would stire once or twice to get full extraction, and my ABV is a light brown and perfect for me.

I also did actually use the ELB cap in the M2M for Budder! I used a whisp of organic cotton, plopped it in the ELB cap, and cranked the beast up to max. WOW! Had to dial her down to about 3:00-4:00 and it exceeded my expectations! I tried first without the ELB cap, and just dropped the cotton into the M2M. Even on max temp, it's so far from the heater that I only got the whispiest hits. The ELB raises it up high enough to work flawlessly!

Such a beast this LSV. Again, medicated more than ever.

The only thing that I don't like about using the screen basket in the M2M is that it tends to stick a bit in the LSV when trying to clear the D020-D.

Wow, you weren't kidding. More open airflow than the my Cloud+. I have to pace myself.

Loving the 18-18mm male adapter. I have three different ones from my DHGate orders and they are all slightly different diameter sizes, :science:, gotta try them all.

The EQ basket screens are working great, fits the M2M and transfer wands like a glove.

So ya didn't order the shorty WPA?

I always liked it but the basket in the M2M is working out really well other than it being a bit sticky when disengaging to clear but I'm getting a much more even heating across the herbs but it is a bit more restrictive than the WPA.
