I must say I always cough with my mf imo coughing proves how efficient it is and out of the 30+ people who tried mine, not one could resist coughing. The Launch Box deserves only topshelf herb and im pretty sure every one who owns a LB was able to save some money on herb after being amazed at the small amount of herb that is needed. So treat yourselves and the launch box to the best at all times and cough with joy :)

You can, but you have to prevent the hash from melting (possibly going through screen into the bottom chamber).

One solution is using a vape, where hash can't get anywhere when liquid (doesn't have a screen below the hash) like Iolite, cano medical or some else.

Other solution is to mix the ground hash with a herb, so it soaks into the herb instead of falling through the screen.

But be careful, it is messy anytime. Everytime I vaped hash in a iolite I had to clean it a little.

Thankfully Magic-Flight is working on a beta hash plate for the LB and im pretty sure this is gonna cause alot of excitement for all of us. I wonder whats next for magic flight?

Discovered this cool kit bag that has all the right features for packing up my troubles. There's a clear, vinyl sleeve that perfectly fits the LB, elastic loops for 2+ vials of reup, and just enough pockets for all the bits. The symbol on the outside - serendipitously - is kind of like the Yin to the MF Yang, I think...right side up. :)

But it's a little bulky for carrying around (as a purseless guy, at any rate) - good in the car tho, or for tidy storage.

I wish Ed's TnT had one of those hippy bags for the MFLB that fit in pocket - unless somebody knows of one to be had from anywhere?

I had the same question, I emailed them a question on Friday and haven't had a response yet. I guess I will give it till tomorrow and if I havent had a response I will try again.

I emailed them Friday night about the Warranty service via email. Didn't hear anything so being very anxious to take more flights, I used the contact form on Monday morning. I received a response for my first email about an hour later. I am sure they are swamped with emails since this product is in such a demand. They will def get back to you guys within a few days. At least they did with me. BTW, I know its been said on this forum many times but I would like to add my :2c:, their customer service is top notch! My replacement is already on its way with the added PA I ordered....

I wonder if that applies to me. Its not running hot, but I do have that annoying buzz/hum? It seemed to lessen in intensity as the night wore on... but, that can be attributed to being vaked out of my mind.

Never mind. I just read the whole thing. Box break in only.

Hi everyone, first time poster but long time lurker. I bought my MFLB because of all of your awesome tips.

I'm wondering about the MFLB + bong using the converter sold on the MF website. I've searched through a lot of posts and I've read that it's awesome, and that a lot of people dig the combo, but I'm wondering what the difference is between using that combo and just using the MFLB with PA.

Does it just serve to emulate the feeling of the bong, for those who miss that type of hit? Or does it actually produce a different effect/high? I'm wondering the same thing about the pipette/tube that is sold in their store as well.

Yeah, I got it to because of this place and this particular thread. I was originally intrigued by the looks. I truly think its a beautiful piece to any collection. These babies have character and mine is different than anyone elses.

On the WPA, I haven't had a chance to try mine, as I no longer own a water pipe. Got my eyes on a few, we'll see. A lot of the video I've seen are people using ice bongs. So I assume they do it for the comfort factor. Though, one of the things I really like about the MFLB, is the exquisite taste, all the way up until the burnt popcorn. It truly lets me enjoy the experience (though, like others, I cough almost every time). But, loaded up onto a water pipe filled with ice cubes, HQ medicinal in the trench and a long, cool rip. Oh yeah. I can understand the appeal.

It's filtering the vapor... it cools it, gives you bigger hits, and the water makes it less harsh. If you like bongs, get it. If bongs aren't that big a deal for you, don't get it ha.

I use my mflb quite frequently with my bong loaded with ice and that is the best smoking experience I've ever experienced. No coughing, just cold soothing vapor clouds. I feel like with the bong attatched I am able to maintain a super slow inhale the whole time. I only have the old stock batteries right now so I'm not even getting the experience you would get with powerex or a power adapter.

It's actually much more than that. Many of us in this forum are commited to Vaporizing because of its health benefits. The WPA actually offers additional filtration with a water pipe. I run my MFLB through a perc'd water pipe with a diffuser and ice catch that cools, filtrates, and of course enhances my session.

Now that I got that out of the way, let me say this: It makes awesome bong hits that get me f*cked up! :o

I have never used the long tube/stem that comes with the LB. Now that I have a brand new box, I was thinking about using it, but not the length it is now. I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is the safest way to cut these stems in half? I think half size would be perfect for me. :)

I'm going to ask my husband when he gets home if he has any tools that might do the job.

I really LOVE my new Launch Box and PA. I haven't used a battery since I received it yesterday. :lol:

+1000 on the tic tac box being the most convenient way to carry herb! The finest grind possible is the best for the magical mflb. One extra trick I have taken to is once I have filled the tic tac box, I sit there vaked watching tv with a pair of sharp surgical scissors and snip snip the already ground herb by dipping the tips into the box. Rinse and repeat as much as you like, the results are a really fine grind!
Disclaimer: That was a vaked explanation, but the basic foundation is logically solid

Thanks for the tips guys. The reason why I ask is that I have friends that don't really understand how to micro-hit. I don't blame them, it takes practice. But my options, I think, are either to go with something like Da Buddha as an alternative, or to perhaps just go for the power adapter + mflb + bong combo. It would make more sense to do the latter, right?

Also, is the level of stealth the same with that combo? Strictly smell, I mean. Obviously you can't hide a bong in your pocket if someone walks by. I live in an apartment with my girlfriend, and I usually vape in the bedroom, but I get nervous about smells leaking into the hallway.

My husband said he is going to bring home pipe cutters tomorrow. He said they should get the job done. I'll report back with the results. :)
