I prefer stainless

Alright thanks, I switched it to the stainless steel one too. Will all this mods improve the quality of vapor clouds on the EQ & be more efficient like the Solo? I get vapor clouds for days with the Solo but not so much with the EQ so far :o/

should be even denser vapor than the Solo since the bore of the wand is wider and there is virtually no restriction on the draw.

Ahhhh, thanks to PIU my replacement q will be here on Thursday and I'll have a free Gong adapter shortly after.
I love my DB and my portables but the EQ is so wonderful.
A couple years back, I actually sold a volcano to get an EQ and used left over money for a solo

Da Budha wand with the 18mm joint would work similar to the SSV wand?

It should work the same, difference being the DBV wand is a bit thinner glass than the SSV GG wand.

If you plan on buying a bubbler from DHGate, they send a 18mm to 18mm male adapter that should work too, it just won't have a lip to put a screen like the SSV/DBV wand. The bubbler might even be cheaper than a SSV wand.

I have a volcano and agree , if i had to choose the Eq or volcano , the Eq would get the win for me. Volcano is def a bit better at blowing bags but Eq can do much more.
And for <1/3 of the price! Makes Storz n bickel look silly. They make greaT vapes but price is OD.

Thanks @Tweak i was able to get a DB wand real cheap. Will deff report back on its performance with the DDave adapter

I can't be much help, I'm just wondering if they think you may have handled it roughly or dropped something in there?
I am in no way saying you did, maybe if you showed pictures showing wear and tear vs negligence theyll be more inclined?
No i've never dropped my Extreme Q. I actually take really good care of it. I'll even take it apart every so often to clean everything. I've sent them pictures of the cracks, as well as the ceramic dust that builds up in the water piece. That's where they tried to revert the whole conversation saying it was my own fault.

Just a heads up to everyone, if your Arizer vape ever needs to be repaired do not tell them that you've used any kind of water attachment with it. Even though a lot of people do this and newer vapes are designed for this, they will not honor the warranty because they'll say you got water on the heating element and that's why it's falling apart.
I told them that my bubbler is attached thru a 3 foot tube and I always remove it and put it away right after vaping to avoid any evaporation, so I find that very unlikely. I also told them about how ceramic pieces such as domeless nails begin to crack after constant heating and cooling, and it looks as if the heating element is doing the same (i've used it daily for over 4 years).
It's been several days and they won't respond to me at all anymore. They never followed up with a response to that email. Not even on how to get it repaired by a 3rd party (or myself).
Horrible customer service.

edit: Also I never once mentioned it was for cannabis so thats not the reason they won't respond. Basically I called them out on their lies because they thought I was uneducated on the subject, and they stopped responding.

I had Randy call me personally when I had a lost package.

Turns out it was my fault, gave them the wrong address. I felt like :shit:

Good to know. I'll probably use PuffItUp for my next vaporizer purchase.

As for the Arizer customer service problem, still no response.
They are literally ignoring me because it's been almost an entire business week since their last email, and every response before that was within 24 hours.
Arizer makes somewhat affordable vapes, but after dealing with their stubborn and condescending customer support I'm not buying any more of their products.

Still hoping someone on here knows how I can go about replacing the heating element myself. Seems unlikely but I do not want to be out of a vaporizer and have to go back to combustion.

A tip: I had an old eq I replaced but still have all the accessories, just got my new one. I also have the DLX water tube for my Pro.
I used the old silicone tube, took the mouthpiece out, and bam.......eq through water tube without spending money on gong. Seems airtight, certainly works. Try it if if you have anything 14mm

And the glass elbow will suffice as a WPA for 18mm

Has anyone had any experience with the new all glass bag system Arizer is offering? If the bag mouth piece is a 14mm i wan't it. The only downside would be my current valve stem system would no longer work.

Anyone have experience with replacing the heating element themselves? I cannot find that part anywhere online, only the glass sleeve that goes around it.

Arizer is not honoring the lifetime warranty of the heating element, despite what they say on their website. They're claiming "no one has ever contacted them about the ceramic heating element cracking or deteriorating with regular use" and essential implied that I am lying. I've had my unit for over 4 years and use it daily, which would lead to major wear and tear on ceramic pieces. I took apart the the unit and sure enough the ceramic heating element has multiple cracks.
I keep getting large amounts of ceramic dust in the bags and a bubbler that I have attached thru several feet of tubing. The water in the bubbler turns foggy white and it even leaves a build up of chalky dust on the inside of the glass. Arizer's response was "not to worry because the ceramic is non-toxic." Completely ignoring the fact that my concern is with inhaling microscopic pieces of ceramic dust.
After calling them out on their dodgy BS and sending pictures of the cracks, they haven't responded to my email.

I find it interesting that they told you no one has ever contacted them about the ceramic heating element cracking or deteriorating, as I emailed them specifically to address the unacceptable degradation of my heating element and was also treated like a liar and told that my unit had "clearly been misused and/or abused" even though I know this isn't the case. I currently own 2 extreme q's, one is 4.5 years old and the other is 1 year. As soon as I used the newer unit I noticed that it was working much better at lower temperatures (180-200) than my older unit was, and reminded me of when I first used my original unit. I have to use the older unit on higher temperatures to get the same effect. Ive taken both units apart many times and completed the glass heater cover swap, so I am very comfortable saying the original ceramic heating element has degraded.
My point for this post was to validate your point and let you know I had a similar experience, and was told by arizer that even their engineers were not able to swap out the heating element. From what I have seen with arizer (many of my friends have extreme q's or v-towers) is that the lifetime warranty on the heating element applies only when your unit simply will no longer heat up, a problem most of us never see. Whats left uncovered by the "lifetime warranty" is any degradation of the heating element over time which I strongly feel effects the performance of the unit, although arizer would not acknowledge this, as well as physical damage (cracks etc) brought on by regular long term use.

Thanks man I appreciate that post. I knew that what they were telling me was a lie, but I was shocked that no one on here was responding with similar stories or advice. For a bit it seemed like I had gotten the short end of the stick, but i guess that's just how they handle their "lifetime" warranty.
Honestly, the worst part about the whole experience isn't getting denied a repair, it's being treated like a liar. They also never gave me any advice on how I can repair it myself after I asked multiple times. They completely ignored it and just reiterated that the problem was "my fault."
Fuck Arizer. The vape I buy to replace my EQ is definitely gonna be from a different company.
