Washed out my old bubbler that my buddy gave me b4 he moved to CA and put the stem right down into the bottom of the bowl. It doesn't make a perfect seal, but the leak helps slow the draw on the LB.
I get huge rips like my DBV sometimes when the stars align. The LB shines with a little water treatment IMO, as it's got a toasty draw.

Just a FYI for others, Blissville is currently shipping with the Powerex Imedion 2400 mAh. For extras, I was debating between Imedion and Powerex 2700 (high self discharge type). I read on the Thomas site that the LSD batteries can supply more current than a comparable HSD battery. Cheers! Haven't been to this topic for a while but I got my MFLB last July. I've been using the same 2 Duracell 2000mah and 2 Sony 2500mah batteries since. Past few months I haven't been getting good performance from the MFLB so I finally ordered the MAHA POWEREX MH-C9000 with 4 2700mah batteries. The new batts are still breaking in but the first Duracell I pulled out after a refresh cycle was great in the MFLB, but the Sony is kickass! It's like it was when it was new! I almost stopped using the MFLB for a while, but now it'll be in my pocket always, (like it used to be.) Can't wait to try the new batteries!
Anyway, just stopped in to confirm that a good charger and batteries make a BIG difference. So if you're like me and aren't getting the performance you used to, invest!

Question for all MFLB users. Just curious.
With the draw hole facing you, do you open the lid to the left or right?
I personally open to the left.

Opening to the right means that the intake trench is covered and won't get material in it. By intake trench I mean that open area on top where air is drawn, above where the battery enters. Opening to the left leaves it open for crap to get in it. That's my thinking anyway.

I hold the LB with my right hand, depressing the battery with my thumb.
Its convenient then to use same thumb with right-hand to push aside the perspex screen to remove the ABV.
I find with a fresh load of herb in the trench, it would be a waste not to use a fully charged battery. It feels like more charge, more vapour.
But I was also wondering if it's better to have battery technique.
How about loading a fresh trench and using a low charge battery.
This ensures all the 'low temp' cannabinoids are released.
After 3/4 hits, the herb can be removed from the trench, crushed lightly into finer pieces, and then returned to the trench.
A FULLY charged battery can then be used to release the 'high temp' cannabinoids?
Should really try it out myself but you know what its like...

I don't know why the design isn't more popular, it's the most obvious thing the world: a pocket portable airtight, lightproof storage container with a grinder built in. Scout-style grinders are Fing great, vapeworld has had theirs out of stock for like a year.

i looked at it like this. the battery is on that side and something i usually use to hold onto the unit while servicing it. There is nothing on the left. I don't want to actually touch the cover while it's open because putting pressure on it could lead me to break it and have to go without my favorite portable toy for a while. I know it would take some force to actually break it, but i prefer the idea of starting with a good habit and then i won't have to worry about it at all!
WHen i first go it i started by going to the left, but i was holding it by the lid sometimes when doing this.

I've got the Hama Prima charger. They're 4hr charge. It confirms on the manual.
The batteries are ok. Never at a consistent high power to make you think you're vaping over 375F.
I've got seperate cheapo 7hr rechargeable batteries, and they seem to work better. Don't know what they are cos I've had to remove the sleeve.
The good thing is you can use the same charger for both types of batteries.
The big hits seem to be a new trench with newly charged batteries. Then the hits wane. I wonder if theres a particular battery which gives reliable output for the LB?
Even so, Magic Flight recommend their own Maha batteries as the best types (cos they've probably tested them over others).

As for the Launch Box though, it rules! All this talk of weak hits had me worried, but I instantly got about 5 nice hits off around half a trench. They were very tasty, very visible, and just the right kind of tickly! I'm pretty baked right now, enjoying the first warm day of the year!
I've already milked both the batteries though and now I gotta wait till tomorrow to try it again. Juggling the batteries may catch me out from time to time as I'm not particularly organized but I have 4 new ones on the way. Can't wait to use it in the cinema!

I recently got mines at Hempcon in LA after a long break from smoking and i have never been so satisfied with a product such as this. It works I mean it really really works

My batteries charged in about 4hrs and 15 mins.
I usually open mines to the right and clean the lid area that gets some resin and the plastic stem with a Q-tip and warm water.
I love the stealthyness of the device.

The "Model V-818" charger that came with my recent Blissville order seems surprisingly good. One or two batteries can be charged. The specs are similar to my Maha C204F (the manual discharge button on the Maha is a nice feature). Paying the extra money for the charger and tin was worth it to me.

Hi, just got my MFLB opened up. I have a couple questions off the bat.
Do the batteries come charged? I didn't see the light turn on so I popped a couple into the charger. Which leads to my second question. How long does the charger usually take going from dead to full? Judging by the look of this charger I'd say it takes a while.
Edit- Figured that out, nevermind
But something else popped up after my first trial. It seemed like a couple little shreds of my bud were sticking to the top plastic slide when i moved it over the trench. Is that because it's not grinded up enough?

For those of us that came from other vapes like the Surfer that has variable temp we are used to and enjoy larger hits. Also technique with the launch box is something that needs to be perfected on your own just like with all other vapes. I feel that if you are introducing someone to vaping that is used to smoking the fact that they can't see the "smoke" puts them off with thin hits new vapers aren't exactly sure if the unit is working or not and decide they aren't getting good hits. My advice is to just play with your box(pun intended if you are of the female persuasion) and find what works best for you. Its your box hit it in the way that brings you the most joy. I will say that my method works great when you are trying to get every last hit out of your trench. I believe that the higher temperatures achieved allow you to get a better mix of actives on every hit.
