The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

Tweak

Here is the one I got tweak

Im not trying to roll it & stretch it, I can roll it but not stretch it easily

That is strange, same size of tubing I'm using.

Maybe try what DDave suggested, dipping the end in hot water. Should make it more pliable and easier to slip on.

I feel like there's an insanely large amount of drag when hitting my extreme q through my bong. does anyone else have this? would swapping my elbow remedy it?

do you get drag using the same setup, but removing the actual water tool? in other words hitting off the end of the whip where you'd connect the water tool?

Can anyone tell me if it's normal that there is a slight smell just above the heating element ?
It's somewhat plastic like, and it isn't hard to notice when the vapor gets less dense.

If you are using the stock elbows ditch em. I hated the drag from eq-elbow-tubing-elbow-bong. I snapped the stock elbow so it was an 18mm straight, grinded it clean and it made such a huge airflow difference. Get rid of the puny holed 45' stock elbows for sure. I also recommend ditching tubing and just sorting a direct imput method. I used a m/f adapter with an elbow screen or elb in bottom and a diffusing screen jammed down the female end. adapter is just like a normal bowl. So its direct eq-adapterbowl-bong. Gonna be the best drag free setup for the eq ime. Still tho the eq is slightly restrictive compared to a nano or cloud.

I pretty much vowed never to use tubing again for bong connections a while ago, haha vape-bong nothing but!

It never has what i would call an 'easy' draw, and even with the fan on 3 bags take quite a while to fill up. Probably like 4 minutes.

Gonna try grabbing an SSV wand and hose. PS can my extreme q do wax? Drip it on a cotton ball or something?

Hi all thought id share , over the weekend i decided to try filling a bag. I have used the bag a few times but i usually use a water pipe/bubbler attached to my q. It's been awhile , but i ground my herb really fine,pre-heated the q for about 5 minutes with the ddave adapter on at about 230deg. put my herb in , gave it about 40seconds and attached a bag using fan speed 1 & 2 switching between. That bag filled up in about 2 minutes and it was such thick vapor. It didn't hit me right away but i finished the bag to my head and about 10 minutes later i was trashed beyond belief. I had a volcano before this which was great but i am super happy with my Q. It is a great investment and cant be happier.

@Justpassedu, Nice! 230C was the sweet spot for many many strains for me as well!

yeah Ddave def. a nice sweet spot i usually stick around 215-220 and work my way up but a higher temp def helps to fill a bag up nicely. When i am smoking using glass i like to start at 215-220 and work my way up but it def depends on the strain also. I also find grinding it up fine helps allot.

I have no smell coming from mine , even when it was new but there have been users that have reported this. You have to break the machine in when new and leave it on for a few hours to burn off anything on it. On a side note very excited , i just ordered a tornado cyclone bubbler to hook up to my q , i have been using the vapor bros bubbler the infamous and like it allot. Got a great deal on the new piece i couldnt pass up.

Hahaha!

I can't help it! Great to see how others have taken the mod and run with it or incorporated into their own configs.

A+ for you too! ;)

Hey guys, since pretty much all of the adapters posted in this thread have been removed/sold out from ebay, I thought I'd run these two by you guys.

Would either or both of these work?

Does the first one (no center rim) look shorter to anyone else? would this be better?

Thanks!

I don't know but I am in the market for an 18mm f/f adapter, so I am also very interested to see which one of these is reccomended by other EQ owners. They both look very nice, I like the 2nd one but in the end; function > aesthetics.
Nice finds!

I've seen both of these adapters in the past, but have never seen any purchased. If using the SSV, completely enclosing your herbs, then either would work well.

Also, if you want to be certain of what you'll receive, check with the seller. Many, especially on EBay, seem to have "borrowed" pics of other's products and while close, may not depict what they are selling.

Hey everyone, I started out my FC researching this beautiful, fairly attainable and versatile robot!
Anyway, just wanted to say I peeked in here after ages of not peeking and see all this activity and such.. Nugs of know are amongst my favorite so I will be greedily catching up on this stuff and perhaps be with you presently. Always a place in my Vape shaped heart for Missy Q!
