Good afternoon everyone, its feeling alot like summer down here in the south, says 88 on the thermometer but they say its feels like 98, its freaking hot yall! Its so hot out that anything I can think of to do is done near and AC, its the only option.

@Caligula I thought of adding the power jack hole but that was after the fact, the one you see above is my first attempt, second is usually better.

@Stu Thanks for the Fathers day wishes bro, I appreciate that!

@Vicki Thanks for stopping by to post a pic, I am happy to see am a part of your daily rotation, I must be doing something right!

@Vapodudule Your pieces were fun to make, cant wait to hear what you think of them, I anxiously await bro!

@Enchantre I did some digging and found a bit longer to give me a few extra inches for a Hammer stem, havent had any luck in finding a longer Nano bit, probably gonna have to special order one for it, holla at me and let talk about what youd like to do pls!

Hope all is well and that everyone is staying cool, wish you all the best!

Just got my custom Blackwood Stem from Ed. First of I am impressed by the speed at witch it arrived. When I unpacked it I really just stared at it for a while. It looks awesome, he added some notches to bottom witch makes it look beautiful and unique. I have not been able to use if yet. (Or my solo for that matter) but I am excited to try. It and I believe it will work as well as it looks. Thanks again Ed you killed it on this one like all the others. I want to say I will be glad to buy from you again but I don't think I'll have to worry about breaking this. I'm sure I'll be back at some point. Anyway thanks again Ed I love your work!

Quick question: how do I change the screen if I ever need to?

^^there's a black metal retaining clip (kinda like a horseshoe). You will have to pry that out. Then you can push something through the mouthpiece end to push the screen out.

Ed sells a tool that is great for prying these clips, but anything small and tough enough to do the job will work. Been a while, but I used a small screwdriver when I still had mine.

Ps: action (bronson), is that you, lol?

Ha I just googled something that I thought would be fitting for a fourm like this. (Come to think of it it doesn't make much sence but oh well)

How often if ever do I have to change the screen?

Maintain it well and you never have to change it.
Good practices...
  • vape the load in the stem completely, and then some, and the abv will leave the stem more readily.
  • brush screen from the loading side, then apply suction (like with your mouth.. if you are sensitve about particles in mouth, skip this step").. do not remove particles by blowing through other end... your breath adds moisture that builds up around edges.

Seren..I dont have the clip/ring removal tool yet ..but all i do is take a dental tool lol and pull out the clip by the lil hole in the clip. Then I insert a wooden skewer with a flat end on one side and shove out the screen from the other end ..theres like a little metal ledge where the screen balances on so be careful..pop in a new screen and re-insert the clip..i kinda shove in the side where its open first then shove all the way back in ..Thats my method so far... good luck!

Good morning everyone, I hope all has been well. I have been doing some plumbing much of last week, and oh I hate plumbing! It never seems to get fixed the first time around and tends to be a hassle whenever I have to do it. All I know is where I have water and where I want it is two different places, getting it there is never as easy as it works out to be.

@namasteIII Glad you liked the piece and hope by now you have had a chance to try it. You will notice a small black retaining clip/ring that sits on top of the screen to ensure that the screen stays put. YOu can like @Curiousone stated use something small and pointed to insert into the hole at either end of the clip and lift up to remove it, swap out the screen and put the clip back in using a dull object like a pencil eraser end. I do sell a tool that will does the trick also. You should change the screen as often as it begins to clog, a little maintenance goes a long way to the performance on the stem. I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come and pls let me know if I can do anything else for you in the future!

@Curiousone Thanks for your input bro, is much appreciated. I wish you well!

@Vitolo Thank you as well for your post, very good info my man very good!

@Jahannum Forgive me for the delay, I am sure I could make one for ya if you like. Have had a couple inquires for this same thing pls email me and lets talk more about it.

@Snappo Thanks for the post of the pics, those were tough pieces to make but oh so much fun, I really like to look! I may have some talent but most of the time get lucky is all. Mother Nature is the Genius to create such wonderful pieces of art, just the blocks alone are mesmerizing like the ones you post and offer. I am just blessed to be able to turn them into something people find useful. Thanks for the kind words!

@VaporsVaporizer Thanks for stopping by I should get ya done this week and outa here first of next. Forgive me for the delay its just been a little crazy round here with water!

@GSH Hello and thanks for the post, I am glad you are liking it and hope you have gotten your other piece by now, pls let me know what you think of it and by all means share some pics bro, I forgot to shoot some.

@Seren That was quick, hmm I wish someone would make a how to video, would love to post one at my site if anyone cares to make one. I just have not had the time to sit still long enough to give anything any real thought or to make a video. There is never enough time and if you know where to find some pls tell me where to look! To use the tool, I insert the point into one of the rings at one end of the clip, apply pressure on the back of the handle downward and lift the clip up, then use the pointed end to remove the clip and swap out the screen, put the clip back in by mashing it together at the ends and pushing it into the bowl. You can use the tool to seat the clip back in the bowl just be careful when doing it and try not to poke a hole in the screen. Like I mentioned above you can use a dull object of some sort to do this with.

Or,

@Reflections Thank you for your post, @Seren there is always another way to skin a cat, thank you for your input reflections, I do so appreciate it. I hope all is well your way and wish you all the best!

I know there is only a few clip/ring removal tools out there but if someone wants to make a video I would really appreciate it. As I said would like to post it at my website if thats cool too.

Sorry for not getting back here sooner but havent had the time to stop, leaks arent cool and the wife wasnt happy, if she aint happy, aint nobody happy! The wife and I are planning a minication or a one night getaway soon. Looking to go to Memphis for a night and enjoy each others company, eat dinner, watch a band, walk the streets, and just be together. Am so looking forward to that, the thought of it is better than anything, I cant even explain how much I love my wife!

Wow wow wow!

Got my WonG today, what a beauty.

The Cocobolo used is lighter than my stem made of the same wood, but the lighter colour makes the grain POP! Especially in sunlight! The turquoise inlay is really special too, very intricate and is a nice little detail...so glad I have got this piece. Looking at the grain mesmerising :D

Thanks @Ed's TnT for your sterling work and awesome customer service.

Here are a few pics :D

Hello and good morning, hope all is well out there! Been looking into romantic things to do in Memphis and have spoken to a great guy there that is a Memphisian as he called himself and told me all about what we need to do. Looking into a Chinese art exhibit, a really great restaurant downtown, a river boat cruise on the Mississippi and a horse drawn carriage ride through the historic district of the city to end the night! Should be alot of fun and a great getaway for us both. I booked the hotel room for next thursday night so the ball is rolling. Just gotta put all the rest together and figure out the timing. I cant wait!
