Replaced another stock Herbalizer bag with a Reynolds turkey bag. I actually prefer these bags to the stock bags.

Also after replacing the bag my squeezevalve does not slide up any more. Hands free baby. Got 2 more to mod still.

Less is more with Herbie. I get better results when NOT packing a full bowl.

I totally disagree with the statement. Combustion will always be more dangerous than vaporizing to me, i really believe in this statement.

benzene boiling point is 80°C! everybody talking about 200°C or so. Even if benzene is released when vaporizing, the danger have to be compared to the tar and combustion compounds which are way more dangerous.

The landscape of vaporizing really need serious studies, if serious people have serious money about it, i apply to be the serious scientist to do so.

I am trying to compile some tips and tricks for the Herbalizer. If you have any cool tricks or tips can you please e-mail them to me:

Write Herbalizer Tips in the subject line please!

What kind of tips or tricks am I talking about?

Stuff like:

Switching the top and bottom screen on the magnetic bowl to help clean the upper screen.

Using a larger diameter tube around the smaller diameter whip near the bowl to keep it from folding over/kinking.

Using a unique technique or something out of the box to enhance your session??? Send the description my way.

Thanks everyone!

The only thing I do is remove the bowl between hits to shake it and keep the fan from blowing through it, but that ain't much of an insider tip!

Do we even need to stir or shake the bowl when less than half full? I think I remember @Vitolo talking about the bud dancing in the bowl like the Extreme cyclone bowl.

I also said that the concentrate pad floated in there like a flying saucer when the fan is on... keeping the walls wax free.
While the weed will dance, the first hits will glue some of it up to the top screen... so even with a small amount I feel one shake is in order in the early stages of a session.

Almost there...
I like to remove the bowl during hits and i sometimes blow through the mouth piece to loosen the herb stuck to the top screen and to mix the bowl a bit.

My only other tip is to get everything ready before you turn Herbie on!
This beast is fast and will always be waiting for you if you prep after turning Herbie on!

The Herbie is so bloody easy to use that I don't think there is a lot in this category. I think you got most of them.

The only thing I'd add is for all of the adaptations for glass/WT. I know @grokit uses some o-rings in coupling. @letter never sent uses a 14mm->10mm reducer. (I ordered the same thing.), @Vitolo uses... well about 100 different things. :) There are plenty of other people I am forgetting to mention. Oh, @mvapes has a ton in there too.

(Also, the squeeze valve, when taken apart, does accommodate a 18mm male GonG, albeit a hair loose. That's the kind of thing an o-ring would help with (there's an inner ring on the squeeze-valve), but it does work in a pinch if you need it.)

My glass mating system is pretty simple. I used a 14mm stem from my POD that is short. I then used some silicone tubing to connect it to the bowl top. It ends up being 100% glass after the bowl.

Do you have a pic of this? Would like to see it if it isn't too much trouble

I have been meaning to post these pics for quite a while now...
All the talk about glass connections and silicone tubing reminded me!

What i have done is use some two part condensation silicone material to build out the top of the bowl so that i have a high temp silicone mould of the HT joint.
The silicone i use is medical/dental grade and is rated to +300 Degrees Celsius.
The equipment we use it with injects a plastic material at around 400 Degrees C with no degradation or discolouration of the material.

This shows the two jars of silicone material, the Herbie bowl and the silicone joint that slides on and off.

Here is the silicone sleeve slipped onto the bowl.

And attached to Herbie with the Swagger LE hydratube, very stable setup!

And a close up of the joint.

I have been using the same silicone sleeve for a couple of weeks and it has loosened up nicely!
In the beginning lifting the HT would also remove the bowl, so with use it now has the perfect seal.

I have hit the bowl empty on high with fan assist and there is no taste from the silicone!

Welcome back!!
I was wondering where you had disappeared to!

Herbie is still getting the job done with minimal fuss and time!

If a 3D printer can do medical grade silicone, you have a nice little product to market here. I have little doubt you could sell these babies for a nice premium. I'll be first in line.
