Discontinued Pinnacle Pro

Krizzle

Hi Very high
:) got to admit I am loving my Pro so far temp settings 1-2 dry 3-4 WT. Wish I had jumped on this unit sooner. Have ordered me a e nano glass adapter thingie and will be getting the real deal GonG adapter from @TherealVaporblunt once released. Now to order the 6 bullet holder and keep vaping.

Krizzle,
We are supporting the upcoming launch of simbaglass.com the stuff they are producing is great. We also have a new WT coming. Their website should be up and running in 30 days. They will start taking phone sales sooner than that. I'll keep you all updated. Actually, I'll start a page in the glass threads once it's going. They will be making all of our water tools from now on, so it's going to be a good year for our glass line!

Edit: my glass pong looks like it's going to retail for $14.99, does that price seem reasonable?
Yes.

Here's how we are going to handle those of you with damaged pongs that want to swap out for a glass pong.

1. You may only have one or the other. We cannot provide both engineerings pong and my glass pong to each customer, you must choose.

2. You will need to send in your damaged pong, and we will send back your glass replacement as soon as you provide us with tracking information so you will not be without your piece for long. It's imperative we receive these damaged units back, so there will be no exceptions to this unfortunately.

With that said, I'm just waiting on the silicon o rings to come I ordered today they said 2 days. You can all place your claims via email to thevaporblunt@gmail.com or call customer service during their business hours. Anyone who owns a pong of any sort for either pn pro or pn can exchange with no proof of purchase, al u need is a pong.

Edit: reminder, this applies to my glass pong only for claims, those that want to exchange theirs for engineerings version will need to wait until his becomes available to place claims, but the process will be the same.

@TherealVaporblunt What about the issue of the broken mouthpiece tips? Do you have a solution for this?

@BarnBoy broken tip post

My broken tip post

A glass mouthpiece tip would be an ideal solution (if possible to manufacture) as the mouthpiece tip connection seems to be a "hotspot" and it cannot withstand the heat. Mine lasted less than a month of normal use on heat settings 2 and 3.

I haven't ever seen one, your two are the only ones I know of. Not to diminish that, but I haven't classified it as a problem yet because I haven't analyzed it yet. Send them in to me please and I'll look into it

I may be wrong but most people prefer and get better results using the PONG

Great news and a very honourable way of doing it. Well done.

One question, will authorised re-sellers, who would normally deal with other warranty problems, be able to provide this trade in? Or will this be provided only directly through yourselves??

I'm in the UK and so would be a lot easier through the re-seller if possible...

Thanks.

 That is amazing news, thank you sir! Since my WT won't arrive for a few weeks after my Pro I have some breathing room.

Thanks @TherealVaporblunt :) I bought my unit from Vapefiend in the UK. If you prefer that I send the mouthpiece tip directly to you then please can you provide an address and who to address it to.

Seeing as I bought from Vapefiend, would I be able to exchange my PonG with him, or will I have to deal directly with Vaporblunt when the new glass Pongs become available?

@lookhigh yes you are right about the PonG! It's my first vape (so no backup), and I don't want to go back to combustion, so I use the PonG as a mouthpiece, and it does work well. I like the reduced resistance, and it's much easier to vary your draw.

I've just had a chance to catch up on this thread and it seems the floodgates have opened since I posted my pics of the deteriorated pong (I have a MP gone the same way if anyone is interested to see it).

Good news is things seem to be being sorted out, bad news I still haven't had a response to my emails.

Ah well, I'm through with it to be honest - I just can't be bothered to keep chasing it up.

Hope everyone gets more luck than I did. I look forward to making more positive contributions elsewhere on this forum in future.

Thanks to everyone for providing such great info on this thread.

Edit - if TRVB or Engineering want to see either a melted Pong or Mouthpiece I am happy to send you either one for inspection, I will even pay the postage from Europe. All I ask is you send me a replacement. I can't see that my offer to send them will be taken up, seeing as they already have one and don't seem to have the time to look at it yet. Head in the sand? Anyway, its easy enough to replicate themselves, something I suspect they already know all too well ;)

@ TherealVaporblunt,

Can you please confirm if CCW Tech is still a valid name to ship to at the same address that BB provided?

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/pinnacle-pro.10651/page-22#post-456087

Also can you please confirm that the glass pongs that VB ships out will have the shipper's name as CCW Tech?

Just want to keep things as discreet as possible.

I still think the all glass mouthpieces should just be sent out as soon as possible provided relevant details, for health purposes ?

Don't see why people are going to have to wait until there mouthpiece has visibly melted until a replacement can even be sent out, let alone the time international customers may have to wait to then receive it ?

Yes to all

that is not correct. Anyone who owns a pong can trade it in, weather it shows damage or not.

I'm 100% sold on getting a PNP + a WT and am really anxious to get it, but if I order now would it even be usable or would it just damage the pong? I am really inexperienced with vaporizers, so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could give me their :2c: on whether to buy it now or wait. Thanks.

I am glad you guys have resolved this. I like the look of @Engineering GonG. It's a shame I threw out my PES PonG that was damaged, but I will send in the PC one for replacement with one of the new GonGs :)

Cheers for resolving this issue guys. Now for a glass mouthpiece and to sort the cracking that happens around the black plastic on the outside of the chamber (the top of the pnp with PonG removed). I can see the PNP becoming a flawless product with these and the new GonG fix.

Mister G

Deceptively Old Fart
Thank you @TherealVaporblunt  I knew you would come through for your customers, it is never easy being a businessman/entrepreneur in what is a nascent "unregulated" part-medical field.

I know this has been an emotional roller coaster for many of you with PonG deterioration and valid health concerns, but please remember that while we have not garnered as much attention, there are many here who have used their PnPs for a long time without these issues, so it is difficult to consider this a chronic issue that warrants sending every known owner the replacement GonG, nor economically wise...there are many valid users not affected by this.

I feel doing it liberally by request is a smart middle ground for TRVB. He is not denying anyone a replacement who asks and not just sending them out universally to those who may not even need one. This is not a product recall, but an improvement measure to address a potential issue and also improve the product with more innovation.

I'm personally going to wait until @Engineering's is ready (pictured below), I prefer his solution built into the standard PonG housing than the o-ring no housing fix.

From all the negative talk here, I've actually been using my PnP MORE....this little thing is such a powerhouse in a little package and very functional/flexible with the bullet system. I hold it like a cigar when I puff, it's one of the most 'fun' vapes I've used too. Great, now I have to clean it from all this use.:evil::evil:

I could see how that would be the case actually @TherealVaporblunt
I am actually thinking of going for that option because it would result in a GonG connection which is closer to the chamber, better transfer of heat with less loss of heat. (Less air space that needs to be heated by the ceramic heater). Does it produce bigger clouds rather than the staggered, brief clouds that it would get on higher settings previously?

herbivore21,
To Vaporblunt and those still on the fence about purchasing the PP:

I suspect I am in the silent majority on the "melting plastic" issue. I have had my PP for about 3 weeks now and could not be happier. No evidence whatsoever of melted plastic on either the "pong' or the "mouth piece." I always use my PP in the upright position. I have used it many times at the highest temp setting for concentrates, but usually I'm at settings 1-3 for flowers.

I have used other portable vaporizers and consider the PP to be the best design currently on the market. It is super stealthy, super easy to use, easy to clean, can be used both for flowers and concentrates, allows you to choose from five temperature settings, and can be easily used with the "water tower." It is extremely versatile for a portable.

I use it with the "pong" adapter almost exclusively now. I purchased a straight glass stem with a 14mm female end, about 5 inches long, which fits on to the "pong." This allows me to see the amount of vapor I am drawing and also cools it down some. I also have the "water tower" which I use with concentrates at the higher temps, and it works great. I also ordered the small screens mentioned on this thread and use them to cover the top of my flower bullets.

That being said, I welcome an all-glass vapor pathway, if, for no other reason, because it simply makes more sense than plastic. Thanks Vaporblunt for continuing to improve a great vaporizer!
