next level, i get what you're saying but i don't think it is that simple. You were lucky, others not so much.

You have to pay for what you did. And you have to apologize.

Or you can just pretend you're a new player and hope no one notices... but some people did.

They could have admited when they were found out. Like i said above, i understand the reasoning behind not saying anything. I'm not condemning or judging Versa.

But... what did they do when they were found? Lies, conspiracy theories and the promise of even better units. I say that was a good time to admit what they did.

Or, don't show up at FC at all. Build your vaporizer and then show up here. After all, it was Hipi who left its costumers hanging... and that had nothing to do with the FC ban. the ban was for astroturfing, not bad business.

I'm sure many people do much worse than astroturf when they want to protect and promote their business.


That is what leaves me with a bitter taste... the notion that no lessons were learned from the previous FC experience.

I've been reading through the other threads. Personally I am interested in the product. That is all. I have no interest in the marketing practices of the company concerned. There doesn't seem to be any issue with the functionality of the vapes but rather that the manufacturer had multiple aliases on this forum. Personally I could not give a rat's arse.

Hmm maybe I remember it wrong. But FC most likely did have a hand in them leaving the customers hanging. This forum kinda ruined them.


I got the same emails as Mister G. Here is the second email.

I'll let everyone know tomorrow about shipping. We packed up all the infinity units in cases. We can show pics of that if need be. We are just swapping out heating elements like I mentioned in the previous post I made on the thread.

We are not out scam anyone. The way the forum is acting isnt fair to us. The product will speak for itself. We are sending the units out with all the goodies as promised. I havent said anything on this forum that wasnt true. We definitely have units to show for all the money people put in. Please let others know not to worry in regards to this. The Versa line of products has benefited greatly from members of FC. We give recognition to that. I have faith that these issues will be sorted but even if it isnt you'll still see Versa in the culture of vaporizers.

As far as people thinking Versa is going to jump ship...
As long as I am handling the accounts no one is being left without a unit. I promise that. You can still ask me questions and I will still answer just as lengthy as always just make sure you share it with others if this doesnt boil over.

We have more pics to share about our assembly process that we will share soon. New video coming soon as well showing use of the Infinity with some new glass.

I have not noticed any other regulars of this thread being banned as yet. So can we assume that Versa's crime at this point is in the past and related to the MW or Incognito vapes?

The only thing that ruined Hipi was their conduct, not FC. They knew the rules and broke them.

And i don't need to own a MW to have an opinion on Hipi do i? We are not discussing the merits of the vaporizer here. Just the conduct of the company.

I hope everything turns out well, i was very pleased with how things were going and i believe the Versa is a solid vaporizer judging from what we've seen.

At this time i think it is up to each of us to decide what to do. The cards are on the table. Time to raise or fold.

The positive feedback from other local manufacturers deflected me for a bit. i never did change my No vote, however... not until a real one actually landed in someone's actual hand, and it checked out.

I'm not holding my breath.

Googling Versa Heating Technology and the San Pablo address on my invoice, brings up Christopher Taylor so no doubt these are the same company as the MW manufacturer.

With all that said though, I still remain hopeful :)

According to this post when Versa went to Champs they met with other manufacturers. It would be good to get their take on it @TherealVaporblunt ?. Also the pictures in this post look VERY real to me, but who knows I guess!?

So what is it?
This thing is pretty cool. It sits on top of a glass water base. This is a vertical perc for the VersaTube, removable and 18mm. This utility design is being filed with patents for anti-litigation purposes (which pretty much means its open-source). Many of our components/products have or are having this process done. We dont want anyone to stop creative freedom over a piece of paper. We will protect a few signature aspects but nothing that will stop people from being unique to the application.

Oh btw this is what the dome screen in the 18mm looks like.

:|.... we tried to have it done faster but the glass is 90% done now... on Friday. I'll be back on Monday to pick up the rest. If you ordered a concentrate bowl guess what... that wont be done till "Monday". :mad: Its the only part left.

These are not pictures of everything available but some short snaps I took on my trip. They havent been coated yet. In spring we will be using opaque glass which will cost alot more to make but we wont charge extra for now, we will just have to take the hit. Beta participants who paid can receive new bodies free when you trade in your old ones.

Yep... Its bittersweet to me. Im about a week and a half behind schedule due to inaccurate ETA's. I'm not used to waiting this long but we just picked up a larger manufacturer so that wont be an issue. We also have a well known but currently anonymous FC glass manufacturer that is helping us out as well. Thank God :bowdown:

So someone wants to know....ok everyone wants to know.... Wheres my baby!?!?!? when am I going to get her? Is this just a bad pre-order rerun?
We will be shipping some black units this weekend or on Monday.

New concentrate adapter
The new concentrate adapter is 2 pieces and is adjustable which doesnt have the magical formula of our perfectly measured distance from the heating element embedded into it but does have the ability to be taken apart. Fiddle around with it, get it perfect or youll just end up with a concentrated 1 hitter quitter, which some of you like. In our video youll see some pretty hard coughing.... welp.... it still tasted amazing and it never burned the wax.

I am happy to be sending these units out finally. Some of you will be perc testers soon as well.

That G1
Oh yea.... G1's are going digital so youll have 2 pricing tiers there. G1 and the G1 Digital which is the G1D / G2 some of you have heard about. The G1D is as close as you can get to having a MKII without shelling out over $170. The good thing about the G1D is that it will have the same visually aided temp accuracy that the MKII has (and the cool blue gauge).

For now the G1 analog will be online only.
G1D will be a retail product.
MKII will be a retail product.

Requested my refund....... just don't wanna risk losing the cash. I don't feel great based on what I read about MW and business practices, and the fact that they are lying that they are not the same company. I really don't think it's a scam at all....I will get my refund, and i'm positive anyone that requests one will. (I have already once received a refund when I bowed out of the beta due to a financial setback, but then was allowed to pay and return back to it). Now, "Leiana" replied and said they need to transfer money from their bank back to paypal so that it would be issued early next week which i'm fine with. If I don't have it by wednesday, that is when I will initiate a paypal dispute.

I too received that same general mass mailing from Leiana...what I found disturbing is that she said as long as she was handling accounts that everyone would receive their units.....well what if she STOPS handling the accounts???

Another thing that seriously made me RE-think the beta program was that we almost received heating elements and enamel coating that are not healthy? I know they caught that, but if they didn't WTF would we have been inhaling? I don't wanna be a guinea pig to save a few pennies, if it potentially might mean my health.

Did beta testers notice the privacy issue with the recent mass mailout with our personal email info? Versa must be scrambling now!

We have no ability to defend in regards to this. Its a lost cause. They
are targeting our accessory similarities as grounds for marking a target
on our head. They are also being very sexist and demeaning toward women
not being intelligent which really hurts my feelings.

I bailed and opened a Paypal dispute to facilitate getting a refund.

I think the product may end up being quite nice. Hell, if user reports are glowing enough I'll probably buy one at full price.
But I am not willing to be a guinea pig for a company which is flat out lying about who they actually are.

Many in this thread, myself included, praised Versa and 'Leiana' for their transparency in the development process. lol. How ironic. :rofl:
