You'll never need another home vape again. My dbv is insane. Maybe look into lsv

Didn't think any of it, it's ceramic rubbing against metal; dust, a flake, and black steaks all seem to make sense as I bang it around moving it on my coffee table. But I ended googling the symptoms and came up with the big psychedelic freakout of that thread from reddit that claims alumina ceramic is dangerous to inhale, especially particles of it.

Whatever. My heating element has shed a little ceramic. I should have taken pictures but it didn't occur to me until after I made the mistake of googling.

yeah don't google too much.

surely one could wrap aluminium foil around the heating element to stop the bits flaking off? haven't tried it but might work - the heat would still conduct through the foil i imagine.

or maybe using it for 5 years is too long... anyone else?

does anybody else notice a pain in their jaw when vaping? I filled up da buddha four times and noticed a painful feeling in my jaw feels like its from pulling the vapor or something. Didn't notice this feeling when vaping cano bags.

Perhaps it is the way you hold your jaw while drawing on the DBV mouthpiece.
It sounds to me as though perhaps you are extending your lower jaw forward as you
purse your lips around the borasilicate mouthpiece.
Try relaxing, and angling the mouthpiece upwards a bit, so you lift the mouthiece to your mouth, rather than as though drinking from beer bottle.
Sort of like a relaxed loose kiss rather than a firm smooch.

Was rocking my da vinci til it blew up tonight :/ now im buying one out of classifieds and hopefully a pnp soon.

But i have ZERO complaints about my da Buddha, except maybe an an glass path into my water hence the lsv. Maybe an EQ too. They're priced to sell at 150 through vapornations price match..

Got my Buddha yesterday just in time for Christmas :D Was worried I wasn't gonna get it in time for Christmas or even at all (our customs are super anal). Payed $160 incl shipping for a blemished model what a bargain and it only has 1 little scratch on the outside which is barely noticeable! Had my first vape with it last night and all I can say it wow! :smug: I was feeling pretty damm good and didn't use much herb at all the thing's gonna pay for itself before to long with the amount of herb I''m gonna save haha. Still gotta learn how to hit it sweet but that will come in time. Buddha are I gonna get along just find I think! :D

Joined the DBV club a few weeks ago and I've been loving every minute of it so far. Especially since my first vape was a portable (MFLB). This thing heats up almost instantly, can be kept on all day, blows clouds that can hold its own in the sky and is built like a tank. What a machine.

Nice score! If you think you're saving already just wait till you get better with it! Most people notice ~1/2 less used, so it should be easy to math out how fast it will pay for itself. For me, was smoking 1/8 - 1/4 a week. Now I vape around 7 - 10 grams a month. Half ounce = 3 months. Yeah, paid for itself pretty fast for me :)

Just a little follow up on my DBV findings.

Two things I have changed have made a HUGE difference and I can finally see what all the fuss is about about vaping and the DBV in particular.

1.) I have raised the heater element another couple of mm's so it is almost touching the top inside of the glass HC.

2.) I fill the Wand and let it heat in the DBV for a few minutes before I start vaping.

Just making these two small changes gives me considerably thicker vape clouds and a much more noticeable high.

I also just found out about Green Dragon tincture and Wand Oil.:tup::rockon:

Scraped my wand last night rolled it into a one inch rat tail and stuck it in a joint.

Took my flipping head off!

Burnttoast22,
Hey guys new here and just needing some advice if you guys have the info.
Would you prefer the LSV or Da Buddha? Everyday use...2 people. Taste of vapor and efficiency matter most to me. I do have a glass to use the LSV with. I had a Arizer V Tower and its just time to move on. I've heard alot of good things about the Da Buddha as well so just curious as to you guys input. Appreciate it.

Hey guys have a Q, I have now had several 'medications' with my Buddha initially I started at around 11 o'clock but blackened my herb as opposed to brown. Been turning it down and now I'm to down 9 o'clock basically the lowest you can go with turning the unit off and getting pretty dense clouds is this normal? I would like to turn it down a bit more but can't turn it down anymore lol. I have a 220v version not sure if this makes a difference when it comes to temps?

I am not sure if the 220v would affect the Rheastat... and that sounds like the issue.
I would remove the knob...(unit unplugged)
and blow a bit (one short blast) of canned air around the post that supports the knob.
Replace the knob.
turn unit off.
Plug unit in.....
Unit should be OFF.
Then turn it on.... and leave it at bottom setting.
see how brightly light glows, and it unit comes on.
Take your time and very slowly, and cautiously inch it up... one increment at a time.
find out where the heating actually starts...
and see how it rises.
if the heat comes on immediately with no increasing glow as you turn dial, then that
(continual Rheastat) is damaged.

Nice lighting.

I almost ordered the DHgate bubbler, seeing it next to a DBV makes me realize how small it is. Thanks.

Thanks, I thought it was going to be much bigger as well, but was pleasantly surprised. The piece has a nice heft to it too. Well worth the peanuts I paid for it.
