The Pinnacle by Vaporblunt

Does anybody else notice the battery life getting shorter?
After my last charge I could only get two sessions on orange and
then it died.
Has anybody tried replacing the battery or is this impossible to do
by yourself without breaking the device?
I don't want to send it back, with shipping costs, replacement costs for the
battery and customs i'm cheaper off buying a new one.

Almost there...
Well i finally received my Pinnacle from a member here!!
I was quite surprised by how small the vape is, very stealth!
Also the WT is superb!! Joints are clean and no bubbles!

Still trying to get decent clouds from it but even the whispy vapor packs some serious punch!
Love that a bullet lasts so long!!
Now i can sit and surf the web and not get up for a very long time!

I had a dual session last night with the Pinnacle and my E-Nano, just for fun.
Had a bit of Pineapple Express in both vapes and hit both with the WT.
After about 5 minutes i had to give up and admit defeat!
This was a first for me.

Awesome little vape that will be in daily rotation!
Going to try it out tonight when we walk the dogs in the forest!
Should be very cool!

Just received my replacement PonG via UPS a few minutes ago and I have give a big "Thank You" to TRVB and the service team. For some reason my request was lost in the shuffle and I was informed a few "extras" had been put in the box for the inconvenience. WOW! I received 2 new PonGs (clear), 2 new mouthpieces (tinted), and 2 bullets!

Way to go team!

Really looking forward to the Pro . . .

I got my replacements as well and a big thanks too. I wrote a pvt email but I can't be outdone by t-dub:D
@Belgianvapor I mentioned that pages ago when I had my unfortunate issue of a dead battery while out and no backup vape with me. I have been carrying three for the last two weeks cause I am so paranoid.

Found a soft sided case for portable usb hard drive that fits a Pinnacle and PN water tool perfectly. Also has a belt loop, so wearable. Found at Best Buys and called Lowepro. Sure there are other similar cases.
Also, found that caps from tubes of replacement erasers from Pentel side-clicker lead pencils fit bullets well. Carry many extra capped bullets in an empty skoal container.

Anyone take one of these apart yet ? I pulled the body out partly but was afraid to go further as something stopped it from coming out all the way. I also noticed that the unit switches of when you partly pull out the body?? safety feature or is the battery in a holder that comes apart when opened?

The battery is soldered , I did not notice when you pull it out it turns off because I never tried with it on .
The Light inside that indicates its on slides out from in front of its window when you slide it out so maybe you didn't see it because it was slid up into the body ..

Mine came with bad clips that hold it in so it would slide out and one of the tabs broke off rattling around inside of the unit. It would slide out to a point and catch on something.

It bothered me enough that I pulled harder and was able to remove the insides of the PN and throw away the offending loose piece.

I used a Dab of super glue to secure it back into its casing when I put it back together ... Only a small dab though so it could be easily disassembled if need be .

On a side note I will say that these things are TOUGH, I treated this thing like a piece of glass when I first got it and the first drop was scary It dramatically throws the MP and Bullet out and they bounce off.

I do pretty rough and tumble work and since then it was been dropped more times than I can count , I no longer flinch as it dramatically throws the Mp and bullet out .

So it should be easy enough to replace the battery armed with my solder iron (not that my battery needs replacing). in theory anyway.

lookhigh, you will have to search for it or you can take my mumble jumble...it was something like it is a normal battery but they had to doohicky it as it didn't work in it's normal state to there liking. If you want to search just put in engineer he doesn't have a lot of posts...also it was centi that he was discussing it with so you can put his name in as well he didn't make a lot of posts in this thread. Keep the search to this thread and it shouldn't be hard to find. Just the member name not subject...good luck.

Hi,
engineer talked about the battery in thus thread... He said the batteries are "special". They are 18650 but the chemistry was changed for technical reasons, and a normal one could give problems. Try to look for the message for more details...

BTW, also waiting for my replacements here!

@GoGlass sorry for the delay. They are thicker by far but fit the same as far as I can tell. I don't have enough use on them to tell how much alike or different they are. My guess is they are just the same just won't creep as fast.

Oh tdub just keep it dirty to avoid all issues...ok that is wrong cause eventually I suppose we will still get creep but maybe not as fast as I did.

I have an offer to get one of these for $99, is it worth it? I have a solo and love it, always looking to add more vapes, price is right...kinda on the fence.

I love it for it's stealth out and about. I love that I can pre-load my bullets and keep them in a tube...I have a quick change system going. It is convenient for my needs. With that said it depends on your needs...it isn't a solo so don't expect one.

Yeah, you guys should eat that up at that price. It's VW basically trying to destroy competition to their go to vape. I won't fall for that again.

Anyhow, it's out of my hands. It doesnt hurt me for the consumer to get a great deal, so enjoy it while their inventory lasts!

For a working PN, should not pass that price up. Was that just someone offering you one, or someplace selling them? TRVB's comments made me wonder. If not only an offer of a single, would you mind elaborating where? I would snap up several, if reputable source, for gifts and for rotation while recharging spent ones, and back ups don't hurt.

Oops, just saw he mentioneed VW. Thanks for posting you question. I really appreciate the info you mentioned!

Damn, must have been too late. Can' see that offered at all except for full price. If you know otherwise, sure would appreciate the heads up. Hope you were able to jump on that exceptional offer.

It's not available directly on anyone's website, usually on ebay or other online retailers dummy accounts. A lot of companies try to destroy prices online. I shouldn't single out any individual company because its a big problem in this industry. We used to worry about it, but I look at it like free advertising. The more people that get to own one of our products the better, even if it is sold below cost ;)

All jokes aside, my advice is if you ever have a pinnacle floating to you for < $150 that's like finding free money!!
