On the Ion, I put the water level right where I want it, and there's not a lot of leeway for extra water from melted ice due to the size of the can. I would avoid that model if I wanted to use ice. I think ice is overrated anyway. I've got an HT with ice pinches but never add any.

The Mobius bubblers are dewars with an air column down to the perc. Doesn't fly with any ice.

Ice is not overrated for those who need it. ;) In my case, I am very sensitive from my throat down, and in my bronchial tubes. I seem to recall there are a few of us medical users here, some on the :myday: side of life. Makes a surprising difference. And, there are those who like ice when the herb leaves a lot to be desired, i.e., it's hot.

I get extremely dry from using my cloud daily, and I love the prospect of ice use in it, but also think the bent neck will more comfortable use which I do get a tad annoyed having to use a straight tube every day. I do not really leave my hydratube on the cloud when not actually hitting it, so I feel like I would not let it leak.. but always wanted a bent neck piece so its a tough choice :/

@Ice - lot's of MMA fans that are customers and nothing makes me happier. Matt Riddle is a fan of ours and hopefully soon the Diaz bros. I'm still recovering from the Anderson Silva KO a few weeks back but as you said, there are soooooooo many variables in this game. VXL definitely tries to take the same approach and be as well rounded in all areas as possible.

Wow...that's really cool to see you guys supply Matt Riddle and (hopefully) the Diaz bros. Duane Ludwig who now is head coach at Team Alpha Male (Urijah Faber, Chad Mendes, etc) apparently watches fight film once sober and once high for different perspectives. Maybe he'd be someone to reach out to as well?

Also, quick question. I'm going to need to change my shipping info here pretty soon. I think I will also have to pay an additional $50 fee since it will be a shipping address in Canada. Should I message you guys about this privately to get it worked out?

so white and straight, what do you guys think? i jave a bent neck ht now a evolver bub 54 slits to turbine, mobius bub, figuredstraight was thevwat ti go. amazingly like my evilver better than my matrix odd. peace white fir a difference and ill prob get a black one down the road.

Do you have any trouble clearly seeing the vapor build up in your bent neck hydratube? If so, then a straight HT would be a sensible choice.

I went with white. Dunno why.

This is how I do it when I want to spoil myself (just took this pic tonight). It is the smoothest hit I have ever had and it purrs like and old V8. The second time around tonight I will add another tray of ice to make it take the entire tube.

yeah i can clearly milk my bent neck. just wanted a change of pace. i use my third party glass more now more than anything. apix king stem to disc. if i just use my evolver ht i get irritated or taking yoo big off hits, if tjere is such a thing.lol. probably be getting rid of the king when i het my new toy. never used ice so it will be a surprise. i find my bent neck a pain sometimea and wish i had chosen a straight, i know it had more diffusion. eithervway is going to be quality

also if you go with white yoy can graphically customize it yourself. i already have someone working on a Tool third eye logo for the evo. just waiting to see the material abd if it gets hot what kind of graphic material he needs to use. its like having a blank slate. of course not block out the monkey maybe have to color him in.:)

DUDE if that will work on the black EVO as well let me know, i'm sure it won't cost twice as much to make 2 ;), i'm only half joking. tool or nin

talked with siebo today, these guys are so down to earth. they have so much on their plate right now im sure support is a little slow but in the end i think everyone will be amazed at this new unit. i know those of you who havent been called yet are itching, itll come, in the mean time figure out what you want.lol

i can get you a design sd haze i know were apix pals.lol. get a design you want and ill have him work it up. said e can even do it in heat sleeves. imagine the third eye logo hologramed eye moving, wheew. always hapoy to help. gonna have to get final specs from siebo

I chose black and bent! Ice sounded good but if needed I can always put it in anyway.

Just got the mail and thedecision is not any easier or more solved than before. I think I just like both colors the same, yet I can get only one and even noone know how they will exactly look.
I have few cons&pros in my eyes:
Black: stealthier, all single color, better background for clouds
White: Possibly even cooler to touch, nice combo of white/black, not gonna count in it's been unlocked

Yesterday I was leaning white, now I am back to the black. I think I will finally choose black.

So honestly I'm not sure which HT I'm getting for 100%

This is what I wrote in the ticket :

"I would like a black one. If the bent does not come with ice pinches then
ill grab the straight"
