Good grief, not "HP". For numerous reasons.
CloudER is too clever by half, and clunky.
CloudXL works OK. It might even work for the current new unit. Except, adding an "XL" is rather common and pedestrian; it implies incremental added value not revolutionary advance.

On a side topic (or maybe not so side topic) because of the fact that many new "vaporizer" companies are popping up daily (and taking up lots of names) due to the low barrier to entry to get in the market, we were tossing around names for one of our future vapes and wanted to get everyone's opinion on this one...

i agree that HP has other neg. associations, but i like the higher primate itself,
the XL would have size associations so if it's bigger yes, if smaller, no?

HP LOL! I know there are some negative connotations with that acronym... what if you just think of it as the "Higher Primate?"

I like the VapeXhale Higher Primate for a name candidate. I'm five days into owning my Cloud+ and my next paycheck can't come soon enough to hop on The Eagle. I wish I could be the one to push it over $50k, but it will be a week or so still. I know it's been said many times, but I can't believe how effectively a small fan next to the unit keeps the shell cool. I love how efficient the Cloud is, but I'm having too much fun loading ELB after ELB.

Hi everyone. Im not sure what I should do. I want to donate at either the 350 or 500 dollar level. Im just hesitant about not having any specs or reviews on the glass it would come with. if it came with the hydraline I would donate immediately. From all the reviews i've read here that one seems to give the best performance. I don't have any glass and I would be nice to only have to spend $500. The $350 option and a separate hydraline would cost me $630. but if the mystery tube turns out to not be as good i'm going to want to buy the hydraline anyway and spend even more money.

Just pulled the trigger on the $250...way too good of a deal to pass up!

My Cloud has been ticking along beautifully for the past year with no issues at all!
Looks like she'll be a nice back-up for the new Eagle? (Still not a fan of the name but, oh well)
I definitely don't wanna :horse:
Congrats on getting to $50K...it's gonna be another fun ride :rockon:

Why don't you just do the $500 and if you don't like the tube trade it for a hydraline? Or sell it to purchase a hydraline? I believe you should be able to get around $200 at least for the HT?

tonio145 - we have narrowed it down to 3 styles right now and I can guarantee you, whichever one we choose, if you don't like it, anyone with a HydraLine would gladly swap it out for this limited edition HT

ok well in that case I will go with the 500 option. Im not doubting that I won't like the tube it comes with. Im just a little obsessive and wanted the best possible setup right away lol.

Do what I do and come home for work so stressed day after day after day and become much more pleasant to be around after a cloud session. Your girl will start insisting you use the cloud. Mine does.

Yea if I knew what the hydra tube was id probably throw an extra 250 in for the 500 dollar level

You could portmanteau it into Highmate. Less-obvious simian connection that way but the result is still a good name for a portable, I think. Four syllables is just too clumsy to say, and is more of a slogan or catchphrase than product name.

Or how about The VapeXhale A.P.E.? (Advanced Portable Extractor)

CloudR or Cloud R gives you the same pronunciation but will also, for a lot of your main demographic, evoke mental associations with performance by piggy-backing on Honda's "Type R" branding, and the various other uses of the letter in the motor industry to denote race versions of vehicles, etc. The R could stand for "Rebirth", "Reboot", "Revive", "Renew", etc. Plenty of great options.

VapeXhale Cloud NINE (New Internal Nimbus Engine) <-- If you could somehow use it for Project Nimbus :p

Or more generically useful versions:

VapeXhale Cloud NINE (Nice Inhalations, Nice Exhalations)
VapeXhale Cloud NINE (Now Inhale Now Exhale)

Yay contrived acronyms!
