I have been testing a beta unit, with the new heater exchanger and firmware, for a couple weeks, side to side with the old one.
The new air flow is massive. You can finish a load even faster than before.
It gets heated up much quicker. It also cools downs from red to blue like it should, every problems seems to have been fixed, while there is still space for improvements and new features.
Same but better in any ways. I packed up my old unit for update. They seem to be very busy I had no news for a while and that usually means stuff coming up
The new cone is good yeah, perfect seal and convenience, I can't wait to see them listed in the shop.

Very interesting. Air flow could be a bit better, but the miniVAP is still my favorite vaporizer.

I have to agree on that Roger D, and all of my friends, not one excluded, will back me up.
Have been enjoying it ever more without water, and have been looking into stretching my sessions by starting of low temp and working my way up...had a bowl that lasted for over 25+min, weighed it at 0.13g...okay after a few minutes the taste was gone, but the popcorn taste one gets from for example an arizer solo was lacking.
Roger, please keep us informed as to the updates. I am also looking forward to a smaller battery pack. This would make the vape less conspicious and easier to use in public.

I guess we share the "free flow" version, with even more coming up that's exiting ! One of my units is currently in the MV shop, since a week or more, I should have news soon
Yes it's so much better to load small bowls, but recently I screwed up the conservation part lol, I just chain them like rounds

cool vids Roger, I can clearly see the difference in restriction of the draw (by looking closely ad how much bubble action is going on with the vap attached) and it seems you are now filling up your waterpiece with vapor a lot quicker ( Iguess a result of better airflow/heating?)

So is there anybody who knows more about these updates? I have mailed jorge about it, but have not recieved any answer(this has been over a month ago).
I for one would like to know if we can apply for the update? personally, seeing I only bought the vaporizer like 3months ago, would like to think they will 'keep us in mind' so to speak. Would not mind paying a bit extra to get the updates implemented and would not mind paying a bit extra if that also means the warranty is set back to new, aka you get your full warranty starting after the update?
hope someone can give a clue and or answer to some of these questions.

I have been waiting for almost a year now for those answers as well. Do not hold your breath waiting for those answers. At one time we had a representative of a US distributor lurking here who would respond to questions. But that was a long time ago.

So please excuse me for not reading through the entire thread yet, but I have a q re how this works. Does it somehow decarb as it vapes to provide a more complete dose?
To put it another way, is it still worth re-processing/consuming the ABV from this vape, or is the potential potency left in the ABV from the MV greatly reduced?

if you've said so earlier tweek i could have kept those i've recieved with the testing device. there where a bunch included i didn't use. would have send you one for free, but i've already send all of them back, unfortunately. i guess they throw them away, anyway
Guess they no longer offer the discount? Too bad, it was a good deal. I think its free shipping from minivap. It was at one time.
If Minivap is reading, an FC discount is always appreciated

it is 519 but i was going to get the adapter so i can use it plugged in while at home anyways thanks i hate having this problem where i want every fucking vape i see and i cannot rest till i have tried them all. im hoping the minivap can cure my illness but i doubt it

I'm in the same boat tig, I am just getting back into vaping after a few years off and the scene has exploded. I'm like a (really obsessive) kid in a candy store going broke quick. If I could have applied their current coupon code (summer13--supposed to be good until the 13th but doesn't work on this) on top of the $519 price, I probably would have pulled the trigger myself!
