Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

I'm still awake, still Clouding, I can't stop....

The god-awful taste and smell seem to be going away, either that or I'm just way too high to be able to tell.

This might sound silly, but the Cloud has given me a totally different perspective on vaporizing.

Zut alors, this fucking thing is incroyable! :o It's a total game-changer for muah.

I just now zoned-out just staring at it, and I got a half-chub just from that.

I honestly can't find anything I don't like about it.

And to be completely honest, I thought a lot of you guys were just fanboys, but now I'm a believer! Not a trace of doubt in my mind! I'm in love, ooooooooooo, I'm a believer, I couldn't leave Cloud if I tried!

I'm on Cloud nine. I'm gonna see if I can break the space–time continuum with this next rip and vape an entire bowl in one hit. :whoa: If I don't make it back, tell my mom I love her.

I see why people love this thing so much now.

If this bad smell/taste goes away, this thing will be damn near perfect.

Fantastic job, VX!

The bad smell/taste already seems to be dissipating. I'm leaving it on max for awhile.

So my initial impressions, this thing is fabulous.

The PHS is incredible and not a gimmick, and is the best thing about the Cloud, IMO. The Cloud is so easy to use. If you can't properly use the Cloud, then you're either brain-dead or one of Stu's friends (http://tinyurl.com/arxddlb).

not to mention all the stirring, stirring, stirring, stirring, stirring. With the Cloud I can turn my brain off and just vape.
I'm so feeling that one as my VB2.0 gave me a taste of that....hell I'll just come out and say it made me feel too much like a druggie gettin his fix on...ha ha
And the ABV gets dark, dark brown, evenly all over, without even stirring! Fantastic! I actually don't see why you would ever really need to stir it, unless you don't grind up your herb finely. It seems just taking it out and shaking it would suffice, and has. I'm also not questioning whether or not I got my herb completely vaped or not. Every time I have dumped my ELB it has been dark dark dark brown. Me likey. I'm so glad I don't have to stir anymore. With the SSV I was stirring every hit, and my bud never vaped evenly, consistently, or completely. That's not an issue with the Cloud.
I'm in tune with you there....peace of mind I also enjoy now from the XP....
I also love how short and direct the passage is from the chamber to your mouth. Shorter passage way means less time and area for your vapor to lose potency from the goodies attaching their selves to the walls of whatever apparatus you're using to inhale from, in my case the VX glass mouthpiece.
again another I'm in agreement with...and again something the Cloud & XP have in common....interesting
I'm actually pissed I didn't get one sooner. This is what I was originally looking for in a vape - all glass passage (well, except the ELB), versatility, a system that prevented accidental combustion, direct draw, a vaporizer that would evenly vape the bud all over and consistently to a dark, dark brown, and something else that I just now forgot about.

The PHS is the best thing about it though, IMHO.

Okay, I'm too high to write anymore. Each sentence is taking an absurd amount of time to complete.

If this bad taste/smell goes away, then my Cloud will be damn close to perfection.
Not liking this issue at all...especially since you are tasting it logic suggests.....just hoping things are good {safe} after the burn off is complete...and exactly how long should that be? The XP folks used a clove oil I think to help preserve the heating element {read on FC thread} so members were performing burn offs...I used some ABV and did it only 3 times on 5 and she was smell free after that {18min}
Only other vaporizer I could see being better then this would be one that worked like a bubble machine. One you could put as little or as much herb as you would like and then it would produce bubbles filled with super thick dense vapor. So you could put like a quarter in there and make an entire room fill up with vapor bubbles. And the bubbles were magical and never popped. Any time you would want a hit, you would just grab a bubble, put it up to your mouth, and inhale. The bubbles also kept the vapor magically fresh no matter how long they floated in the air. And the bubbles would do dances around the room, and bump into each other. Then you could turn off the lights and set up some different colored lasers in your room that were timed to the rhythm of whatever song you were playing. Yeah, that vaporizer would be badass.
NICE...... I remember my 1st BUZZ too.......although it was a very long time ago.....
Listen if you ever find yourself down in SW Florida you might consider {typically Fri/Sat} catching the sunset behind the Naples Ritz near the para sailing hut...you'll find a group of people usually listening to music or playing Volley Ball/Horse shoes and ask for "Chuck Norris" {1 of my aliases} ha ha long story...if your around enough you end up with a nickname...lol cheers....
Edit: @ Old School

I was in the same boat as you, really wanting a Cloud, but hesitant to pull the trigger because it was a brand new product, company, and they have had some reliability issues with some of their units and their manufacturers, along with their current new trouble/problems
I know right... definite concern....
But these guys are clearly making a vape for the vape connoisseur which, ironically enough, makes it perfect for the average schmo. It seems they actually care about what they do. This gotta be the most versatile vape. You can hold it, put a wand-like mouth piece on it, or a bong, or actually attach it to a completely different vaping tool, upside down, side ways, up right. And the coolest thing is all that is easy to do. There's nothing complex or difficult about it. There is literally no learning curve to this thing
I'm there already the praise of this things performance is what keeps me here......
But if you're anything like me, if you wait, once you eventually do get it, you're going to be pissed you wasted all that time, which, in your head, is going to correlate to you thinking you wasted bud, or at least it does for me. My SSV didn't get my bud nearly this dark brown, and when it did, I really had to work for it, and I was always concerned whether or not I was extracting all the goodness. With the Cloud, I have peace of mind, and that's the best thing about it. That and the PHS.

Main thing is you want a backup vape, which it looks like you have.

So TRUE so TRUE... it would play out very similar to that.. if not exactly... Funny thing yesterday I was thinking maybe the prices might drop on these, but here today I'm thinking wait just a minute here what if the pendulum swings the other way and they become extinct... difficult to get your hands on...
Things that make you go .....Hmmmmmmm

Okay, so now I have my main driver (Cloud) and my backup desktop unit (SSV), now I just need a portable one, which I think is going to be the Ascent if it out performs the Solo.
Listen.... Thank You for you extremely helpful nudge....big time.....
BTW love the down by the river bit w/Mr Candy....great.....one might say I sorta adopted it..somewhat but for me it is down by the ocean...lol

I'm tellin' you, my Cloud is so good, I might sell my SSV just to have a backup Cloud.

It's the only thing I've been thinking about ever since I've gotten it. You know how they say guys think about sex like every 60 secs or something? I think about the Cloud on Planck time. With every tP that goes by, I think of my Cloud.

I don't think anything is going to come out for a while that will be better than the Cloud, except for maybe a Cloud 2.0 Dude, I totally think you should get it, and I usually don't recommend stuff to people. It's the only vape out that I would recommend to a heavy combuster. Heck, it's the only vape out I would really even recommend to anyone that hasn't vaped before. I think it's the perfect vape for someone who has never vaped before. It's just so easy, laid-back, and chillaxed. Coming from combustion, you can get combustion-esque hits, without worrying about a noobie igniting it, or not being able to know how to hit it. It's easy-peasy.

Relaxing, perfect ABV, not much maintenance or cleaning, you can be 100% distracted and still get perfect rips out of it, it's all glass, the most versatile thing out, and a freakin PHS system that basically does all the work for you. This thing is retardedly good.

If you get it and don't like it, nah, if you get it and do not make it your main driver, I'll... I'll do a cinnamon challenge.

If I ever go to FL, I'll have to hit you up. Last time I went down around that way I ended up in Myrtle Beach for an entire week and didn't pay for a hotel room not one night. It was pretty wild.

Listen.... Thank You for you extremely helpful nudge....big time.....

No prob, Bob.

BTW, I think you're confusing Chris Farley with John Candy. :p

Well, I just dosed an Ambien and took a hit off my Cloud and things are starting to get weird.

I'm outty 5000!

Since I came to VXL through connection SM and I have had in forum. I just wanted to chime in here guys.

First and foremost I have no desire for sympathy. I feel the effect that these situations have on our customers to be unacceptable. I have greater expectations for customer service then VapeXhale is currently providing.

I went to school for entrepreneurship. From a very young age I had the desire to start my own business and to create value for others. Started with cutting lawns at the age of 12 which led to a landscaping business that paid for my college.

Then in College I was a serial entrepreneur with my peers and created several businesses. Some failed and some succeeded but it all primed me to be very good at business development and innovative entrepreneurship.

VapeXhale by has been my favorite experience thus far. That is because the VapeXhale team is a very synergistic and group that I feel privileged to be apart of. I also feel lucky to be able to have a chance to change the Vaporizer industry for the better! (Something I'm personally passionate about myself).

BTW ~ on the customer service system if any of you don't know I'm Phil. I want to apologize to everyone if you guys have trouble getting a hold of me at times, or if possibly I seem distracted on the phone.

My responsibilities for VapeXhale stretch far beyond customer service. I'm am the operational director I have several hours a day where I need to be on the phone with other internal members of the team to handle our manufacturers, vendors, distributors, and many other responsibilities.

I do work very long hours and I wish there were more hours in the day so that I could spread out the day to day work so that everything could get more of my attention. But the fact of the matter is there is not.

I know this news has upset many people, just as it has myself. But I do promise this. Since a young age I embrace adversity. I do my best to use it as a catalyst to come back stronger and in the end gain from it.

VapeXhale will get ourselves out of this and then we will bring on more people to help support me our customer service team. So that it lives up to my expectations, and this great community gets what it deserves.

Wonderful little statement Troi. I know things will settle eventually and VX will be expanding with all departments firing on all cylinders. This company is still very young, with a very bright future ahead. Cheers all, beautiful day here in Metro Detroit and my forcast is calling for Clouds.

I use an Arizer Elbow Adapter that came with my Extreme Q. An ELB fits in it perfectly. Add a foot or two of tubing and use it like a vacuum cleaner to suck up your herb. If you don't have one they sell for around $9 at various sites that sell the Q. Here's what it looks like w/out tubing or the ELB inserted. I know someone has posted a better photo but this should help.

Nice Idea for sure....Listen I was wondering if I might be able to get your thoughts on why you retired your EQ...? Primarily if the Cloud + showed up and the EQ just never got used again or maybe just once but it just simply can't stand up to the power of the Cloud....?

It has been months since I have sat back and read almost every post in this thread as they go by. Without quoting anyone let me ramble for a bit as i sit in my backyard and take in a little sun after some nice Clouding.

@ Meremoth. Hey youuuu Guuuuuuuuys. I wanted to say that so bad, then realized you already had. Damn. I had very similar thoughts and feelings on the SSV/LSV vs. The VXC as you did. At one point i compared the VXC to the LSV/VHW and the old Magic Wand. Truly all feel like a chore after the ease of use the Cloud. This is simply speaking on ease of use, and not even considering that the VXC is just damn better at delivering the goods. I used to buy new vaporizers every month or two. Since i got my first non-beta VXC i have purchased a lot of glass, a backup VXC, and the Zeph Ion to protect my Cloud from drunks and degenerates.

It is my opinion that one of the major contributors to the smell is the protective finish that is applied to the center metallic piece of the unit. I should've posted about this a while back but BE CAREFUL not to get any D-limonone on that silver-colored part of the cloud. I tried using it once to remove a spot of resin that had leaked out from 2-capping, and the limonene ate right through some kind of glossy-like finish that was on top of the cloud.

Right away my cloud smelled like rubber/plastic/oil and it was coming from that spot because the D-limonene dissolved the finish. It sure removed the resin stain! :D

Now I have this little spot on the top of my cloud where the metal is rough feeling rather than smooth. If I run my fingernail over the top, I can feel the brushed metal strokes on that bare spot, but everywhere else feels smooth. I had to wait a weekend with my cloud constantly being turned on for that smell to go away again.

So I think there is some kind of enamel like protective finish on the inner metal part and this takes a while to fully cure. Heating will probably speed the process. Newer units might smell much more if they were just manufactured recently.

For loading ELBs I made a little device using a glass vapor hose adapter, some tubing, and an HerbalAire mouthpiece. Vacuuming medicine into the ELB is the way to go for me . . .

I use this method as well thanks to your original recommendation awhile ago in this forum. I highly recommend using a large four piece Santa Cruz shredder as well. I grind up a nug and then use this tool to suck up the herb into an ELB. No mess and no loss of kief because it is all stored the grinder.

I do not personally use the suck method, but my guess is either you have terrible allergies, or there is quality issues with the plant material being used. this is merely speculation. For me its simply easier to drop in a little off my tray.

Vacuuming I like this idea very much.. in fact my thoughts are that should SM and the gang find a new CM or even becoming their own manufacturer {that can be time consuming} they should consider adding a similar such tool for loading your ELB because at that point they would really live up to there name "easy load bowls" there just couldn't be too much cost involved to find a tube that could accept the ELB then another said smaller tube to slide in under the ELB and there you have it cheap and easy.

And as an added few welcome back items....lets have our light serve a purpose again {+ again}...oh and maybe it doesn't have to click but maybe something cool like 5 bars that progressively indicate the temperature is coming up or 5 small LEDs right under the knob {which needs to go back to the black knob} or possibly as simple as re-using the light and have it change from red to yellow/amber to green {+ again} and slap all of that with a nice welcome back thx for waiting FC discount and I would say....."NOW THATs what I'm TALKIN about"
If that is what lays ahead not only would I buy 1 but I could so justify ordering a backup as soon as humanly possible.

So easy and so similar to the Solo/UD technique I was missing.
Second time an FC member(may have been T-Dub the first time as well, glass bowl+small silicone tube=UD GonG?) has come up with a great solution using beautiful bowls I have no use for.
Thanks again T-Dub!

@Live-n-Learn
I believe T-Dub has bent his hose and placed it in a retaining cup of some kind as a holder.

@Ictus
Haven't had your issue but if you haven't already consider placing a sheet of tissue paper between the mouthpiece and your lips. Separate the tissue so you only have one layer.

I want to try out the same hot chocolate milk trick to clean my cloud buddy and then drink the Chocolate. It worked well for my Solo stem but I don't use my solo enough to get the nice golden honey buildup. Are there any tricks to making the cloud buddy get dirty faster and buildup the yellow honey from the vapor? I put my cloud on the outer edge (more dangerous :o) but having the vapor cut around corners makes the buildup faster. It seems to build up better when the glass is warm but would misting it with water help make it stick better? The solo stem milk chocolate trick really made a nice relaxing Saturday. I can only imagine what a cloud buddy after a few weeks or even a month of buildup would be like.

I know this has been said before but i was just asking for someone to reconfirm.
I had the vapexhale cloud with some friends (1 who hadn't used it)
i explained to him the whole ELB method and how it's packed into these little bowls.
next minute i turn around and he's about to pack green into the vapexhale cloud itself!
i stopped him just in time but the tiniest bit dropped in the cloud and combusted.
I turned the cloud off and blue out the smoke but can this seriously fuck up the cloud?
It was the tiniest bit but the red combustion scared me.

To give you a quick answer, no, I don't think what happened will fuck up your Cloud. It may mess with the taste for a while and that's why you may want to clean it. I've never cleaned my bamboo so I'm not expert on that and I'll let others get into cleaning options if you want to pursue them or you can do a search. I vape at lower temps and don't have any glass that requires inverting the Cloud so it seems to stay pretty clean.

True, having a vaporizer sit on top of a nice peace like a mobius is a worthy trade off though instead of having a slightly cleaner bamboo.
Thanks for advice though. Should be fine. Don't notice much difference in taste.

Update!

The funky/nasty bad taste is almost completely gone. There is only a tiny hint of it left.

I cleaned the top glass part with a qtip and iso. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

The SSV really does feel like a chore/work compared to the Cloud.

Here's probably the greatest difference for me. If I ever tried to get my herb as dark as the Cloud gets it with the SSV, I would end up combusting. Not to mention I would really have to pay attention to how I was hitting it, and even if I did everything perfectly, it would still get no where as dark as the Cloud gets it.

The fact that the Cloud can turn your bud black without combusting is truly remarkable and the best thing about it. It's so fucking efficient. You know you're getting absolutely everything out of your herb, which is great for someone like me that's really OCD about that kind of stuff. I kind of feel like I wasted a bunch of flowers with my SSV.

I'm sitting here looking at a bag of my ABV that's from my SSV and it looks totally different from the ABV from the Cloud. The Cloud ABV looks like a velvety, smooth black. The texture of it even looks different. The SSV ABV is more of a grainy, rough brown.

I get retardedly high off of every hit with the Cloud, without even trying. With the SSV, not every hit was the same; they weren't all equal. And I pack the tiniest little amount in the Cloud. Less than I did in the SSV and I get more quality hits from the Cloud.

Oh and the lack of drag is another fantastic thing about the Cloud. So much drag on the SSV. To get a decent hit, your lungs had to work really hard for it. The Cloud feels as easy as just breathing. You just breath in the vapor. You don't suck, you don't pull, you don't hit, you just breath it in, at least with the VX Glass Mouthpiece.

I know I keep comparing it to the SSV, but that's the only other vape I have ever used. I'm not trying to bash on the SSV or anything.

Still thinking about getting a HT, but to be honest the VX Glass Mouthpiece is so fucking good I don't even feel the urge to get a HT.

I truly think everyone should own a Cloud. I think there should be government funded plans to give everyone in the world a Cloud. I know I'd rather my tax dollars go towards that then most of the stuff it goes to.

Damn Meremoth went nuts but I think I like you lol and with that sloth from goonies avatar I couldn't stop laughing lol

You know how when you get really intoxicated, or when you spend a lot of money on something to justify it in your head, or when you get anything new, you can get overly passionate about something that you normally/calmly/logically wouldn't be that enthusiastic about, then the next day you wake up and remember how you felt the night before, and you just don't have that same feeling or fervor...

Well, I can assure everyone this is not the case. The Cloud is the fucking shit. The bomb-diggity. The
crème de la crème!

I was thinking about getting a portable vape, but think I would just end up disappointed now having used the Cloud. Maybe, one day, VX will release a portable Cloud. I wonder if that was one of the future plans they had that that asshole manufacturer gave away to a competitor? Whoever that dude is, he needs an ass whoopin'. :goon:

Check this out. I'm so high right now off the Cloud I almost couldn't type that last sentence. I feel so passive and non-aggressive/non-violent right now. I don't think I could even hurt a spider right now, and I can't stand spiders. :peace:
