Huh, did i miss something? I thought Vapexhale Cloud was releasing internationally on 4/20.
I checked the website and they still don't offer shipping overseas. Where are you getting them from?

They are direct from VapeXhale. I don't think I can really give any other details yet, I'm waiting on permission from vtac. But I guess I can say that the 4/20 release date is an official launch date, but I believe VapeXhale are working hard to get the product to international retailers before that date.

Anyway, I finally got my Cloud Plus after waiting almost 2 months. First off the bamboo on mine is far too low and therefore the metal sits slightly on glass that have recessed joints and also doesn't make a perfect seal which then produces wispy vapor. This Cloud also runs way cooler in my opinion. My previous Cloud got hot to the touch after being on for a while, yet Cloud Plus only gets warm, the silver metal still gets hot though. I run mine on max and it does give off thick vapor. Oh and about the green light, I dont go by it at all and do my warm up of atleast 10 minutes.

Overall, I am happy to have my Cloud back. It still is my favorite vaporizer, however I prefer my Older Cloud.

Your post is making me want to cancel my order before it ships :( My only hope is that your warranty replacement Plus is from a different stock than their current hand made ones. I would have thought that QC would have stopped the low bamboo from making it out...especially since it's refurbished and should have extra QC. Phil assured me that the new hand made Plus' are indeed HOT.

I'll probably take my chances, and if it's not up to my expectations i'll send it back and ask for my money back.

Let us know how well it work. I wonder when will they start sending units to preorderers...

b0,
I would still take the plunge and get it, I am thinking that a freshly new unit will come perfectly. Also mine was shipped from PA where I had originally sent my old Cloud, I am thinking its there refurb center. Anyway I am still enjoying her. About to blow a couple of ELBs so start my morning

@stickstones: yes the cord is significantly shorter, maybe by two feet. I dont really mind since if i need a longer corder I use an extension. Its about 4 feetlong on the Plus unit, give or take.

Thanks SL420 for the confidence boost. I was thinking the same thing, that a warranty refurb Cloud might be a bit different than a new production hand made. Plus, Dopefiend receiving a box full says to me that they are hammering them out at a good pace. Really nice to see all the other HT packages in stock too.

I think i'd prefer a shorter cord anyway...there is obviously a good reason for everything Vapexhale does, and i'm pretty sure that this one isn't cost reasons.

I just got my cloud and had the same thing happen as sativa lover, my glass bamboo joint was all the way down.

I was able to push it up with some lite but direct force, made a sort of crinkling sound but it did move up.

I want to get it in the right position, I think its alright now. Haven't tried it yet but it does appear to form a tight seal now.
(later)
1:00 position seems to be quite effective at a quality lower heat vaping experience. One I don't think I've gotten to experience to often. After only like 5 pulls from a HT, I feel like it is a big improvement to what I had known previously.

Thanks Vessel! I am currently trying this and have managed to move The bamboo up slightly upward without making the crinkling sound though.

Yes, I'm excited about seeing new HydraTubes :-).

What does everyone do for drying their HydraTubes after they fill it with water? Right now I'm using paper towel and it's getting pricey, and needlessly wasteful. I'm thinking of getting a shamwow or something like that. Any ideas?

I go through so much paper towels too NV. I ended up going to Costco and getting the 40-pack or whatever.

I use a paper towel too, but I rip off just a tiny piece for cleaning the GonG joint. By ripping off just a tiny piece I'd go through maybe 1 half-sheet a week.

Also using costco mega-pack of paper towels

Actually I use a towel for the outside. Once I get enough water out of it where its pretty much just droplets inside I use a hair dryer. It will get off all the moisture on the inside of the glass so you dont get any water spots either. Works perfectly.

Any one concerned that new pluses may not be running as hot as the original ticker models, rest assured the new pluses are just as hot as the original tickers. My first unit was an original ticker from march last year, which died and was replaced with a non-ticker in December that was running really cold. I, like some here I've noticed, began to grow concerned the newer clouds were not running as hot as the original versions. Already just from the couple of sessions (with only kief and C02 wax, not even flowers) I've had with my new plus, it seems to be running just as hot, if not hotter than my original ticker (which would not combust at max, but would get close and blacken herb).

After a 2 cap kief bowl at 4 o clock my kief was a very dark brown, and it vaped all the kief in just one hit. The replacement non ticker I received in December struggled to vape straight keif even at max, but it was a faulty unit.

Oh, I'm so stoned I nearly forgot. Not only is the plus running as hot as the original tickers, it is much much cooler to the touch. After 30 minutes (@ 4 o'clock) was genuinely only warm, and not arguably hot like the original tickers could get.

All in all, I absolutely feel like the plus is a legitimate upgrade to the original ticker version, with no sacrifices being made. I have not tested heat up times, but it does go green very quickly. It's so fast I'm sure it could use some more time to heat up after going green, but the unit is definitely outputting more heat. So the quicker red to green time, is not just due to a change of at what temp for each setting will the unit change to green status, but does in fact seem to be due to greater heat output. Although still possibly combined with a lower threshold for the "green status".

@ t00fatt,

Great input. As a potential first-time Cloud buyer, it's good to hear that the cloud plus is an improvement over the original model. I've been following this vape for what seems like a decade and I'd like to know that I'm purchasing a reliable product that probably won't give me any problems within the first 2 years. With that being said, I prefer to use higher temperatures so if I can get that dark brown I'll be a happy customer.

I use a low power setting hair blower that I've had foever. Was originally marketed for delicate and gentle hair like children have so it doesn't get real hot but puts out a fair amout of dry air.. Cup the end and it can blow out the places a towel won;t get to.

Thats exactly what I do - works perfect and you get no water marks. Works perfectly everytime.

I contacted customer support before purchasing. Was assured to get the "plus" model.

I received an old one(8min heat-up, 9feet cord, spacer on the bamboo, old documentation ect..). Customer support don't awser my question and are very rude.

They tell me its only a waranty thing but I have medical issue and the unit is really hot, too hot to handle and safe with my condition.

I bought those rubber wrist band on ebay, hope it will do. We all know the older model have the high failure rate too.

I'm very dissapointed with customer service so far.
