Ed's TnT Wooden Vapor Tubes & Vapor Stems

Hey there! Just placed an order this morning finally! Any chance it would be here in MD by Sat? Not my expectation, but it would be great.... going to music fest in DC and don't want any broken glass LoL. Can't wait!
Ed's stuff only ships on Monday's and Tuesday's. Unless you pay extra to have it shipped right now, it won't be there till next week sometime.

Ordered a Bog Oak and cannot wait to try this out. Question Ed.. where is the farthest afield you've ever send one of your pieces? Just curious is all. I just imagined some Bedouin tribesmen sitting in the middle of the dessert vapin out round a big fire whilst their camals look on in envy.. and you guys thought camals drooled for no reason eh lol

Also started killing myself when I read a comment on the gadget site. The guy said, and I quote 'It looks like a brick made out of meat!' Lol.. damn those trolls and their bridge tolls.. or do I mean tools and their trolling?
xD

Happy Trails, VnS is right your order wont ship until this coming Monday. I spend the end of the week in the shop working wood and try to do all my shipping and errands first of the week! I will ship any other day but that cost is up to the customer.I hope you have a good time at the show, you will have this piece by the next one though!

VnS, thanks for your input bro and for letting folks know. I as said have been in the shop making LB Stems and putting some dugouts together. Trying to put some pieces that have been out of stock back in. There is always some wood to work at Ed's TnT.

KK, thats a good question, have covered alota new ground since I started selling the Solo stems and have them in many different countries now. Have sold em in Iceland, New Zealand, Thailand, and Russia as well as many others. Some of the wildest are the ones that come from right up the road a few miles at times. I live in a very small area in the country. Am a mile away from no where, there are dirt roads that dont have a mailbox on em or even a power pole near. The small town I live near by is like all the rest, everyone knows everyone. I have only lived here in the area for a few years so not everyone knows me yet, still keeping it on the low low. I dont like everyone in my business, cause my business is mine and no one elses! So its a trip to see an order come in and someone I know knows the person. Its a small world bro! Dont know if I mentioned it to you but I was born in Scotland and still have much family there. Very nice place to visit! Am from St. Fergus there and are part of the Sutherland Clan, remember being a boy riding bicycles to the beach in the summer and touring the old castles when I was really young. They were so big when I was so little! Have been gone for an awful long time.

Am not using the internal retaining clip now on the SOLO stems anymore, the new design with the SS pin installed does not allow you to push the ram rod all the way through. A pipe cleaner or swab can be used still. The screen is a simple 1/2" screen and seats really well within the bushing. I am unable to blow it out or even shake it out so think the clip may have been more than was needed in the first place. A few extra screens are sent free with every purchase so you will have more if you need em.

I hadnt realised you were from here no, that's cool!
Jeez your stems are quite the globe trotters then.
I believe I'd be of the Donaldson Clan.
Really IS a small world lol

I'm picking up a Solo this next week, and my first purchase (besides the Solo) is going to be one of your stems.

The video you made demoing the stem was all I needed to see. :)

I'd love seeing a video of your stems used with water filtration, as I'm considering pickup up a cheap bubbler/mini water pipe. I assume with the modifications to increase airflow, this will milk much better than the stock stems, but some verification would be nice. That and vape videos are exciting to watch (wow, I'm weird).

Also, what does the credit card charge look like? Decided between using my card or a pre-paid.

I dont have any water pipes are devices to show you how well it works. I know there are some folks out there that use it with the HT and other pieces if they would be kind enough to show us all! I do hear that they work very well this way and you may enjoy it alot.

The charge should just be from Ed's TnT, nothing that would give it away. And if your gonna use your card dont use a prepaid, those are not usable at my shopping cart.

Hope this is helpful and you can always give me a call at 1-877-564-5058 and I will answer any question you have!

Hey ed so i ordered one of your granadillo stems for the solo a couple of weeks back and just started to notice that the stem has become quite loose in the solo. I was just wondering if this was normal and if there was anyway to maybe make it a tighter fit.

Not sure what you mean, you did receive a stem with the pin installed in the side right? Is the stem itself when in the solo becoming loose in the heat port? I am sorry I need you to elaborate a little more for me.

Yeah the stem is loose in the heat port to the point that I feel like it would fall out if I turn the solo upside down.

Not sure what to say, these are made to spec and shouldnt be loose. Hm am at a loss right now.

Ed's TnT,
Sounds like his retention ring inside has become loose. I heard that you can tighten them back up by pushing on the side or something. I would suggest you search the solo thread as that is a problem with the solo itself and not Ed's stem. What model solo do you have?

Ed, just wanted to say thanks for the granadillo Solo stem - a beaut! Didn't get a chance to test-drive it last night, but will try to get that important work done a little later this week. :brow:

Ah well I should of also noted that it only gets this loose after I've been using the solo for a cycle or two and my solo model is the M1A. I've been looking through the solo thread and it seems like this happens with all stems after the solo has heated up? I couldn't find anything on loose retention rings,

yeah I believe all do that, mine gets a little loose after using it but I have never had any issues with its performance... the wood stem is the shit for on the go use, plus your allowed to be a bit more clumsy..

how bout that weather Ed, feeling good down here to me.. bout ready to whats right and put some meat in the freezer, hope all is well with you bro..

Got my stem in last night and it looks great! Thanks Ed. Obviously done by a pro. Plan to test it out tonight on the go :ninja: . The pin was a great idea to add security, but I have a question. Mine is not completely flush with the surrounding barrel and it may not be possible to manufacture it flush. It sticks out maybe a mm or less and I wonder if there is any concern that this may etch out the Teflon ring over time. If they all like this and no one has seen their ring loosen, it's fine. But if mine is out of spec or something, I was wondering what I should do. Thanks in advance for your replies and thank you Ed for a truly awesome invention to improve the portability of the Solo!

My pin also sticks out a little bit. I dont think its scratched the retention ring but it did etch some of the paint off on the plastic right above it. I dont think its caused any issues with performance though

Good morning, all is well Freak and am damn sure loving this weather here, just went yesterday and got my boys an 870 youth 20 gauge! They dont know yet have BDays and Christmas coming up so. They have been so anxious to shoot some skeet and get ready for duck season as have I. Not sure they are big enough yet but are getting close. My oldest will be 11 in a couple months but still dont think he has the height he needs to really use the gun. Know he needs a little more height to get in some of the holes we hunt. Glad you are liking your piece and the solo is working for you.

Happy Trails I hope you have had enough time to get to use your piece by now. The pin has been a tough piece to install and am still getting the hang of it. Some may poke out just a tiny bit but all fit in the solo I test em in before they leave the shop. I appreciate the kind words for my work and do hope you enjoy your piece.

Choism, good deal and glad you like! Hope you also are really enjoying your piece now also. The open bore hole all the way through does so improve airflow and provides hella clouds.

Thanks for he biz Toker, I will make sure you get the best of the pieces left! Will get your order out first thing Monday morning and look forward to your thoughts.

I hope all is well out there, have been in the shop the last few days finishing a bunch of dugouts. Just got a bunch of sticks of Blackwood in and will be working these and some Bog Oak into solo stems this coming week. Hope to have these back in stock within a couple weeks. I am also thinking I will make a few Bog Oak LB Stems if anyone is interested pls let me know. Think these will make a great addition to the LB and make a great contrast, not to mention have a great story. I have a bunch of piece coming that range in years from 3k - 5k! Some even though they are really dark have some great grain patterns and look amazing.

Patiently waiting for my Solo stem. If shipping is priority mail, it could arrive anytime between now and Friday and the anticipation is killing me :ko:.

I'll be sure to write a review for Amazon, as it seems the only review is a bit misleading now since you've started installing pins. Let's just hope I don't have too much fun and type incoherent nonsense .
