Gotta wait a couple more weeks to have the stems made but the boxes are done!

I got in my solo today & got to put my new ed's tnt granadillo stem to some real good use! at first I had problems gettin my stem in, as my unit warmed up over a few cycles it slid in nice & tug. I proceeded to pull and was blown away by the vapor, sitting here now wondering why it took me so long to buy a solo? if I had not tried out my "friends" solo I may have not bought a solo either. thanks "friend."

Glad you like it Jeppy! I hope you enjoy it for a while to come.

Had a great trip to Vegas this time, met a bunch of great people and found some deals on products that I do offer. May be doing some collaboration with a couple companys and their devices. Will be out in the shop trying new things and getting to know my bad ass two new HI's! Should have something for show and tell tomorrow.

Just wanted to say I received the stem in the mail last night. Got to try it for two sessions and I'm really digging it :D so tonight I will bringing out my solo to this little outdoor concert instead of my T1 with no fear of breaking the stem. So far I didn't have any issues with the wood separating from the bowl even when setting the solo to Max. Very impressed sir.

Glad to hear Mac, you should never have any separation issues! Should work well for you from here on! Pls let me know how it went out at the game bro!

The Vegas show went really well, met some great folks and hung out with a good friend there as well. Might be doing some collaboration with some new companies soon, got with the folks from Iolite and made these new vapor stems for it. If anyone is interested pls let me know.

These are Iolite stems that fit well in the mouth piece for it and add extra length.

has someone already figured out a way to convert the zapstems for use with the UD? I bought one way back for my PD, but now never use it anymore since it doesn't fit my UD, only rarely use it when I still use my PD(sometimes I take it with me to friends'houses)

anyway I think it's kind of a shame to barely use that beautifull stem

djonkoman, I was under the assumption that the UD used silicone sleeves to connect to the heat port. If thats so you could use a short 3/8" piece to do the trick I think.

yes, I tried with a piece of thin silicon that comes with the UD(not very familliar with inchmeasurements, so no idea wich size it is)
with some effort I can get it over the wood, but only on the side where the brass is in. (since the brass helps the silicon from shooting to one side while putting it around the wood), but the thin silicon doesn't hold a screen by itself well, the thick silicon does but the thick silicon is impossible to stretch over the wood of the stem.
maybe I could use ducttape to connect a piece of thick silicon to the mouth end, but that wouldn't be very pretty
