That is great news! I will see you tomorrow as soon as I get off from work (probably closer to 5:20 than 4:20) I definitely need more carts but the real reason is to try out the new Persei.

Damn why the fuck do I live in iowa? maybe the growers out here know whats up with concentrates(at least I hope they do), but the general stoner public, at least that i've met, has no clue. and fuck, someone, demoing a unit, publicly,legally? not an option.

Haha another Iowan! Thought I was the only one. But no kidding, concentrates (and vapes for that matter) are few and far between. Maybe one day...

So is the Persei release still as scheduled? End of Feb?

The persei will use two herb cartridges if we can get them to work at that small size.

The herb chambers will be almost the same design for both units, but different sizes.

Is the herb chamber currently available for the Omicron?. or can you ball park a projected availability?

Any updates or new youtube videos? this looks like an amazing vape, very interested in getting one.

It will be mailed out on or around the 28th of this month. Many reviews to come.

im hoping the herb cart progress is going well. cant wait to see some reviews and more video of this beast.

Guys update, Persei being shipped on the 29th, give or take a 2 days.

Reason we are waiting for the cartridges, and the 18350 batteries.

Persei Herb chamber is currently being tested, we are trying to implement a new design. If this design works then I will know when we will release it.

We have many great things in the works.


Hammer is going to be shown off in a few days when i get back.

Persei is getting a pass through system for in home use, and we are taking it a 100 steps further with a few additions to it.

LCD top is being redone right now and adding more features to it.

We have completed the tester for batteries and ohm and will show case this in a few days also.

This morning I submitted a ticket requesting my order be changed from an omnicron to a persei, I've been doing concentrates for a year or two now, dabbing using a nail and rig. I'm pretty excited to get my hands on the persei it looks like it is going to be well worth the wait!

I won a persei for free from Delta9vapes.com and the potcast. I cannot wait to get this thing im so excited. I was introduced fairly recent to extracts within the last year. And i must say there is nothing compared.

boy am i anxious to see how this thing works..... anything else like this available? arent there mods of other adjustable voltage pens like this somewhere? omicron just really doesnt cut it for me. pretty much a waste of money so far, manufacturer definitely advertises to make as many sales they can. whatever i guess.... these things are a luxurious tool for an even more luxurious herb.

Interesting comparison. Given the TV is for herbs not concentrate it seems a little odd somehow, but entirely possible I guess.

As to 'noting beats Omicron for portable potency', have you tried Revolution? My Omicron delivers a few mg of oil per hit (several hundred to the gram), my Revolution does 5 or 6 heavy hits on about 50mg....MUCH more.

I too like Omicron (and recommend it), but I sure can't make that statement.

I own a omicron, and wanted to to upgrade to a persei, but I need to know if it's going to produce much more vapor clouds with this via one cartridge method. I know you can put 2 of them on there, but i'm getting more power, means more of a vapor it?


I'm also wondering about the 3 types of carts I see now, and wanted to know if the higher the ohm, the higher the power, meaning the highest volt/ohm carts will produce the biggest hits since it's more power?

Probably should have prefaced with "IMHO", but here are some of my reasons. The key word is portable.

-The Rev is great, and undoubtably delivers bigger hits than the Omicron(although not as big as the Persei), but the sticky concentrate on the door gathers pocket fuzz, winds up on my phone, wallet, and fingers. That hinders the portability a bit for me.

-Having to bring concentrate to reload the Rev(and the mess that accompanies loading). Load an Omicron cart and you're good for a couple of days. Think you'll need more, or want a variety, load two or three carts and toss them in your pocket.

-Pocket full of batteries. True you will have to take more draws off the Omicron to match the hitting power of the Revolution, but the Omicron's battery charge is days as opposed to the Rev's minutes/hours. On one Omicron battery charge a number of people can be medicated for days.

-and of course the Omicron's a bit smaller than the Revolution.

Not sure I understand your question but the Persei, with two 3.6v batteries(included) and one 4 Ohm cartridge(included) on it, produces bigger vapor clouds than any of my vaporizers. I haven't even tried the double cart option because I can't finish a full draw with one cartridge.

The three different resistance (ohm) carts are for three different voltages. The current Omicron cart (2.5 ohms) at 3.7 Volts delivers about 6 Watts total (half to the vaporizer, half to the bulk heater). The 6 Volt version delivers about 12 Watts, assuming the power is still equally divided, this should deliver twice the vapor rate. The 7.4 Volt version (4 ohms) delivers still more, close to 14 Watts. For reference, Revolution is about 15 Watts. Persei can do parallel carts, so those numbers could be doubled that way.

Harder hits with Persei (and Revolution) are also possible because they don't 'time out', you can take longer tokes.

The ohm values are chosen to deliver correct power with the specified battery. For the same voltage, lower resistance (ohms) delivers more power, not less. Using other than the specified voltage is probably not a good idea.

IMO, the IMO part is understood, no real need to state it?

However, I guess I still disagree with the general idea. Most guys would consider both units as portables I'd think? You pull it out of your pocket, hit it a while, and quickly put it back. Like MFLB, VG, Iolite, Solo or the others, trade offs in capacity and service intervals exist.

As an opinion, of course, like what you like for your own reasons. But I think most guys would call Omicron, Revolution and (for practical purposes if they're being delivered) Persei as all being portable oil vapes and when you rank them for potency Omicron belongs at the bottom of the list, not the top. Just my opinion of course.
