Solution: Take smaller hits, with less vapor and more "oxygen", this way your body can absorb it all, ex: exhale fully, take in 50% lung capacity vapor, then full capacity of oxygen. Hits will be more effective. Yeah if you take an 80% lung capacity vapor hit, of course you are going to exhale extra vapor, it wont penetrate deep within the lungs and the alveoli, but stay in the larynx.

I used to do this a lot, but then I realized I was just inhaling a crap ton of my CO2, even though I could still get visible vapor. Also that study is from a Cano, and from years ago. I try to hold my hit in as long as possible. But the bag method isn't bad if you do only cycle it a few times.

talking about recycled vapor i tried something different last night. I took a huge rip off my ssv, and i didn't take in any fresh air to fill the rest of my lungs. i blew this concentrated vapor into a used volcano bag i had sitting around. then i just took little hits from it taking proper fresh air breaths to finish filling my lungs. i was amazed the amount of vapor still exhaled each time! I must have gotten 5 more hits from the bag, and they were still tasty even!

iv done this couple times in the past... it honestly doesnt make that much of a difference, its too much of a hassle and it tastes crappy the second time around.


not worth it .... and you ruin a bag with your germs.

yeha thats what i was thinking too germs from my mouth/airway. but im using an old volc bag that im no longer using anyways :p

my first few hits are small and then i just remain with that for about 10 - 15 minutes or until im feeling pretty well vaped out and then finish with some real long hits, usually taking a minute or longer to draw...very very slow and long. have to be careful with mine as you can overheat and combust if not careful, or even when careful.

There is no waste if the vapor is cool enough... We all know at what temp thc vaporizes but it recrystalizes lower than 85f so you gotta cool it enough so it can drop below that when it is inside your body... So you can do that by holding it some extra time,moisturize,using ice or the develop the vapor swallowing skill... I got a friend who loves to eat tasty vapors :)... .. Combine all these for max results. :) ..

And the truth about the big jump or the long run ...
I found it best to me to be the one hit kill...
Its like a boxing game... I am not entertained to watch two guy knockin the off 1 hour... and then they guy with the most points wins... Thats lame if you are askin me... i wanna see the knock-out .. The single hit that broke his head... and the guy collapses... :)... Thats what a want... just a single blow to make the day :)... Dont wanna slowly numb myself to sleep :D... I WANT THE RUSH :D

Abysmal Vapor, ya i do the "add fresh air" at the end of a hit to help with that. so i draw for about 15-20 seconds or so, pull away and hold, then suck in some fresh air and hold till i cant anymore...it does make a difference, just have to be patient with it.

i make like 30-40 seconds drawls and when the bong is full of milk i release the hole and hit the thc hurricane.. Thats the k.o.

damn, had it typed out and lost it...uh....

yeah ive done over a minute draws but i have to be pretty lit to not choke those, i find my cough/gag relfex is near gone when im significantly vaped which is pretty cool and allows me to take bigger hits, so i start slow and build up usually. the hurricane sounds intense! :peace:

I wonder if you could rig up a contraption that would bubble your exhale through an alcohol chamber, extracting cannabinoids to be recovered later? Even if you only caught half of the exhale, that would be 15% of the total.

Sorry if it is poor form to respond to such an old topic. I didn't realize it when I first replied (this is an edit).

I think I might try this, a couple of mason jars in series with tubing should work pretty good. Has anybody tried this?

This would probably work best if you like to take big hits.

My version of the airbag re usage tecnique posted by a couple guys on here is: when you dont have a bag you use your cheeks, and u puff them, and then push the air back into ur lungs and repeat like 10 times or something ... It seems to work for me, not sure tho :ko:

This is why you should strengthen your lungs and respiratory system using the powerlung or powerbreathe(google search. They are worth the money) and doing wind sprints which is running than doing a fast 30-40 second sprint and than returning to normal running speed.

Eating a lot of nuts and seeds which are high in fat helps also.

These methods will train your lungs to utilize oxygen which in turn will increase your thc absorption but the thing is you will be able to hold in the vapor long without any feel of unease and because this is not smoke but clean vapor you will get blasted and utilize all of the vapor which means your vapor will go a long way.

BTW, the difference between powerlung and powerbreathe is that the powerbreathe only works out your inhale strength while powerlung works both your inhale and exhale strength. These two are considered the best, at least in their price range, for strengthen the respiratory system.

If you are really serious about getting high having a strong immune system(eating whole foods nuts, seeds, leafy vegetables(juicing for high affect), fruit, beans, grains), nervous system(resistance training) and cardiovascular system(aerobics) will get you BLASTED especially when vaporizing or eating herb off of very little.

How Do I Do Wind Sprints?

During the middle of your aerobic exercise, add several short bursts of intensity by going faster or increasing the resistance. Don't try to go as fast or as hard as you can. Just go fast enough so that after 20-40 seconds you are breathing harder.

The real secret to increasing fitness with wind sprints is what you do AFTER the sprint.

To get the maximum benefit from your sprint, you've got to return to the speed you were going prior to the sprint. Do not stop or go slower than pre-sprint speed. After you have recovered from the sprint, repeat this sprint/recover cycle. You can eventually add up to 5-10 sprints per workout. Here's a bonus: when you add sprints to your workout you can shorten the total exercise time.

This is actually what I have been utilizing for about a year now. I can tell your the difference is present. My friends stare in WONDER when I hold in huge bong hits full of vapor. They cant do it and they dont understand how I do.

I add two layers on top of the training you mentioned. I constantly do HIIT (High intensity interval training) and crossfit training. And I practice "power breathing" while anaerobic and aerobic swim training.

Realistically though the difference it makes for me is simple. If I want to be stupid high very quickly I'll take 3 bong hits actually trying using my "power lungs". I will be a 10 within 10 minutes off one bowl. If I have a long session and medicate normally it takes about 1-2 hours for me to be a 10.

Do I notice any significant difference? Sometimes, it really depends on how you are medicating. If you want to take a few hits before work/class/errands it works beautifully. If you like to sit down for long sessions not so much. If I try to power lung my way through a long session. I'll find myself asleep within the first hour (no fun looking forward to a long sesh) .

This method will get you two of my three favorite state of beings.

1.) In Shape.
2.) Very fucking high.

What about Exhaling trough a chamber loaded with dry ice.. it will momentally turn the vapor to dust ;) :D .. Dry ice is very cheap i think .
