AVS m22

I think previous customer got 33 percent off
I paid 139 for the M22 and the Bubbler
$99 for just the M22 is 33% off

If you use AVS15 that’s what works now It’s $132 with 15’percent off

25% off is $111.00 which I think was the oct discount last year
I got the 15% off ... which I'm fine with ... sure hope it's worth it, and if it is it will be worth $150 if it is worth $130 :)

I'll also be picking up the bubbler and mod I believe when available.

I'm really excited for the mod also, I have a crucible v4 but I believe it's not working well with my mod so having a mod specifically for concentrates is gonna be great.

I'm pretty happy with my sic halo and sai for concentrates, and I'm on the list for a firewood 6 (next week I read today).

So I'm excited to read everyone's reviews to decide how it would fit into my arsenal. If it's like my halo in a portable, I'm all over it.

Wish I could afford to pre-order the bubbler, but also not super into preordering a bubbler that we’ve only seen not quite work right. Nevertheless I’m very excited for my M22 and am eager for a cordless and portable concentrate option(that’s not a torch and a rig, it’s bad enough explaining an enail rig to friends who are only familiar with bud

That said, it’ll definitely be in my budget in a couple months and I’m trying to hold on to cash on hand for the Mod, bc temp controls rather than riding the Watts seems also potentially easier to share a hit with friends who are more likely to just smoke a preroll

No, the Temperature Control will only work well with their mod. The ESCC can be used in wattage mode for normal mods, you just need to pulse it. Brent did say the mod does significantly improve the experience.

I'm just glad I didn't previously buy a hefty box mod like a DNA. I have a Drag v1 right now because it's basically the same height as their mod anyways.

Thanks @slikrick, I am a noob with concentrates so might wait for the complete unit to get the optimum result from it.

Depends on your definition of beta test I suppose? The product is being fully released, so you might say the preorders are beta testing or that the ESCC is being released without third party beta testing. Only betas with the coils were sent out, so I'm more inclined to say the latter.

If none of the people with early units have the SiC are all the preorders paying to beta test the SiC ?
The CEO says hes been testing for a long time probably close to a year maybe. It's new technology so I'm sure he didnt want it getting into the wrong hands.

This is understandable if true but has the CEO been testing from a full production run batch just yet to be released?
Or has the CEO exclusively been testing one off prototypes?

Since preorder customers have been waiting and have already been subjected to a shipping delay seems much more likely that preorder customers are crowdfunding the very first (beta) production run .

Why else would they not ship immediately if the CEO already had produced the first run of these and demonstrated through ongoing testing that the first production run was sound and within desired design tolerances comparatively to one off prototypes ?

I'm going to venture, based on what I understand from the technology, it will be pretty easily repeatable. Minor variances in SiC crucibles/semiconductors won't affect performance due to the thermal properties of SiC I wouldn't think ... and the electronics in the SiC crucible are not complicated ...

That is certainly the impression I have been getting.

Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm in this industry right now
I don't neccessarilly agree with that sentiment ... I enjoy being part of the "bleeding edge" here ... it's fun; it's a hobby for me. I realize this is new tech and they have very much advertised it as so ... I hope it meets my expectations, but if it does not, I won't cry over losing $100-$150. I've wasted a lot more money on vaporizers!

It all depends too how the company behaves after release. If it is successful or not, as long as they treat their customers with respect, their won't be too many issues I wouldn't think ... what gets frustrating is if one is strung along for weeks/months/years with repeated false promises and outright lies (I won't mention company names here, but those of you who are very active in the vaporizer community I'm sure one particular vendor/name jumps out at you ... making a bad name and making it difficult for all the true entrepreneurs out there trying to do something fun and cool for themselves and for the community--and if they make a buck at it that's cool too!!--if it works out :) )

100% agree we have already seen that AVS takes care of its customers. The delay was because they didnt have the material for the insulator and a last minute change to the coil they are including with it. Is the pre order funding the first batch probably but I wouldn't call them beta units because for now it's the final product. Some companies just release there product and dont revise it at all they stick to there guns and say there product works fine. I avoid those companies. I'd rather buy from a company that takes extreme ownership of there mistakes and try to make it right. The beta units out there seem to be doing fine with the coils so I'm not worried.

Prior to the Molecule, when AVS sold only e-cig wire and accessories, they could be a little unresponsive. Customer service has very clearly improved in the last year or so, since the company moved to Denver and began expanding into cannabis devices. At the same time, they're testing a new version of their e-cig atty, the Boaz. Got to test one - it's a winner, especially with the oct-core wire. They're also hiring (check their subreddit).

IMO, there's every reason to trust that AVS is what it appears to be - a small, successful company serious about its immediate growth and place in both markets.

The ESCC is patented.

I realize the ESCC is patented ... when I said it would be easily repeatable ... I wasn't referring to by competitors but rather that it is likely to be a repeatable and reliable manufacturing process so unlikely to have major issues once out into the market and no reason that it would behave different then the prototypes really ...

Small update: Brent said the Part 2 video should be out ahead of people receiving their M22's (so i assume it might come out this weekend or Monday), it will just be going over the M22 Oct-core and ESCC. The bubbler saw some changes and so it will be a small delay until those get to people (No ETA though).

The M22 should ship that week of the 9th if all goes as planned :)

The rig adaptor is in the works and will be revealed in the future. I'm actually looking to get that because i want to see how this thing really compares to a full rig experience.
