Advanced Vape Supply is following up their Molecule pen with an embedded quartz bucket design. With rapid heat-up, will we finally have an atomizer that works just like a nail? AVS is planning a matching mod and bubbler as well.

I think the more “apples to apples “ comparison would be this and the Motar.
I like the Motar very much and I’m really looking forward to this!

    EDIT: name spelling correction

I think he's referring to the Longmada Motar?

    Oop, too slow.

My next purchase. I have been very pleased with AVS, as the molecule has been my daily portable concentrate device.

That's too bad, last I had heard they were going for mid June...

Really excited for this. I'd really love to be able to give up exposed coils.

Still doesn't show the coil-less technology that will come with the m22.

Does a glowing coil directly in contact with material represent any improvement over other similar (and very old) designs? If so how?

AVS' approach is to use e-cig wire, hex-core clapton, with no wick or rod - unaware of similar products, except the subsequently released TRVP. Of course, it's a simple idea. Been vaping this way for years, DIY. The Molecule works as well as any DIY effort. Learned a lot wrapping flattened coils for it and now prefer them.

The stainless steel crucible appears to be new, hope it ships with one when they're available. AVS appropriately noted that encapsulated heaters are not new. It's too bad they didn't show the final version in the video.

This reddit sneak peak confirms that the m22 will have a SiC crucible. SiC is a conductor and current will be applied to it directly - it's not an insert. And, from this pic of the m22 with matching mod, it appears to be temp controlled.

Wouldn't want to be a competitor right now.:disgust:

From Brent on AVS' subreddit: "Right now we're entering production and wrapping up the finishing touches on the mod!"

AVS is certainly hyping the m22 with their reveals and sneak peeks. They're aware of the interest and aren't downplaying expectations at all. Hopefully, that's a good sign. The beta version encapsulated coil and SS crucible appeared to work very well, so it's reasonable to expect that the final version with SiC crucible will be even better.

Definitely keeping my eye on the M22 sounds like it’s exactly what I have been waiting for.
