I was Marine Corps. It was on the USS Durham back in "92.

6 of us and a bunch of Sailors who hadn't Crossed the Equator before, got hauled out there and...

(Someone who was kind enough to film The Glorious ceremony was equally kind enough a few years back to upload it on YouTube. Wish I could have enjoyed a capful or two afterwards. LOL)

In spite of what looks like horrifically gross suffering, it was only moderately gross suffering. LOL

It was all in good fun though. A tension breaker from the time on ship for everybody to blow off some steam, have some laughs, and of course earn our little coin as "Sons Of Neptune". LOL
Congratulations, you're not a polywog anymore. I to am an honorable Shellback .
USN on the USS FG - 26 1982.
That was tougher than bootcamp. I think I still have peanut butter in my ear to this day. What did you say?

I became a Royal Shellback in 1963, and I think I still have graphite grease in my ears from when I crossed in 1962. Lol. Doc

hmmm...
I'm seeing an opportunity for the accessory makers out there.

A stem with a tortoiseshell-style design!

"You earned your Shellback
COIN... :whip::puke::horse:

NOW, you can own a
"Shellback" STEM,
to go with it!"

OohRah, and Fair Seas, to all my fellow "Sons Of Neptune" out there!

Happy Vaping! :spliff:

I have been running my ghost mv1 this past week and it's an awesome vape, nice and smooth, so easy to draw from, free flowing. I tried out my dynavape m 2919 with an induction heater for the first time. holy moly! The "m" surprised the crap out me, first cap supper medicated. Its It's crazy this little thing, using such a small amout of herb can produce so much nice clean vapor. The draw is a little harder than the ghost mv1 but the reward is way worth it.

That's awesome! Perhaps next time doc Emmett Brown takes you "Back To The Future", you could bring us BACK a few of those 2919 M's!:lol:

(Sorry, man. I HAD to. :D)

I probably stretch out a particular amount of stash to three times what I used to, by vaping now.

PLUS, ABV edibles and "Stem Coffee"!

Definitely one of those top 10 benefits of switching to vaping!

DynaVaps have definitely got to be the most efficient and conservative of anything I've tried!

Since I got my "Cauldron" induction heater from @Pipes , I never use torches at home anymore.

UNLESS, I'm testing a particular new stem. :D

Once I'm done testing it though, it's nothing but the induction heater from there!

I save Tha Torch...
for Tha Porch!

Happy Vaping! :tup::leaf:

@thejackalsmark nice catch of @david8613's 2919 M. You never know, his name is "David8613". and I'll bet the Brain Wave Powered 2919M is a beast!!!

I'm so torn on induction heaters.

Except for the G43, my use of vaporizers is pretty much completely butane powered.

I just prefer the experience of the flame. But as good as I have become at modulating the flame, every session is different and there is no way to truly recreate the exact same experience twice.

My guess is that an IH is the closest thing you could have to "temp control". Given the same grind and load amount, cap after cap should give a similar experience. While I dont care about this consistency in my daily use, it would be nice for evaluating different stems, condensers and tips.

Purely for the sake of research I may have to succumb to IH :hmm:

At least, we know, they will still be vaping that far in the future. That's inspiring!

Ask for that temperature modulation, next time you hit a capful, point the cap to the ground so that the stem is vertical when you hit it.

Heat naturally Rises through the tip and through the stem assisting, slightly, in your draws as well as vaping that good old Herb At a slightly higher temp, and no significant increase in risk of combustion.
AKA - headier hits!

Happy Vaping!

Hi RougeGuy
I've been using a flux induction heater for the last 3 weeks (waited about 6 months) honestly a game changer , haven't missed using a flame at all

My vapcap tip fits perfectly into this random old 14 mm male to 14mm male glass adapter I have, So a all glass carbless WPA for dynavap tips may be incredibly cheap and common lol! If you have any 14mm male glass pieces, check and see if your tip fits in it :)

This is NOT the exact adapter I used, This is just a example of the type I found on amazon because I don't have a pic of mine handy, may or may not fit this one. https://www.amazon.ca/Z-Ran-Glass-C...m+male+glass&qid=1563737951&s=gateway&sr=8-31

thanks for sharing
that is a great idea...tho I dont do water anymore, I checked my old 14-14 and the tip was loose

given the variance of glass, it might be a good idea to take your tip to a smoke shop, and get one that fits

Pardon me for the delay,

I had to step back to perfect my procedures and refine my designs to provide a respectable finished product.

Being a machinist is a blessing, and a curse. As a machinist in an industrial environment, I have to be perfect on a daily basis. I’ve tried to bring that same attitude into my home shop. Satisfaction as a machinist is a challenge to conclude to. There are differences when my customer is a company that has no face than when I am creating and crafting a product with my name and reputation on it for someone in the DynaVap community to enjoy forever, a high quality finished product is quite a demanding task. Again I am not a company and I am not retired. I am just a DynaVap fan with a passion for machining.

I create products with the highest quality standards that I would expect as if I were buying them myself. I ignore time put into a creation, I believe art should not have a timeframe. This gives me the ability to bring you high quality premium products. Machined, carved, formed and handcrafted, everything is made myself for you to enjoy.

I still think these pics don’t do justice.
I am currently making airport-less Finsters, let me know if you are interested in one please. More unique stem and pedestal designs coming soon as well.

Thank you all for the support,

Butane, butane everywhere but not a whiff to click!!

Undone, not by a lack of butane, but a lack of butane in the right places. All my small lighters have run out or sadly stopped working ($3 favorite torch:\) and I dont have a can. I have multiple big torches with gas but all are too big to even bother with.

I do have a gas stove.
